My husband, who has Alzheimer's disease, has been at Gables of Green for almost 3 months, and I cannot say enough good about them. The staff, the care, and everything about the place is beyond expectation. There are many activities. The dining is like a restaurant with a great menu and very good food.. Everyone called him and me by name from about day 2. The medical and therapeutic programs are also excellent. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, I highly recommend Gables of Green. ”

This place is a total gem compared to other nursing homes that my brother and I have experienced in the area. If you're looking for a great place for your loved one(s) to receive great care and be treated with respect and kindness, look no further. I highly recommend them and they were not even the most expensive that we had experience with, so I think the price is very reasonable for the level of care they give. Maureen was amazing to work with the entire experience and she is a superstar who made everything straight forward and easy. Everyone there we interacted with was friendly, kind, and helpful. It's a beautiful building, great location (SummaCare ER is just a block away or so), etc. Go take a tour and see for yourself 🙂

Jacob, I can’t say enough about the wonderful care my sister and her husband have received at your center. They love living at Gables of Green. It starts at the front door. Olivia greets you with her beautiful smile and is always willing to help in any way. I have yet to meet any staff who don’t have a smile as they pass you in the hall. Mora, head of nurses has gone way past her duties. My sister now counts her as a friend. She has made the great task of continuing their medical needs at the center go so smoothly. She is so busy, but always takes time to answer questions or help in any way needed. I can’t thank the activity directors enough for their creative activities they provide each day. My sister calls each day to let me know what they are doing. I so appreciate if my family isn’t there they go to their room to remind them of what they will be missing. The dining room staff are always cordial and my sister and brother-in-law love that they can pick from a variety of choices on the menu. All of the staff in administration interact with them daily making them feel like family. It was a hard decision to move into assisted living for my family, but they have truly felt like family at Gables of Green. I recommend the center to everyone I know. Everything runs smoothly, but it still feels like home, which is so important for both residents and their families. Jacob is fantastic to work with. His customer service is top-notch. The Gables staff provided excellent service and compassion for my parents during their final years. The facility is definitely one of the premier assisted living/memory care facilities in NE Ohio. I want to thank the Gables for their excellent care of my grandma over the last 16 months on hospice in the memory wing. They had to feed her every bite and every sip of drink. Change every adult garment. Their high quality care kept her alive far longer than we expected. No bed sores. No falls. Long enough that she got to meet her great granddaughter on Easter. I work in health care. Most SNFs and Assisted Livings are depressing, institutionalized garbage with apathetic underpaid staff and high turnover. I am very grateful we found an exception because her burden of care was too high for us to handle on our own.

The Gables of Green is truly one-of-a-kind, and I feel incredibly blessed to be part of this community. Last fall my Mom's health and ability to stay at home by herself changed suddenly, which made for nervous times since I live in Connecticut. She was in rehab for some time regaining her strength and that's where our search began to find a new home that felt like "home" for my Mom. That's when The Gables of Green answered our prayers. The Gables of Green came to us with such outstanding reviews we couldn't help but listen. From the very beginning conversations with Laura Swansiger, the Sales & Marketing Director, we felt supported, listened to and cared for. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her by our side through this transition into my Mom's new studio apartment. She went the extra mile in so many appreciated ways; she picked my Mom up from rehab and brought her to The Gables of Green, she added homey touches and furnishings to her apartment so it didn't feel so empty, she was able to locate a sit to stand recliner just perfect for my Mom and she spoke often with me in Connecticut, sending me videos of my Mom's new "home" so I knew she was safe and well cared for. My Mom lost a lot in this huge change to assisted living; her house, her kitties and her neighborhood friends. The Gables of Green was patient, flexible and kind while my Mom set her pace for finding joy again. She initially took her meals in her apartment while she was becoming acclimated to her new surroundings. The nurses always keep me in the loop on any changes in medications and doctor visits which is so appreciated. It took about a month or so and my Mom started to get more active and social. Honestly a complete transformation from the woman from last fall, she now walks the hallways saying hi to all, participates in many of the fantastic activities (even taking minutes at meetings), she has made wonderful friends and loves to help other residents feel more comfortable and just loves all the pets she gets to see on a regular basis. She likes the convenience of the salon for her regular haircuts, the staff take great care in cleaning her apartment and laundering her clothes and she raves about the food that is prepared and the chef there always will do extra to bring a smile to her face...the smoothies are amazing! I give The Gables of Green facility and staff my highest recommendation and appreciation for making my Mom's home feel like home again!! All my thanks!

