Our grandmother has been staying at Summit Point for over a year now and the staff is really great to deal with. The facility is well-kept and has a great feel to it. She really enjoys the activities and games they offer for the residents. She was really worried about living at an assisted facility, but has grown to love it. If you're looking for a good place, I recommend Summit Point!

My partner and I have been coming here once or twice every week for the past few months to visit his grandma. We bring our dogs with us and we always have a nice time. We setup Netflix on her TV and enjoy watching baking competition shows together. The staff is very friendly and I have yet to have a negative experience. Can't recommend it enough!

My dad moved to Summit Point in December of '22. He was very apprehensive about moving into an independent living apartment after living in his own home for over 65 years. He was afraid his place was going to feel too small even before he had seen it. He now often tells me how big it feels. It took only a few weeks before he started telling how much he likes the place. The staff is friendly, attentive and caring. He has made many acquaintances and loves the conversation with his new friends. He likes the food and the service in the dining hall! Summit Point is located near many stores, restaurants, drug stores and many medical facilities, which makes it easy to go out and get whatever you need. My wife and I highly recommend Summit Point to anyone who is looking for a quality, reasonable facility that caters to residents and family members!

Summit Point has been a life-saver in getting our cousin of 84 through the Covid-19 years. I spent a lot of time interviewing and viewing the near- by accommodations. My first criterion was this. If I would not live there the day I was viewing the place with my younger, mature- age, she would not either as a choice. She came from a four story home off the Potomac River in Old Town, Virginia. I wanted an outstanding quality of life environment, which included the following: a hair salon; a physical therapy center; good looking dining room with choices of food to meet taste and health concern; choices of apartments with one bedroom or two including a living room and possible dining room adjusted area along with a full kitchen(even dishwasher) or partial kitchen; a closet to house her own washer and dryer; and options for getting different levels of nurse care, dentist care, or doctor care in a fast way. You could add a few hours of another agency if you wish. You will view other living room areas to enjoy along with activity rooms to use if your family needs more room. Options were open to any possibility with good communication to help you, guide you, and give you options to think about at all levels of help needed as one ages and health issues demand more decisions to be made for our loved one(s). Transportation options are there on request, and a heated car garage is available, if your loved one is still driving. This establishment has the appearance of a grand hotel that first welcomes you in a huge living room setting with a warm and friendly atmosphere. You will note this feeling throughout Summit Point. Yes, all the holidays are noted with a touch of related decorations throughout the building using good interior touches. In almost three years, I have never noted a maintenance problem not completed neatly and appropriately. Amazing! The staff has assisted us in more ways than I would ever have expected. It is a home. It is a safe haven for your loved one(s). If you wish, Summit Point makes it a one-stop place to meet all the needs for the rest of your loved ones life. You make the choices from the many options. When the question on where to place my grandfather with failing health and dementia came to be, the answer was easy. We chose Summit Point. The care he received from the nurses, aids, housekeeping and kitchen staff was amazing. The directors worked with us to make this a financial possibility. They were very knowledgeable of the benefits my grandpa could get being a veteran. This was a huge help! The building is beautiful and the apartments are of a neutral pallet so you can decorate the way you want to make your loved one feel more at home. Summit Points staff took phenomenal care of grandpa and for that, Im thankful! This is a group of good people! We all know how hard it is to find good people these days. Look no further than summit point to take care of your loved one!

Need a facility for both of my parents. What a wonderful facility. My parents started in an apartment, Independent living. As their health started to decline my father moved to assisted living before his passing and Mom moved into their Cottages, (Memory Care Facility). The staff is very friendly, accommodating and caring. When emails are sent, you get emails with answers in return. They have bent over backwards during COVID and helped us with zoom meetings so we can at lease see Mom on a weekly basis. I highly recommend Summit Point. Prior to COVID, the activities director Toni and her assistant Bailey, always have something happening for the residents. Crafts, movies, music, cards, you name it it was happening. Jen at the front desk is a gem also. Need to drop something off, she is your go to person. Like I said before, I highly recommend Summit Point. They have handled the COVID issue perfectly!!!

My mom moved to Sumit Point in April 2019 and even with Covid and the restrictions it requires mom has LOVED it. She feels safe and very well cared for and considers the staff family. So far so good. My grandmother just moved in and seems much happier than the previous place. I havent been there as Im out of state but she says its cleaner and newer than the last place. Will update in a few months if things change.

Summit point is a fantastic senior retirement community with staff longevity. I work in a skilled nursing facility and i do not hesitate to refer families to summit point. Everyone is friendly and caring and they keep their residents busy with all of there creative activities!
