The reason I'm giving a 4 is because the rehab staff is awesome. They have got my brother back on his feet. He's still at Legacy because hes still not 100%. My brother is a picky eater and he's being hassled about not eating his food that they bring him, when I bring his food. I talked to the Dietician and I thought he understood but I guess not. I only recommend it for the rehab team. I would like to amend a point on my review. I spoke with the Dietician and fingers crossed, the issue has been resolved.

My family and I moved my mother-in-law to this facility from another facility that was neglecting and abusing her. The amount of hoops we had to jump through just to get paperwork done or to get someone on the phone from the old place was a nightmare. But the Admissions director, Elizabeth, from Legacy was a blessing to us. She helped us and really went above and beyond to help us move my mother to her facility. If it wasn't for her backing us and in our corner we wouldn't have been able to get her out of a dangerous situation and into the peaceful, loving facility that Legacy of Miamisburg is. All the nurses have been so loving and wonderful to my mother but Dottie is our favorite . I hope if you are considering this place it should be at the top of your list! The rooms are spacious and very clean, they have many activities to keep loved ones entertained, and the nurses are so sweet and always timely to assist the patients there. Hope this review helps.

Our mother stayed at Legacy of Miamisburg for a respite visit. She received very high-quality care and service, from every single employee we encountered. Abdou, Angela, Destiny, Dottie, Lisa, Liz, Re Re, Roz, Stevie and Yahaira were all professional and friendly. Our mother's illness makes care very challenging, and the Legacy staff did a great job. EVERY staff person said, "Please let me know if you need anything," and they meant it. I don't think you can fake good service -- you either care or you don't. The Legacy staff was genuine in their wish to provide the very best care for my mother and assistance to our family. We are grateful for their care, service and kindness.

I went for tour today before I move in here .things I would like to say about visit and people and tour I am very impressed about the staff interaction with each other and patients. (Very attentive) Kind words spoken between people "respect" I was shown offices of administrator, social worker, etc can't remember all titles of all of them just shown where to come if I have concerns or need to talk to that person. Walked down hall shown dinning room(s) tv in two private dinning rooms - will accommodate family visiting and joining for meal. Dinning tables all very nice covered with table cloths Can't speak for or about personal care But everything here is heald up to high standards like professionalism across all things going on here. High attention to detail.- environment very pleasant Internet cafe- real nice wood paneling in room just nice rooom period Kept very clean. All questions explained with detail.i mean answers to question's discussion about your proticular concerns. Left feeling heard and received. Once at room I saw very nice clean room as shown online. No bed rails on bed(considered a restraint). So you do have to request them if you need them Just want to say something very important I feel you must know. You have to furnish room with things you need/want that goes for other items as well. Handicapped accessible (HoleBuilding) Shower in bathroom large with side rails Bathroom has everything that basic bathroom has in it. They do have a community shower room you can use also your choice Very inviting Accomidattating to my items such as using my own tv. Every room has tv mounted on wall - cable.-internet- tv there I mean.. Chair in room No smells in halls People in own cloths. Able to move around facility freely unless needing medical assistance by aid or nurse. Inportantant Recently new management

The nurse aides, therapy staff, and DON are great Most of the nurses are good. My biggest gripe is that you can't get anyone to answer the phone "after hours". It's taken up to 1 and 1/2 hours to get someone to answer the phone to check on my husband. My second issue is that the facility doctor changed my husband's medication without consulting his neurologist. EDIT: As it turns out it's not the DON but the Unit Manager/LPN who has really helped us.

I am an employee of legacy miamisburg. It is a beautiful facility. It's one of the nicest facilities I've ever worked in. The rehab rooms are large and it's always clean. The new director of nursing is very hands on and always available as well as the new doctors. The rehab team is exceptional. There are lots of activities for the patients to do through the day and the food is always good.

I have worked at Legacy Miamisburg for almost a year and I see daily how our staff treats the residents. They show our residents with kindness, compassion, and patience. I admitted my grandmother here a few months ago due to an unexpected fall and my family and myself were extremely satisfied with the care and therapy she was given. With that said, we are under new ownership, management, and staffing and I have seen nothing but positive changes! I see a team full of dedication to their residents.

My son came here after having heart surgery for rehab. So far no issues that I have seen. He had had rehab every day since being here except on Sundays. I would not have any problem bringing another loved one to this faculty
