This is a very very nice place: new (7 years old), modern, reasonable and humanistic layout, fresh air inside(no stink smell); There are big public places such as the dining room, lobby, etc. The price is reasonable for people seeking long term care (but we are seeking short term care, we don't want to bring any furniture to any place, except clothes and medications), who need to take their furniture to their own room. The food is good but the dessert is too sweet, I wish there were more vegetables being able to provide. We can hear lots of automobile noises in some rooms next to i270. In fact, I highly recommend this community to others who are seeking long term care. And at the same time, if this community can provide some flexible provisions for its customers such as arranging two or three rooms with furniture and a low community fee for seeking short term care people, that will be very good.

In this year of Covid we can hardly call our visit a tour! Thats unfortunate as all guidelines related to choosing a facility are geared toward personal observation of the facility, staff and residents. We will be making our selection this year in the dark not having the benefit of personal observation. These survey responses reflect our inability to even walk through the front doors!

I recently toured the facility and was impressed with the cheerful atmosphere, cleanliness and the apparent professionalism. My family and I have elected to keep my mother closer to family in North Carolina, but we would have definitely pursued this option if circumstances were different.

As an outside provider to this facility I have to say I have been impressed with the facilities and the care my patients have received. The staff on the Memory Care unit as well as the staff in the AL have always been attentive and responded quickly to the needs of my patients and I have never had a family complain to me about the care their loved one received. I would recommend this facility to my own parents! The decor is up to date and very comfortable and the facility has always been clean! The staff are friendly and attentive! The actvities provided to the residents are appropriate for their level of care . The rooms are spacious ! The meals are good with a nice variety!

My father resided at the Manse for just about a year. He hated the idea of ever going into such a place - but the Manse met and exceeded his expectations and mine. It was a first-rate operation in all respects - from the management to the everyday staff. The Manse staff treats residents with care and respect - I would recommend this place to seniors and their families.

Hilliard Assisted Living and Memory Care has been a blessing to our family. My mother and father moved there in July 2016 and we were so happy with their experience there, that we moved my father in law in from Florida in November. One of my first impressions of HAL was how beautiful it is. When describing it to others I found myself just repeating that it looks like a Disney resort. We have been impressed with how well taken care of it is and how they go to extra lengths to decorate it for special occasions. The size of the rooms is very generous for this type of facility. Mom and dad have a one bedroom and it is big enough that they could bring many things from home. I am convinced that having room to bring so many of their treasures helped them to adjust to their new home more quickly. The management always has a kind word to say and they encourage you to share if something is not quite right. They have been quick to help when we didnt understand a bill and are always good at listening whatever the subject may be. The aides come pretty quickly when called and the nurses have been very helpful. My mother prefers not to go on outings, but I have been quite impressed with all the activities and outings that are available and that many choose to take advantage of. The theatre is right across the hall from their room and my dad has enjoyed watching the Buckeyes play there. Ive seen it crowded with people watching Americas Funniest Home Videos or some enjoying movies on other evenings. The popcorn there is a nice touch too. The Bistro is my three year old granddaughters favorite place to go with my mom and dad. There is usually fruit, pastry and a sweet treat as well as coffee, water and hot chocolate. The fireplaces throughout the buliding make it feel very inviting and there is a puzzle table by one of the fireplaces. My mom is a great cook and she has enjoyed Prime Rib Saturdays in the Dining Room. If she doesnt care for the main offering at a meal, there are always other items that are available. Her routine is to eat Breakfast, exercise in the exercise room with my dad, then skip lunch and go for dinner. The dining room is also a great place where we enjoyed a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner for 9 of our family. The food that night was amazing and it was special that we could all be together for that and also a family Holiday gathering a few weeks later. My dad plays accordian and loves music, so the frequent entertainers that they bring in have been really great for him. The staff is really sweet to come and remind them too, that someone is playing downstairs. I was looking for a place close to our home (near the Tuttle Mall) that had Assisted Living and Memory Care because my dad has dementia and and may need residential services someday. The Memory Care side is every bit as inviting as the rest of the building. They have a beautiful patio with an outdoor fireplace and seating. I was impressed that each room had a front porch with a comfy chair and a shadow box where I could put mementos for my father in law. People are engaged and seem happy when I have been there. When my father in law moved in, everyone in the living room perked up to welcome him. I hadnt seen that before in other memory care facilities. I looked at several places and was happy with another one, then saw the sign that they were breaking ground for HAL. The timing worked out and this place opened just as mom and dad decided they needed to move out of their home. Hilliard Assisted Living has been an answer to prayer as I truly feel that they have treated our parents not as residents, but as family. My praise goes out to the Spectrum team who hired the management team here, down to all those who work to make this a truly special place. Sharon Cadwallader

Dignity, respect and compassion. For me three very important words used to describe how my father was treated by the wonderful caregivers and staff at the Hilliard Assisted Living and Memory Care facility. Very late in my father's remarkable life he became in need of 24 hour professional care. I am so thankful I discovered Hilliard AL and MC as I couldn't have asked for, or found, a better facility for him. The level of care he received was top-notch but he truly was treated with dignity, respect and compassion which I know he greatly appreciated as did I.

Hilliard Assisted Living & Memory Care is simply the best in every way! Excellent services, top-notch care, but most importantly, absolutely wonderful people. This place was an answered prayer for our parents. Affordable, yet spacious and beautifully decorated, this facility quickly felt like home for Mom and Dad. They rave about the food choices and the new friends they have made. And we have peace of mind knowing that they are safe and secure in their new home!

Working at Walnut Village of Anaheim, CA is the best job I have ever had. 🙂 I have learned how to be a part of the team. Working there is a huge blessing to me. I have made a lot of friends there, who makes me put a smile on my face. I will cherish this job for as long as I live. 🙂 My friends are very special to me. The servers are very kind to me and I love each and every one of them. 🙂 The dishwashers ( Caleb Gambill, Sirilo Martinez, and Justin Muniz) are also very special to me, too.
