I really appreciated all the assistance they gave us in getting grandma all set up in her new apartment! The staff are very kind and helpful. The building is a very nice place. We love the family welcoming!!

We had to move my mother and father-in-law into Oakley Place as emergency move-ins from a different state. The management team was very understanding, concerned for our family and very helpful. The process went much more smoothly than I expected. My in-laws did not want to leave their home. Now my mother-in-law says she feels very safe and loved every time we visit. She now wishes she would have agreed to move sooner. The caregivers have been amazing, always kind and helpful. Her call button was not working this week. I walked out to ask the caregiver if the alarm went off. The maintenance man overheard me from the other room. He immediately got up and asked about it. He then replaced her batteries immediately. We have been more than pleased with the care that my mother and father-in-law have been receiving at Oakley Place.

I was pleased with my loved one's respite care there. As we transitioned from home care to a facility, they were a great stop gap in between. I was especially impressed when the staff recommend that my loved one might do better at a facility with a dedicated memory care unit. That showed a lot of integrity to value the residents' well being over money. Highly recommend.

My grandpa has been living here for a little over a year now, and I can honestly say it’s been one of the best decisions our family has ever made. Every time I visit him, he seems genuinely happy, relaxed, and cared for ” and that means the world to us. The staff treats him like he’s part of their own family. They’re patient, kind, and always willing to go the extra mile, whether it’s helping him get around, making sure he’s comfortable, or just sitting with him to chat. I’ve watched them interact with other residents too, and the amount of respect and compassion they show is something you don’t see everywhere. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with real care and dignity, I can’t recommend this place enough.

My sister is a current resident. She has dementia and it is such a relief to know she is living in a facility that I trust to take care of her when I can not be there. She and her husband moved here from Michigan and had the very best of care for both of them until his passing with Parkinson disease. One of the nursing staff noticed he was not doing well and called his hospice team in so he could get the immediate help he needed. We spent several hours with him during his passing and all the staff were there to support the family and were quick to express sympathy for his loss and share some sweet stories about him. They were residents of another assisted living facility in Michigan and the treatment there was nothing like Oakley. I could never get a phone call answered or an email responded to, here I have 24 hour contact if it is needed. Very special people work there and work to make their residents feel at home. So glad I found Oakley for my family

Oakley Place has been my father's home for the past two years. We are treated like family and the care is great. Like any other facility sometimes it is short staffed, but whomever is on duty does his/her best to complete the job needed at any particular time. The ambiance is welcoming and the hallways are wide so it doesn't seem like an institution. I would recommend Oakley Place to family and friends.

The staff at Oakley Place has been exceptional with my sister-in-law! She has some disabilities and the staff is very good with her. Even though she doesn't call them by their correct names. They are willing to help her with anything she needs. The staff is also willing to call my husband and I to let us know when there is a medical issue. They are so kind and patient with the residents that I have seen them interact with.

Oakley Place is a Warm place where you feel at home once you enter. The staff is nice & caring. The place is warm & friendly. The Cook Cody is super friendly & helpful. The nurse Courtney is professional,sweet & very helpful in the care for My Mom. We love her. The Aids are helpful when assisting in any care needed for My Mom. Cairrie the director of training is a very special lady both to me & my Mom. She lovesher & she is the best. Sandy Baker is a Great manager & she works hard to meet the needs of the residents & families.
