I have had the opportunity to work with Stephanie Tuke, Life Enrichment Director, and her staff and volunteers in both a professional and personal capacity for almost ten years. That kind of longevity in this position speaks volumes to her character. I am truly impressed with the gentle and calm manner in which she and others on her team interact with residents. It is really touching to observe that every element of resident care seems to be addressed and the environment is peaceful and welcoming. Smiles on residents faces and toe tapping along to music is a joyful experience. I also see family members who are supported and seem very much at ease. Five stars is really not enough. I'd give them more if I could. Keep up the great work.

This is an exceptional facility, immaculately clean with attention to detail and a culture of love. As musicians, we have had opportunities to visit many different facilities in Greater Cincinnati. This is by far one of the best we've seen. What makes it special is the combination of cleanliness, spaciousness, combined with very kind and caring staff. There is a wide hallway with plenty of places to walk and a large secure outdoor area, which includes a shaded patio. I have taken a walk in the outdoor garden, about 1/4 mile long, with many beautiful flowers. There are two adjoining activity rooms, one that is open with chairs set up for events, and the other with tables for art projects, birthday parties, or daily snacks. The residents are well-kept and happy. Stephanie and her staff provide interesting and stimulating activities throughout the day. Not only do they provide activities with music, trivia, games, snacks and drinks, but the staff show caring toward each resident, patiently and gently re-directing the resident to participate. The residents are treated with dignity, respect, and warmth.

I visited this community and had a wonderful experience. I sat in the waiting room for about 5 minutes and I'm glad I did because I got to witness how the community staff treats people with respect and kindness - including other staff, families, and even the landscape service vendor. I like how much space there is to walk around but that it's still really secure. The team here is really committed and kind. I'd recommend checking this place out.

After many years of stress, arguments, worry, fear for dad etc. my siblings and I finally came the realization that our father was unable to live in his house that our mother and he had built sixty five years ago. With what we already knew, we took him to a specialist who told us that he was no longer able to make reasonable decisions and we had to make decisions for him. He diagnosed him with two types of dementia. Artis was on our list of places to visit. As soon as my sister and I went through Artis we knew it was the place for dad… The only reason I did not give Artis five stars is because every resident there as some form of dementia which can be extremely difficult to deal with but they do the best they can…This is the first time in many years that I have been able to enjoy my father. This time is so precious to me because he is ninety years old. He is now calm, safe and taken care of.

I toured Artis Senior Living in Mason, Ohio for my parent. I was so impressed with the design of the community with small, self-contained neighborhoods that encouraged independence while focused on care and safety. The staff was knowledgeable and had a tremendous caring resident focus. I would highly recommend touring Artis Senior Living in Mason for your family member. Unfortunately, my parent passed away before I could move them to Artis in Mason.

The Life Enrichment Department at Artis keeps things fun and interesting! As Director of Life Enrichment, Stephanie is enthusiastic, passionate, kind, and patient. The activities she plans are well thought out and provide something to celebrate every day. Just ask her what activities she has planned and you will immediately see her enthusiasm on display. It's a pleasure to see Stephanie engage with residents; increasing their involvement and fun. It is obvious she cares about those she serves and has a knack for bringing joy to others. The Life Enrichment Department does an outstanding job of providing enjoyment to its residents through creative activities and experiences.

If you only read one review of Artis, please let this be it. I am a volunteer at Artis with my Therapy Dog, Stevie. We visit twice a month and the residents truly love and enjoy our visits. We always feel so welcome and appreciated, whether it be from the administration, the medical staff, and of course the residents. I feel as though I have so much more experience with facilities such as this, either from having a family member in a memory care facility or seeing it as a volunteer. First and foremost, this is the best run facility I have ever been into, it is super clean (someone is always cleaning). The residents are happy, engaged with the staff, and entertained. The staff members seem to enjoy the Therapy Dog visits as much as the residents do. My Therapy Dog is happy here and loves making everyone happy and smile. I think it just makes everyone's day just a little bit better, because who doesn't love petting a puppy? So very often facilities just get patients fed, dressed and just park them in their rooms watching tv all day. That NEVER is the case here… Stephanie, the Activity Director schedules activities for the patients throughout the day. They are always doing something special to keep the residents happy and engaged, such as visiting museums, having special guest visitors, they have outings for ice cream, lunches, etc. The residents are truly happy and extraordinarily well cared for. Stevie and I are proud to be part of their volunteer team and always look forward to our Artis day. I only wish I could give more than 5 stars !

