10 years ago my father was a resident while he was there a new owner came in. It was terrible. The residents were neglected in their rooms. They were put to bed sometimes before they were even finished eating dinner. Several patients died from falls because they would have one aid for 20 residents. They never checked on the patients. There were no activities. Even when a movie was scheduled, they wouldn't play it. They would put residents all together in a room where they couldn't get around, they'd be stuck by their wheelchairs. My father was injured several times. He was once found by guest after he fell out of his chair no one knows how long he was there. I was attacked by a worker screaming at me because I remarked to my sister that it seemed odd they were putting them to bed before some of them finished dinner. One worker said they needed to be put in their rooms because she had to study for a test. She physically grabbed a woman's coffee cup the resident tried to hold on to it. The worker won and lied that the resident could get coffee later in her room. If you have a choice keep your family members far away. Being a self-pay facility you would expect more,. Oh by the way most of the ratings and comments are made up. Did you notice how many 5 star reviews. They mad a review with my father's name on it as if my sister wrote it. At that time the reviews sounded like a first grader. The food is good. The -people are nice. Kemper House is a good place. Pray for those that have no choice. That calendar of activities is not real. They don't even have any puzzles or games. It is a human warehouse.

Symphony is a warm, caring place, and my loved one is treated so well. He has a smile on his face every time I visit him. Symphony has so many activities, and he is enjoying them. I never thought he would participate, but he does!

Just seen this place on news19Cleveland! A caregiver was stealing from an elderly lady! If you have the app called newsbreak. You will see it! Also watch the news! I am not joking, just read it. They didn't even fire the employee? Wow! Be careful folks! We were looking for assisted living there. Luckily I saw this! The employee was caught on a camera they installed in her room going through her purse and belongings!

From the moment of entering Symphony it is welcoming. My loved one has been at Symphony for 18 months. The care team (nurses and aids) are kind and trained to help residents with memory loss. The activities team is exceptional. The dietary team provides healthy, tasty meals that fit the resident and everyone loves dessert. The maintenance team is always friendly and willing to help. Memory loss and memory care are difficult for families and nothing is perfect, but Symphony strives for perfection.

I appreciate the communication and feedback from the staff - Patty who greets my phone calls, Amanda's responsive care, and Christine's communication. I volunteer at Symphony Olmsted Falls assisting with art and craft projects. I have observed nothing but kindness and patience exhibited by the staff as they interact with the residents. The facility is beautiful both inside and out. It is decorated for all the holidays. The resident's artwork is on display all over the facility for the family members, visitors and residents to enjoy. I look forward to the posts on Facebook and Instagram showing the creative activities the residents participate in.

We searched for a place for my Mother-in-Law for months. We wanted a place that seemed more like home for her, than a medical facility. After many visits to other facilities, someone told us about Symphony. We loved the smaller, quiet setting. The fact that they have more of an apartment look. The quaint eating area and enclosed patio for the residents and friends/family. They really care about their patients. I get text messages right away if there's an issue or Kay needs something, or even if she's feeling depressed, they text me to let me know. *The have family events and outings for their residents. *The place is clean and doesn't have that odor other places have. *The visiting hours are longer so you can go after hours if need be. *And the price, they don't gouge you like other places do. *You can take your loved one out for special events, family gatherings or just to the park if you want. I should mention this is an apartment type of setting. So, you do have to provide your loved one's own furniture, diapers and personal needs. But the care they get is amazing. So glad we were sent your way. God bless you all for all your work.

My father is at Symphony at Olmsted Falls for the last 20 months. I can’t say enough how wonderful this place is. My dad is safe , taken care of and in those 20 months neither of us have had one problem. You would think sometime in 20 months you would have some problems. The people are caring and wonderful from the top to the nurses and aids. It feels like family. The meals are good. It is sad when a family member has to leave their home, but Symphony at Olmsted Falls sure makes the transition much easier!

This facility is the Nightmare on Elm Street. They abuse people and many times do not feed them. They put food in front of them and they take it away even though some patients cannot feed themselves. My father was there and we moved him. The saying was if you fall three times, you are dead. They also make up most of the reviews. Isn't it weird that all of the comments on this page gave a 5 star rating? They made up a review and put my sister and my father's name on it. total violation of HIPPA. Be very careful. It is sad that they charge so much for so little. It is all for show.

My mother passed away two months ago but was a resident for 2 1/2 years. Overall the caretakers were kind to my mom with some being exceptional. Chrissy, the Executive Director, is extraordinary. She always listens, is always calm, always takes care of concerns if at all possible. Her management style and communication with families is also stellar. The activity team was very good. Even during COVID, the management staff would set up face time with my mom so we could see how she was doing. I have talked to many people whose facilities would not do that for the families. No facility is perfect but my mom was always dressed, cared for. My siblings and I would recommend Symphony highly. As always, family visits are so important to the resident and engages the staff and caretakers to a higher degree.

My mother has been at Symphony for the last 5 months. My husband and I took care of her in our home for 5 years until it came to the time that we could no longer give her the care she really needed. We didn't really know what expect and it was a huge adjustment for us all. This move to Symphony was the best thing we could have done. Everyone there is compassionate, caring and friendly. Our father, who is 94, has been at Symphony now for 3 months. Absolutely LOVE that he is here. We should have moved him here months ago. The facility is spotless, the care is first class. The residents are all treated with dignity and love. Every single one of the employees, whether Director, Nurse, Aide or Custodian, go out of their way to bring a smile and give care to each and every one of the residents on a daily basis. Family is always kept informed of how a resident is doing and it brings comfort to the family. We could not ask for a better home for our father. He may not be living with us, but he is definitely with family here.

The first time I went in to talked to the staff about bringing my mom there I knew this is the right place for my mom. The staff was very helpful from the start they answered all the questions. It is a memory care place only that also makes it special. So I moved my mom there in January and my mo. Loves it there. EVERYONE ALL THE STAFF MEMBERS ARE SUPER LOVE YOU ALL. And thank you for taking care of my mom. I would recommend mend this place when I get dementia I am putting in my will that is where Im going.

My dad and mom (Charlie Juanita)arrived at Symphony mid August of this year and immediately the staff began loving and caring for my parents. My dad was here 8 weeks before passing but that entire time I couldnt of been more at peace with the care he received. Crossroads Hospice was also amazing! My dad passed October 11, but my mom continues to make Symphony her home. Thank you to each one that has loved on my parents and taken care of them as though they were your own family.
