My wife and I have resided at The Inn since the middle of November 2025. Our expectations concerning the actual physical facilities and the care we hoped to receive have been exceeded far beyond what we expected. The staff has made our transition from our past life style to assisted living painless. We highly recommend The Inn at Walnut Trail.

This place is as good as it gets. The facilities are absolutely stunning. Their pricing is very competitive but most importantly their staff is the best I have ever encountered. These folks honestly care about your loved ones.

I would like to take this opportunity to comment Director of Sales, Molly Redrick on the professional job she has done to house our longtime friend who has dementia ailments. Molly has been extremely pleasant to deal with, friendly, and helpful beyond my expectations as Power of Attorney for our friend. I can and do recommend the Inn at Walnut Trail based on not only Molly Redrick, but several other members of the staff that we have had the pleasure to meet.

We toured with Molly and we were very impressed with her industry knowledge and her quick response. This will be a very easy decision for us.

My father was a resident of the memory care facility at The Inn at Walnut Trail in 2022-2023. He was not the easiest of residence to work with, by any means. Despite that, I cannot say enough good things about the care he received from the nurses and aids. With each visit, it was clear that he was forming a bond with those caring for him and vice versa. We had previous experience with similar facilities that I would not recommend. However, if you find yourself in need of care for an elderly loved one, I would absolutely recommend The Inn at Walnut Trail.

Review My mother was a resident in the Brook(memory care) just before and during the COVID lockdown. The facility itself is beautiful, welcoming and homey but more importantly the staff from top down were outstanding! I was there everyday until lockdown and witnessed the dedication they had to their residents. When lockdown commenced I was totally at ease knowing mom was being well cared for. I also appreciated the staff making it possible for window visits etc. I still follow them on Facebook and am delighted to see all the activities and celebrations they put together for the residents. I’ve had personal experience with two other memory care facilities and the Inn at Walnut Trail is hands down the best of the best!
December 2024
My wife has been living at the Inn at Walnut Trails for about two months now. She is getting oriented and enjoys staying there. All the residents get together in the large common area for meals and a variety of activities during the day and a number of surprise activities and entertainment. There are also a number of small areas around the building with chairs, couches and TV’s. The large enclosed garden area makes it easy for the residents to go outside in nice weather. It is a one-story layout and easy to get around and it feels very relaxing. The people there make the Inn. All the directors and staff are amazing. They’re very friendly, smiling, knows everybody’s name and are always out with the Residents. They are very open in telling you how your loved one is doing and listening to your questions. I feel at ease knowing she is safe and well cared for 24 x 7. I definitely made the best decision after looking at many places in the area. The move in process was fairly easy and our new adventure with this neurological disorder continues. Speaking of finding the right place for your loved one it is not an easy task and it takes time to truly look at a lot of different places and talk to them and get a feel for what they offer and what they’re like. So, start early. I found 15 places in the area and was surprised how many facilities there are. They all provide the basics for Assisted Living and Memory Care. I started by going to places and just sort of going in and walking around and talking to the residence and the staff asking how they liked it, how was the food, etc. Just by looking around you can find the differences (positive/negative) you need to know which means several visits, then getting the sales pitch, narrowing it down to 2 or 3 places. After a while they all blend together so I always sat in the parking lot and made lots of note and tried to assign Yes, No or Maybe to start to narrow the list. A friend mentioned she knew a person who professionally provides guidance on finding assisted living or memory care facilities. I got in touch with her and talked about my wife and our situation. She talked about some things and she made it much easier to continue forward and she wasn’t biased. She didn’t push any place because I wasn’t paying her, but the facility where I would end up would end up paying her from what I understand. She made all the appointments, knew virtually all the sales people and helped pull out some things that I saw and didn’t see. After each visit the two of us would sit down and compare notes and go onto the next visit. We narrowed it down to three so we went again and looked around and talked a bit and then we went once more to my last two and it was clear that the Inn at Walnut Trails was best for my wife and family.
December 2024
My mom was a resident in memory care needing full care for advanced Alzheimer’s. The staff were very attentive and caring to her and our family. They showed respect in the care provided, the activities were inclusive and appropriate. Aside from the incredible care my mother received, the building inside and out are stunning. You would think you’re walking into a 5 star resort, it was always so clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing the services they provide.
December 2024
My mother has been a resident in the memory care at The Inn at Walnut Trail for nearly two years. We needed urgent placement for her after the sudden loss of my father, her caretaker. They moved swiftly understanding the urgency and we had her moved in within days of inquiring. It was a scary and stressful time for us and her transition was very challenging, but the staff was absolutely amazing! They were so supportive and caring for not only my mother, but for me and my family also. The decision to move your loved one into a facility can be very scary for everyone involved, but they have done a wonderful job of making us more comfortable with all of the changes. They walked me through dealing with the adjustment for her and how to navigate through this difficult decision and to make her transition as good as it could be. They offer plenty of activities and encourage regular participation. They offer structure and a routine that keeps the residents active and engaged which is imperative, especially for those who are cognitively challenged. The facility is always clean and comfortable for anyone who lives there or visits. They offer plenty of support for families with guest speakers and family nights, informational meetings, check ins and assessments to gain input on where they can improve. My mom was in the worst shape of her life when she entered this facility. She is better now than she has been in years! They have given her life again! It’s hard to watch your loved ones decline in health, but the peace of mind they have given us, and the love, respect and wonderful times they have given my mom has been life changing for all of us. They have a wonderful staff who show my mom love and support every day. We could not be more pleased with the facility and the staff who care for my mother. We are so thankful and grateful for all of the wonderful members of the team at The Inn at Walnut Trail!

