All of the 1 and 2 bedroom residences available feature some of the largest floor plans available in Toledo. Our rooms are designed for seniors to be comfortable and have private bathrooms. We have an experienced and trained staff to serve the unique needs of our senior residents living in Toledo. We promote our employees to serve with compassion, kindness and patience. We designed the dining area at Genesis Village to be a cozy, home style setting for our residents and family members. Our specialty is customized menus that provide delicious, home cooked meals that meet the needs of all residents.

Hands down the best in Ohio and Michigan! A little town under one roof. The staff take pride in their jobs and truly care about the residents. My Girl Scout troop has done several activities, tree decorating, & partnering with them. Cannot recommend enough!

My mom lives at Genesis and its a wonderful place. The staff is great and always helpful. The food is usually very good. We love that theres a salad and soup bar and the food is served buffet style. The apartments are also spacious for a senior living place. All in all, a great place to live.

4stars because this gives the 55+ folks a wonderful living option. Complete independent living with all the perks taken care of for you. IF you need a bit more help, there is a home health care office RIGHT ON SITE. (its extra per visit, but the help is there if needed). The staff working the building is beyond kind, generous and helpful. The only reason Genesis doesnt get 5 stars is due to the food. They only provide Lunch and dinner (breakfast can be eaten in a cafe, but is just self serve donuts or fruit) and while the lunch and dinner are totally sustainable, its mediocre at best. Lots of variety, but the meat is usually tough and flavorless and the no amount gravy or thick sauce can hide that.

Amazing facility with wonderful caring staff! Great activities, pool, hot tub, weight room, craft room, movie theater, and vegetable garden. This is a place i would love to live in one day!!

I have never been so pleased with the level of care my mom gets there at Genesis. Everyone is so friendly and watches out for her. The staff is top notch. The meals she gets there are phenominal- I eat there with her sometimes. All in all- you certainly deserve more than 5 stars. Thanks for my Mothers great care.

I love Genesis. I taught silver sneakers classes there and everyone is so great! When you walk in you feel like you are home!! Cant say enough good things about this place. And the food is great!!

My daughter worked there this summer and was warmly embraced by the residents and staff prior to leaving to extend her education. Dan does a great job overseeing all the meals, and I want to thank him for putting her on the team, as well as all the people that call Genesis Village home that were friendly and gave her a heartwarming send off! The facilities are fantastic, but its the people that make this place special!
