I recently had to place my husband on the memory care unit at Westerville Senior Living. If I could give them 10 stars, I would give them 10+ stars! This place is wonderful! The staff is so caring the food is excellent and I would not have my loved one any place else! I am so satisfied I can’t say enough good about them! From admission to director of nursing to the director of the memory care unit to all the staff, including activities I say thank you for the wonderful job that you’re doing taking care of my husband and the other residents!

Westerville Senior Living is a wonderful facility that truly feels like home to residents and family members alike. We first moved Mom into assisted living in January after a stint in the hospital let us know she couldn’t live alone anymore. The care and compassion of the staff is unbelievable. The nursing staff, therapy staff, dining room servers, housekeepers, front desk, and administrative staff are exceptional. Katie, the executive director is the kindest, most caring and understanding individual I have ever met. Sly, the head of maintenance has gone out of his way to help in every way possible. After some improvements in Mom’s condition, she wanted to give Independent living a try. While the time there was short lived, everyone was so helpful and accommodating in getting Mom moved back to assisted living. She feels safer and is much happier to be back home where she knows she can always count on the staff to assist her. They are truly loving and caring and tend to her needs with gentleness and grace. As her daughter, I know that Mom is in great hands and I can sleep better at night. I definitely recommend WSL! The residents are friendly, happy, and have so much to do. There are so many activities and the atmosphere is so upbeat and positive. My family and I appreciate WSL so much!

Westerville Senior Living is super clean, and the staff is just awesome. The residents are always chatting, laughing, and having a great time. There’s always something fun going on, whether it’s an activity or some entertainment to keep things lively. What really makes this place special is the amazing staff, especially the director of nursing, who really goes the extra mile for families and our loved ones.

Westerville Senior Living is thorough and communicative with my mom's care. The building is always clean, the staff is friendly from the front desk to housekeeping and resident assistants, and the maintenance team puts residents first. Mom enjoys the meals and social opportunities, and I'm grateful she is always safe and happy here. Pricing is also fair compared to other options in the area.

My Mom has been living at Westerville Senior Living since Aug 2023. She moved in to assisted living and now Memory care. I can't say enough about the employees, from Becca at the front desk, to Kala the memory aid to Emily the memory nurse to the director Stoey. There are sooo many employees that are amazing these are just a few names. The care they give to the residents is exceptional and show them LOVE. They make mom and other residents feel important. They really care. Not to say we have accounted a problem, and when we did. They took my hand, and we figured it out together. I have never felt unheard. When we placed mom, I have experience in health care. We looked at least 10 places. I walked in and knew she was home. I can't recommend Westerville Senior Living Enough!!!!

In October 2022, after a fall at the Cincinnati home where he lived for over five decades, my dad asked me to do whatever I could to move him out of his house/my childhood home. So, on Veterans Day that next month, he moved to Westerville Senior Living. I remember because the staff had left him a card on his fridge in his new apartment that read "Thank you for your service," along with an American flag pin. He'd served in the Army in the 50's, so that small detail was a cool introduction to the place. In the over 2 1/2 years my dad has been there, the staff there has been exceptionally good to him and the food is even good there! Westerville Senior Living (WSL) is always clean and bright, not dark and bleak like some other centers you might have visited. There are daily events the residents can participate in. My dad likes "Name That Tune" and Trivia. There's also a weekly concert on Friday he likes to attend where a different musician comes to perform. Katy, the executive director, formerly the Director of Nursing there, is excellent in both roles, so that gives me peace that people like her are around my dad. She even puts out a new weekly newsletter that's emailed that I can read to keep up with what's going on at WSL and print out for my dad to read later. Autumn, Tameka and Emily are three others who've been very good to my dad too. My dad (along with my mom, now deceased) gave me an incredible childhood and I was always supported and never felt unloved. WSL is one of those places where I can return the favor and make sure he's comfortable, feels safe and is happy. And I'm twenty minutes away now, so that makes him feel even better. I am very happy with Westerville Senior Living.

The local staff is great however corporate (Spectrum Retirement Communities) is a joke. They micro-manage the local staff so it takes forever to get anything done if it does get done. If you attempt to call or email the corporate staff, you don't get a response. Attached are pictures of the carpets in the hallways; would you want your loved one living with this? The first picture is a stain that's been outside my door since I moved into this apartment in February.

WSL has done a fantastic job managing the COVID epidemic. They put the resident’s safety first while doing everything they can to maintain morale and activities. The staff cares and their containment results are the proof. My mother is happy there and the family is too!
