I was happy to represent Turas Hospice today at Broadway Creek's beautiful facility. They have such very nice staff. The whole team was present for their Candyland event open house. It was a lot of fun. It was nice of them to invite the community for this fun event. Their staff and residents seem very happy!

Review of Broadway Creek Assisted Living I had mixed experiences with Broadway Creek Assisted Living when it came to the care of my mom. Her first stay was adequate, but her second stay fell short of expectations. On the positive side, Broadway Creek offers a variety of activities that could be engaging for residents, and there are some truly wonderful staff members who go above and beyond in their roles. However, it's evident that a significant portion of the work is carried by just 20% of the staff, which can affect the overall quality of care. Unfortunately, there were several issues that impacted our experience. We frequently noticed that call lights were not answered in a timely manner, often taking more than 30 minutes. Additionally, the cleanliness of her room was inconsistent and did not meet our standards. One major concern was the nursing administration. Their approach was notably disrespectful, as they not only failed to address or answer my concerns but also tried to project the issues back onto me. This lack of professional communication and accountability was particularly frustrating. If you're looking for a facility with exceptional food, well-maintained accommodations, and reliable on-site services like a hairdresser, it might be worth considering other options. While Broadway Creek does have some strong points, there are significant areas that need improvement.

I have been here for a little over a year and I love it! Everyone is friendly, make you feel welcomed, and work as a team. The residents brighten every day and I feel grateful I get to spend time with them so many wonderful and different people!

My dad was placed in a skilled nursing home and we could not visit him due to covid. Elmcroft allowed us to bring him to their facility and spend as much time with him as we wanted prior to his passing. It was such a comfort for us to be with him and for him to not be alone. My mother has lived there since September. And it is not the most beautiful. No chandeliers! No fancy dining rooms. But I believe they care about their residence. The staff literally think of the residence as family. Lots of the staff have their own family at ElmcrofT. I myself am very thankful for Elmcroft.

In my opinion, the care at Elmcroft Assisted Living in Medina is excellent. My family member has been there for more than two years and we have found the staff to be caring, kind, concerned, warm and professional. I do feel that EVERY assisted living facility is short-handed, but that is often because the Aids in facilities like this are not always long term and seem to move from place to place...so staffing is difficult to stay on top of. The nursing staff is more consistent at Elmcroft. It is very hard work caring for the elderly who have memory problems and the typical incontinence etc etc. All we look for is genuine concern for our loved one and that is happening at Elmcroft from all employees. We highly recommend Elmcroft of Medina if you are looking for a place to care for your loved one.