This place is incredible! My mom went in with severe paranoia, barely getting out of bed because of her fears. After 3 months in Artis she was out of bed by 8, eating all three meals in the dining room, attending all the activities, and interacting with people. I completely attribute this turnaround to the excellent staff at Artis, the engaging programming, and the whole overall set up of the facility. The smaller neighborhoods help my mom feel safe and the attention from the staff helped her to step out of her comfort zone. I would recommend this place to anyone!

It's impossible to single out any caregiver or staff member at Artis for their extraordinary care and compassion for my wife of 54 years. All have been some of the warmest and kindest people on the planet. I truly cherish each and every one. From the ever present multi-hat Erica and Ronda, to Sarah who keeps my wife (and I) on track with health concerns and the "Reading" gal who provides the link to home and family. All of that would miss the incredible activity staff and 2 of the most incredible people I have ever had the pleasure to know. Anyone who has ever had to endure a memory care environment knows how difficult it is to keep residents engaged and this team at Artis is superb by any definition. Don't know how they do it while keeping a smile on their face and compassion in their hearts day after day. And maybe the most vital staff members of all are the hands on (quite literally) caregivers like Vidi and her housekeeping team and the nurses like Tammy and Ebony who keep my wife happy and content and safe. Bryan, recently joined Artis and inherited a spectacular team and he's already made a significant leap forward and I am personally honored to know him. Another hands on guy who's managed to engage each and every team member and each and every resident along with all of their families. Truly can't imagine how he's doing it but I'm super happy he's come to Artis. As I said originally, it's impossible to single out any one team member at Artis and I've missed a dozen people who make like worth living for my wife. All I can do is let them all know that I thank each and every one from the bottom of my heart.

My mother is in the Artis Senior Living in Mason Ohio. Her guardian has been trying to keep her children and her sister away from her. He has now established visiting hours in a two hour timeslot twice a day. That is the only time that we are allowed to go in to see her. I cannot believe that Artis would go along with something like this when all she wants is her family with her.

Admitting your loved ones needs 24hr care is so hard. I tried caring for my mom during the covid pandemic and found it heartbreaking and depressing. Artis is the best home for my mom who struggles with Alzheimers-dementia. Knowing my mom is safe and cared for is a huge relief for me and my family. The staff love her and really seem to know her after only a couple months. They have a lot of opportunities for socializing. Communication is always timely and professional. I would recommend Artis for anyone who has a loved one living with Alzheimers-dementia.

The talented and experienced leadership and professional staff at Artis of Mason work hard every day to make Artis a very high quality place for memory care. Low employee turnover means your person will benefit from a professional and peaceful atmosphere. The nursing and care partner staff provide expert and very thoughtful care. The chefs team makes delicious food and work to create special events with the life enrichment team. From outdoor lunches in the summer to holiday lights tours to activities that are obviously based on the profiles of each person...if someone loves Doris Day or fishing, you can see on the calendar there is an activity based on that interest. From experience, I can tell you that fancy interior décor is nothing to a person with dementia and the skill of the professionals who care is everything!

The communication I get is fantastic, and I always feel like I know how my mom is doing. And, she has started to take part in activities. If you know my mom, you know that this is practically a miracle. The ONLY way she would ever do this, is if she felt welcome, and like she was around nice people. They also have events that family members can take part in. I cant say enough, I really cant. It is really the perfect fit for my mom. Oh - have to add, that they have a beautiful and SAFE outdoor area that the residents can spend time in. We love this part!

My mother, Jane, has been a resident at Artis Senior Living since Feb. of 2017. Knowing that she is safe and well-cared for by a caring, competent staff has definitely given me peace of mind. Care is tailored to her individual personality and life experiences. The food there is delicious and she is eating more than she has in some time.