We highly recommend the Gables of Green (GG)! My mother-in-law is there now, and has been for about a year. Several years ago, we had my mom in other facilities. GG is far superior to any other place we have been! All of the employees are helpful and friendly. The nurses are caring and watchful. My mother-in-law was on a Hoyer lift for part of the time, needing two person assist, and is now walking with a walker or cane. She didn't have to move to a different part of the building or to another facility for her health transitions, which makes it feel more like she is home, not in a facility. Her one bedroom apartment with a door directly to the courtyard also makes it feel like a home, and is very convenient if you have a small dog (pets are welcome). Having the dining room open all day with a much larger menu than most places offer makes a huge difference. She prefers to eat brunch rather than a breakfast and a lunch, and she can do that here. They will customize her food for her. A resident can eat in the dining room or have their meal delivered to their apartment for no additional cost. The activities are better and more tailored than anywhere else we've seen. My mother-in-law is legally blind. They customize everything they can to help her participate, and go out of their way to make sure she is included. When deciding on a place and moving in during Covid, Laura from marketing was a dream to work with. Kim is very diligent about helping us with the long term care insurance paperwork (actually, she does nearly everything for us!). We would choose this place again in a heartbeat.

I have to say what a wonderful experience I had at The Gables of Green. I took my children to visit during the crafting time and what a joy it was to see all the residents participating and enjoying themselves. Everyone was inviting and welcoming, especially the Executive Director, Christi Kugler. She was right there with the residents helping and making sure they were taken care of and having a good time. Christi has such an energetic and inviting personality, which shines throughout this facility! Christi has changed the entire atmosphere since she has been at The Gables of Green, her love and compassion for the geriatric community shines through her. My mom just moved in a few weeks ago. She never had a social life at home and preferred to be alone. Today when I walked in to visit, she was sitting with other ladies playing Euchre! TEARS!!! So grateful for this facility and the way they love my mom!

My husband and I visited my friend from church this weekend. She was sitting in the sports bar playing Euchre with some gals and watching football. The place was like a mansion and so clean! I took my grandchildren to Gables of Green for their Halloween festivities. I have to say that I was very impressed with the whole experience from the Executive Director, Christi Kugler, to all of the support staff. All of the residents were participating in the activities and my grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Not to mention the amount of candy they came home with ! This facility is by far the front runner for the place that I plan to entrust with my mothers care. Thank you Mrs Kugler for making this an outstanding facility!

The Gables of Green is such a beautiful community. The staff is wonderful and the Residents are so much fun. Ive visited friends who live in the community during their Happy Hour. It is such a blast! They have live entertainment, food, and wine. The food is always amazing. This place is filled with so much laughter. Every time I enter the building I am always greeted, by everyone! I truly feel that this is a place where people matter.

Gables of Green is a blessing to those of us who need such a facility. Although Mom and Dad would have dearly loved remaining in their home, it was not possible. Gables of Green keeps them safe and secure. All employees are kind, caring and knowledgeable. My parents health issues and medicines are closely monitored. Communication from staff has always been speedy and thorough. The facility is beautifully kept and completely open to family, friends and neighbors. The dining room is bright and cheerful and the food is delicious. The Gables of Green gets a five-star rating from me.

I have to say what a wonderful experience I had at The Gables of Green. I took my children to visit during the crafting time and what a joy it was to see all the residents participating and enjoying themselves. Everyone was inviting and welcoming, especially the Executive Director, Christi Kugler. She was right there with the residents helping and making sure they were taken care of and having a good time. Christi has such an energetic and inviting personality, which shines throughout this facility! Christi has changed the entire atmosphere since she has been at The Gables of Green, her love and compassion for the geriatric community shines through her. The memory care unit is not was anticipated for our dad. We were told there were many activities and staff available 24-7. That did not happen. If it wasn't for my family visiting dad and taking care of him, he would of lacked important care that we had to provide. I would recommend checking other places before putting a family member here for memory care.

My mom 95, loves living there. They have great activities to keep her busy if she wants to join in. She loves being around all the friendly staff. She even loves the food. She has gained some ponds back! A good thing. She has made some new friends . Im happy that she is happy. Tough decision to have to make but it was worth it!

This place is like a resort. Amenities are not lacking either. Staff is very friendly and very clean place too. Wish my Aunt could have been able to enjoy everything here. She passed. Still love this place though.
