We looked at six fairly comparable facilities before placing my sister here. All six of the facilities were quite lovely and in close enough proximity that we could visit often. Some establishments were actually much newer and had amenities not available at Aviva. Although Aviva is an older facility, several nice upgrades have been made. We selected Aviva primarily because of it’s smaller size and how well they seemed to keep their residents engaged in daily activities. She has been there for about 2 1/2 months now and we are extremely pleased with our selection thus far. The entire staff have been supportive and helpful, which we greatly appreciate. This is her current home and we are hoping it will be her forever home!

My grandmother is there. She was in a place previously that was not quite up to our standards and fortunately, we were able to get a spot here at this facility. The night shift is very kind to my grandma, one of the ladies prays with her each night before she leaves her room. Typically they keep things clean. They have different activity programs and for the most part, she is happy and has a great nutrition plan.The room was remodeled before she took it over and she has a pretty nice view. The administration team is Great to work with and Jody is very caring and knowledgeable.

A loving and caring facility for your loved one. My dad has been a resident for about 2 years. I moved him from another facility because they weren’t up to standards. I couldn’t have made a better decision. They treat my dad like family and he loves it there. I use to worry so much, but now it’s no worry for me. They take good care of him. Linda and her staff are awesome. She goes above and beyond to satisfy her residents and their families. She make sure that her staff follow all rules and regulations. Jody the actives director is awesome. She helps to keep the residents active and filled with lots of fun and games. I’m very satisfied and wouldn’t change a thing. Keep up the good work!!! I have been involved with Glendale Assisted living for over 6 years. On both sides of the coin. My mother lived at the Glendale for over 2 years. Her care was nothing but perfection. Her nurses always administered her meds in a timely fashion, Home health aides were there to assist to her needs daily. and in a timely fashion. She loved the food there and if she needed assistance with feeding they were always there to assist. The director Linda Johnson has regularly scheduled staff meeting and always nows everything about the residents that lived there. And with all her duties she still was able to be on top of all her residents. And how did I know this? Well I am a registered Nurse and was there everyday to visit my mother. Jodi the activities director always has lots of activities planned. From the zoo, to Manor house, to lunch dates, parks, and ice cream visits. She also went out of her way and went store shopping for those residents who could not get out or had no one Available to assists. Of course this was all before covid. But now that my mother has passed, I am still involved with the Glendale. I am an RN and see residents on a regular basis thru the Health care company I work for. There a few new faces there like the DON Krystal. She is an excellent educator, and always goes beyond corresponding with family and staff. When I walk into the Glendale, everyone is friendly and says good morning with a smile,. That makes my day. So, if your looking for a family oriented home for your loved one. The Glendale has been a lifesaver for me! I had been taking care of my dad for years, and was truly hoping I would be able to do so for his entire life, but that was unrealistic. He broke his hip in May 2020, and that along with his declining memory and rational thinking, I had to make a decision. I prayed and prayed, and prayers were answered when I received a call from Julie. I’m sure she has no idea how much her kindness helped me. We moved Dad in in July. It was extra difficult with Covid and there were a few hurdles, but overall, I can’t complain. Krystal was very helpful with everything at this time. She is kind and easy to talk to. Dad seems to be doing well, and overall happy. I still call him several times throughout the day and sometimes he doesn’t hang up the phone, so I leave it off on my end also, so I can call out to him if he seems confused. In doing so, I have heard aides come in with such kindness in their voices. They call him buddy and one has even said love you guys as she left after getting he and his roommate ready for bed. This warms my heart. With any assisted living, you are going to have things that come up that you don’t like or agree with, but I would highly recommend The Glendale. I can’t go without saying they have the BEST activities director, Jodi. She is kind and awesome at her job!

The staff at Glendale are the best!! They CARE!! They go above and beyond to keep their residents engaged in many activities. The home is clean and feels like home. It’s been a difficult year with COVID but they have managed to stay safe which is critical.

From the moment of my first phone call Monday to my Father-in-law passing away at their facility yesterday this AMAZING group of people helped to provide comfort not only for us as the family but also for dad who wasn’t even under their care for three hours! They showed HUGE levels of love and comfort all while respecting our wishes!! Because these people are so compassionate all of his children were able to be with him for his passing. Long story short if you need people that you can trust that are going to care about not only your family member but also yourself in difficult times such as these, then take them to The Glendale Assisted Living! They deserve a 10/10 all around

My mother has been here for about 3 months and is adjusting nicely. She is making friends and going on outings and really seems to be enjoying herself. The food is great and they're doing a good job of looking out for her.
