This is a fabulous place to call home. They take great care of you. They care about you and the food is wonderful. The people are wonderful. They are truly glad to work with you to see you to help you, etc..

My grandmother spent her last few weeks here and it was such a blessing. The staff were wonderful. It felt like we were visiting her at a 5 star hotel. The family was able to purchase meals and eat with her and the food was delicious. We noticed something else that we could not believe. Every meal every employee no matter their job title, came out and helped deliver meals to the residents that were in their rooms.

I visited a friend at this facility. The place is extremities clean. The staff is pleasantly attentive and care genuinely fir their patients. The dining experience is wonderful for their patients as well as the visitors. I would highly recommend this place fora love one who need long term medical assistance.

We had my mom at the Lakes of Sylvania for respite care while we were out of town. If I could give them more stars I would! My mom had an excellent experience here and would highly recommend the Lakes of Sylvania to anyone. They took fantastic care of her. The entire staff is so friendly, helpful, attentive. We were so appreciative knowing she was well taken care of. Admittedly, my mom was apprehensive about going to the Lakes at first but when we went to pick her up, she didn’t want to leave! She said everyone there was wonderful! Thank you, Lakes of Sylvania, for everything you did taking care of my mom. We are forever grateful! We highly recommend the Lakes of Sylvania!

This is without a doubt the most wonderful facility. The facility is beautiful and immaculate. Everyone there are warm, friendly and caring. This applies to the administration, nurses, nurses assistants, house keeping, kitchen personnel, maintenance and a special shout out to all therapists (physical, speech and occupational). Our family is eternally grateful for the outstanding level of care that was provided and the unwavering support given to us during a very difficult and challenging period in our lives. We have the utmost respect for everyone there. They made us feel like family and they all be regarded as our friends for life. Thank you so much. God bless to all.

My father was a patient at Lakes of Sylvania for a few weeks in February of 2025. We had the absolute best experience with their nurses, caregivers, and staff. They made sure he was comfortable and safe, while always keeping the family informed about what was happening with his care plan. He had been at another facility before going to Lakes of Sylvania that was dirty, with sub-par meals, and we consistently felt in the dark about his care plan. I would highly recommend Lakes of Sylvania for anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, well-run facility. 5++ Stars!!

Thanks for the wonderful care I had while staying at the Lakes of Sylvania during my recent rehab after surgery. The staff were wonderful & most were very positive; food was wonderful, everything was very clean & atmosphere was positive. The rehab staff were exceptional in their approach to therapy & made it fun to be in the rehab room. All of the staff made a point of knowing everyone’s name, even the chef!! Lakes of Sylvania is a great place to to live with helpful and available staff. The food is exceptional and I was actually sorry to leave after two months post surgery rehab. PT and OT are dedicated and fun. Do not hesitate to choose Lakes of Sylvania for the Villa's, Assisted Living or Health care.

My mother received outstanding care from the nurses, aids, the custodial staff that cleaned her room and the dining staff. She was in assisted living for 2 years at the Lakes of Sylvania.

Live in the villas at Lakes of Sylvania We have been under a pandemic we understand but to stop giving good service like maintenace for the Villas is not right Takes a long time for someone to fix anything A lot of the villas have problems and we cant get it fixed until we keep calling Then they raise the rent yearly This year we have not been able to get was was promised when we signed the contract so why should they raise the rent peole are starting to move to better places that they can get their moneys worth

My mom was at Lakes for 3.5 weeks and we highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking. The staff were caring, kind, efficient and SO patient. Every department works well together and keeps the family informed. They were very accommodating to our mom. The food was great.

I have very mixed feelings about my care here. I was here 5 days before I saw the doctor and got my pain medication fixed so I’d finally get relief. Those days were terrible and this facility was not able to provide the amount of care I needed. The food is very good on the whole but you have to order any condiments you need such as butter for bread. Physical therapy is very good and they are great people. Things got better as I was healing but depending on who the nursing staff and aids we’re determined how efficient the care was. Some of the medication nurses were top notch but some left a lot to be desired. Would I tell someone to come here? It would depend on why they were coming. They are not equipped to take care of some of the patients they had while I was here. So think twice before coming here!

I cannot say enough good things! My grandpa needed some acute care for a short period and Lakes provided the best of the best! The Nurses were all amazing especially dealing with his wound care, the management team was always walking by asking what they could do for us, and therapy didn’t take any of his stubbornness! He is now on his way home! Thank You!

I am so impressed with the Lakes of Sylvania. Throughout this pandemic they have gone above and beyond for the residents including my mother. The procedures they have implemented show how much they care for all the residents. We know it has been a trying time not seeing mother but I am thankful for all the steps they have taken as well as many others. We sure do miss the monthly brunches, family nights, and happy hours but we understand that social distancing is a must so that we can beat this virus! Centers for Medicare and Medicaid just announced the 5 star rating for this facility and it is nothing short of 5 stars! If you are looking for a safe and well maintained facility for your family be sure to check out Lakes and don't let the negative reviews persuade you. Many can attest to the greatness!

My father is currently there and unfortunately I am an almost 3 hour drive away. But, have had some concerns during my visits during the holidays. Personal care not being done, such as showering, denture care. The so-called reclining chairs, older adults can not operate and do not recline back far enough. I have reported my concerns to whichever nurse is on duty to no avail. I've even left messages for the Director of Nursing to call me, nothing. The facility looks nice, but it's not easy to cover up bad care.

I spent 31 days at the facility. Beauty of the place did not help the actual care. The business end, the so called social worker and the administrator leave much to be desired. The nursing staff had some definent highs, the lows fell on the care of the aides. Very disappointed...first time ever being in a facility. Would not go back, would not recommend.
