I love it. I couldn't live in Milford if it weren't for Sem Villa. The staff is committed to the well being of the residents. The grounds are beautiful. Food is great!

My mother lived there for 1.5 years. The staff was amazing and her apartment was perfect for what she needed. We loved visiting her there and the grounds were beautiful!

Many of my family members have had to use rehab or assisted living services here. There no place in the city I would ever take a loved one except SEM.

The facility itself is not bad, its kept clean. As I pulled in to visit the person I know living here I noticed a walker( the type used to help with balance) blocking one of the Handicap parking spots. Once inside I asked about this and the answer I received was that this was normal, the residents often do this to save or as I see it Prevent an other handicapped resident from utilizing the the spot! This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of! Staff is absolutely aware this takes place and apparently are ok with it. Why is it acceptable for the staff to allow this? The person I visit themselves are disabled and have a hard time with walking distances yet must drive past an empty spot blocked by a walker to park way out in general parking and struggle to get into the facility!

My grandfather-in-law lives here and this is one of the most beautiful retirement communities I've ever seen. It doesn't have that hospital-like feel that so many have. It's so pretty and it's comforting to know that they have medical staff on hand if he needs help. He seems so much happier here than at the apartment he was living previously.

I thought that my Mom would never be happy unless she finished her life in HER house but when she started getting Alzheimer's we had no choice but to move her. We moved her into SEMS VILLAGE. At first it was rough because she didn't know anyone. What a difference a few months made. She knows everyone now and you wouldn't be able to move her! She absolutely LOVES Sems Village.The staff and everyone there are wonderful. They really care from the ’!