I have been to the Inn at Walnut Trail multiple times and I cannot get over how beautiful it is! The lady at the front desk, I think her name is Meghan, is always so friendly and helpful and the facility itself is warm, welcoming and so clean and inviting. I would absolutely be comfortable with any of my family members being a resident here.

I had called many assisted living facilities, my dad went downhill and could not live on his own anymore. We were able to get him into their facility quickly. It’s beautiful, staff is friendly and nursing staff is great. My dad also had hospice visits. When he started his final journey to heaven, the staff made sure we had snacks and drinks as we sat with my dad. They were there when he passed , he was not alone at 3:38 am. He was in their memory care unit and all of those workers in that unit truly are special people. It’s sad to see what happens to people with dementia. I highly recommend this facility!

Beautiful facility with staff that enjoy what they’re doing and provide quality care. Our mother was in the memory care unit, and we were very pleased with the services provided to her during her stay. I visited several facilities prior to choosing The Inn at Walnut Trail, and I’m so happy that I chose this place.

Happy environment from the moment you enter the building. Lots of fun activities for everyone to participate in. Staff always willing to help and answer any questions that you may have. Highly recommend a loved one to live here!

What a beautiful facility and home! Very clean & safe. Many amenities for residents to participate. But what puts The Inn at Walnut Trail a 5 star is the staff. From the front to back of house, every single person greets with a smile and ensure you’re being well cared for. I have no regrets placing my mom in their care.

When our grandmother needed memory care, we looked around and found that The Inn at Walnut Trail was the best fit for everyone. Even though grandma has since passed, we still follow them on Facebook. It brings a smile to our faces when we see all of the fun activities that they are constantly doing with their residents. It gives us peace knowing that she was cared for till the very end by people who truly care.

My name is actually Jan Eichensehr. So many people and places only get bad reviews and I want to post a very positive one. During the heart of covid my parents needed assisted living. I looked at so many local places and I chose walnut trail. The care and attention my parents received during that time was beyond ’. My dad passed after 8 months and the care he received in hospice was very comforting and I was treated with love and support. My mom is still living there with good health and sound mind at 97 years old. She loves it there and does not have one compliant. It is the same with me. Over these 3 years I feel like I'm everyone's family. Every request and help my mom has is attended to immediately. I enjoy checking in and checking out at the desk having conversations with Megan who is much more than a receptionist, Molly 1 and Molly 2, Brenda Drew, and the new director Joe, and also the entire nursing staff too many to name. I have learned that not everyone has just one job, everyone helps and if they cant they find someone who can. The Inn has dinners and meetings I attend with my mom. Her room is spotless thanks to Darlene and my mom can't wait to see her. My mom is treated by everyone as a real friend there. I'm the helicopter daughter and I feel at ease with her living there. Also the rent fees are good compared to other places I looked at. It's a small family community. I highly recommend the inn at walnut trail.
February 2024
The Inn at Walnut Trail is WONDERFUL! I moved my parents there because my mother had Alzheimer's and I knew she would eventually need to live in the Memory Care section. She received outstanding care up until her time of passing. My father still lives there and has made friends, loves to make everyone laugh and gives the staff a hard time in a fun way. I've been very pleased with the care and attention he gets, his living conditions are outstanding, he eats well, and he always has something to participate in should he choose to. Whenever I visit it's as though the other residents and staff are my extended family as I always feel so welcome. Choosing The Inn at Walnut Trail was the best decision and I'm so thankful for them.
December 2023
When it was time to move my Dad to a memory care facility I was full of so many different emotions. Molly is SO patiemt, compassionate, reassuring, supportive, knowledgeable and about a million other things to us. I can not say how happy my Dad is, hes been there a year now and loving his life again. The activities in the memory care unit keep his busy, engaged, active, and most of all on a schedule that helps my Dad with his dementia and staying engaged and happy. If I could give The Inn At Walnut Trail a 10 I would. The staff is friendly and takes VERY good care of their residents! I have never had a concern or question that wasn't answered immediately. Two thumbs up from our family to our extended family at The Inn at Walnut Trail!
December 2023
In the fall of 2022 we needed to find an assisted living facility for my Dad who has dementia and significant short term memory loss. My Dad had been in an excellent assisted living facility in Aurora Ohio for 2 years and it was time to move him closer to our home in Westerville. My family and I reviewed a dozen facilities and narrowed it down to 3. We toured those 3 locations and chose to move my Dad into Walnuts Trails in December of 2022. We could not be more thrilled with our decision to move our Dad into Walnut Trails. We found Molly and the entire team to be friendly, helpful and responsive. The staff made our Dad's transition seamless, even as one could imagine, he struggled initially getting used to a new place. The staff learned his needs, made him feel welcome and provided outstanding support throughout 2023. It's now been 12 months since our Dad moved into Walnut Trails and we could not be more thankful for the kind, helpful and caring staff members in every department.

It was a lovely assisted facility. The residents and staff were so comfortable with each other and the care was evident and joy. Santa was impressed too!
November 2022
Very positive experience with Walnut Trail. I needed to find a place quickly for my mom and Molly went above and beyond. She came in on the weekend to show us around, helped with all the paperwork and had my mom moved in within days. The staff is great and the building is beautiful. Very happy we found this place for my momm.

I love living here! The facility is great and very nice! The place is wonderful and the staff is even more wonderful! The food is great and there is a good variety to choose from. We have the best activities here everyday.
April 2021
Each and every staff member took special care of my grandmother with Alzheimer’s. I always knew she was taken care of with love and kindness while she was there.
February 2021
My father spent about 8 months there before his death. I can not say enough about how wonderful his care was. From the management team, to the care givers, to the support staff. They were all wonderful! and I will be forever grateful for how they cared for my dad.
