After nearly 10 years of caring for my mother with dementia in our home, we reached the difficult realization that she needed more support than we could provide. We searched for a place that felt like a home”not an institution”but struggled to find the right fit. Then we found Our Home! Within five minutes of our first visit, we knew it was different. The community is incredibly clean, beautifully decorated, and, most importantly, the residents are genuinely cared for. What stood out the most was how warm and welcoming everyone was. The residents immediately made my mom feel like she belonged. We started with the adult day program, which was fantastic. From there, we tried respite care before making the decision to move her in permanently. Every step of the way, the staff has been compassionate, supportive, and attentive. The daily activities keep residents engaged and active, the nursing assistants are wonderful, and Heather, Shannon, and the entire nursing team have been exceptional in helping us navigate my mother's changing medical needs. The food is outstanding, and they even have a weekly happy hour, which adds such a fun, social touch. Knowing my mom is safe, engaged, and truly cared for has given our family tremendous peace of mind. We couldn't be more grateful for everyone at Our Home, and we wholeheartedly recommend this community to anyone looking for compassionate memory care.

We put my mom in here about 6 weeks ago, this place is the best. They have friendly & knowledgeable staff that takes great care of the residents. There are lots of activities for the residents to participate in daily.my mom enjoys staying busy. I love that they have a Dr for her medical needs and physical therapy. It makes things very convenient for the family to not have to worry about transportation. I have been there many different times during the day and evening, the staff is always pleasant and seem to love what they do. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, definitely go check this one out!!!

I have held many conversations with most of the staff as well as the recreational staff. My mother’s needs have always been met by the staff and any concerns I have had about how she is doing has always been answered.

A relative has lived there for over a year now. The offer a variety of choices to use at additional cost but I found them useful...signing up for the doctor; the pharmacy, other personal private type plans. They have thought of everything a resident might need for their convenience and their family caregivers. The meals provided are good. They provide great daily activities and some weekly outings. The staff are pleasant, efficient, friendly and professional. When on vacation, I don't worry that my relative will not be taken care of. It was an excellent choice by myself and my loved one. If you are a military veteran, a group was just started specifically for them to meet.

My mom and her twin love living here they have made great friends and the staff are wonderful to them and love them like there own family pricing is great I was an stna for 20 yrs at hospital I wouldn't choose any other living facility for my loved ones this is the best place in the area if looking for a place for a loved one please check out our Home Fairborn you won't find a better place for you loved ones. I had to move my 94-year-old father into assisted living, but I live in Ohio and needed to do everything very quickly when his condition was deteriorating quickly. The staff made things go as smoothly as possible under the circumstances, and my dad seems to be very well cared for. The facility is lovely and I'm happy that my dad has ended up here at Our Home Fairborn. ---- Update: My dad passed away in December of 2024 after a long but expected decline. Again, the staff at Our Home was always caring and responsive. I highly recommend this facility to any family who needs someone to take care of an elderly family member.

Our Home Fairborn has been our mother's residence since mid-November 20, 2023, and our family has been very pleased with the care and love she has been provided. All the staff (from aides-nursing-kitchen-social activities-maintenance-administrative-management-etc) has been top notch and resident-family oriented. Our Home Fairborn treats mom like family and with the utmost respect which we so very much appreciate. We are very pleased with the care mom receives living at Our Home Fairborn.

The best experience we have had with an assisted living facility taking care of my father. Staff is friendly and helps with everything we ask for or need. My father has been in two facility before this one, and I can say that Our Home has been by far the best.

Staff are patient and kind with the residents. We’ve come in at various times (day and evening) to visit my father. You’ll see the same care even when the staff doesn’t know you're watching. So, you don’t have to worry about how your family member is being treated when you’re not there. We feel extremely good about choosing the memory care unit at Our Home for my dad.

My Uncle ALWAYS paid all his bills and more than one in our family would send him mail and he was NOT getting it. I have cards that I sent as far back as October 2022 being returned to us. Insanity. Tried to call and go put on hold and well not easy to connect. Got a Valentines card returned just yesterday. Would like someone to get back with me on this. My cousin in Columbus Ohio had the same thing happen as me. Very frustrating and dissatisfied.

I have been totally amazed at the love and care my mother received at Fox Run. We transferred her there from another assisted living facility, and the difference was amazing. She began to improve immediately, and it brought tears to my eyes to see the love and devotion of the nurses, aides, dining room staff and management. I can't recommend Fox Run high enough. Please check them out before you make what might be a big mistake.

Absolutely outstanding staff (Kim, Eva, Sarah)!! The property is idyllic and well maintained. The inside is always clean and well staffed. But the most important part is my grandmother loves her time there and is well taken care of. During this frustrating pandemic, they take extreme measures to coordinate safe visits and go above and beyond to ensure everyone stays healthy. I don’t have enough kind words. Thank you for all you do!
