This is my second stay here and I want to say that everyone here at the Sanctuary are ,professional, caring, knowledgeable and truly care about their patients wellbeing. My stay here is about six weeks and they make sure that I have my medication on time,my physical therapy, my room is clean every day and the staff here, including the HR department the nurses, the assistance, housekeeping, and physical therapy are great. My room is nice and large and I have beautiful views from both windows. I highly recommend the sanctuary at Tuttle for yourself or family members!

Had to visit a friend. Seemed like a nice place. FYI to visitors. The Google Maps may not work properly by clicking on the address link. May have to Copy and Paste the exact address. When I used the link, Google Maps sent me several minutes south to an industrial park.

My husband spent the last two months of his life here. I will be forever thankful that it was with such a caring and knowledgeable staff, all the way from the front office to the bedside. When I was not there I was comfortable to know that he was being very well cared for. Thank you to the nurses, aides, management, all staff.

My father spent the last 3 month of his life in the Skilled and Intermediate Nursing Care section of the Sanctuary At Tuttle Crossing. Previously he had lived in many Assisted Living and Nursing homes. The Sanctuary At Tuttle Crossing was the best place he ever resided. This place was amazing and I am very thankful he could experience it. Here are some reasons: 1 - Most staff seemed to be full time employed at this location. Experience at previous Nursing Homes seems to have many more temporary people taking care of the patients (just there for the day). I visited pretty much every day and always saw the same staff working. Very consistent. 2 - The Staff was top notch and went above and beyond. They were kind and truly cared for my father. I was surprised how much care they provided for someone who just arrived. Good example is one of the nurses paid for him to have a haircut out of her own pocket the day the hair lady was there. Kind acts like that are not so common. 3 - It seemed that everything was by the book. Whatever rules were there, they were followed closely. An example is my father would complain about having to get out of bed and into a wheelchair everyday. They got him out of bed pretty much every day, which was great for his health. This same type of structure did not seem to exist with my previous Nursing Home experience. 4 - The rooms were nice. They were much better than previous Nursing Home rooms I experienced. Each occupant (2 per room) each had their own window. Previous Nursing Homes only had 1 window and only 1 of the 2 residents could be located next to it. The windows also looked out over a park nearby which was very peaceful. Overall this place exceeded my expectations.

My Mother was well taken care of and was part of a community when she was at The Sanctuary. Knowledgeable staff, clean facility, active schedule for residents. They really care about their residents!

My first time experiencing this facility was last year when my mom had to go there for rehab and have to say it was a very pleasant experience and my mom connected with the staff really well. They all treated my mom with respect and was very supportive with her as she suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. Now she is a resident of their assisted living in which she is still receiving good care as well as the staff treating her with respect and compassion. I’m very over protective about my mother and under no circumstances would I allow her to reside in any facility that wasn’t meeting her needs or providing her with the care she needs.

My dad was a resident at the sanctuary for quite a long time and the people that worked there were very compassionate and caring and always kept us informed of any important info that we needed to know. We lived close to there and visited a lot and Dad enjoyed being there and made some wonderful friends along the way. He is no longer with us but they took very good care of him towards the end of his life. Thank you to the staff and the residents for being so kind to my dad.

My mother received wonderful care while at The Sanctuary. Everyone on her care team and the administration were sincere, professional, and attentive.

My partner spent his final days at The Sanctuary where he received staff support and hospice care. The staff was excellent in meeting his needs and assisting the family through this transition phase of life. I found them to be caring and highly professional. I did not worry if I couldn’t be there 24/7 because I knew good people were caring for him. The nursing team was top notch especially Mary who offered me emotional support throughout our time there. In this field, finding staff who honestly care can be difficult. I never doubted the sincerity and caring of the team at Sanctuary. Thank you all for being there for us.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional care my grandmother received at The Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing. My grandmother was in the long term section and from the moment we walked through the door, the staff made us feel like family. Every individual, from the nurses to the administrative team, genuinely cared about her well-being, and it was evident in every interaction. The environment was warm, welcoming, and well-maintained, which instantly put both my grandmother and our family at ease. What stood out most was how attentive and compassionate the caregivers were. They took the time to get to know her, ensuring that her specific needs were met with patience and understanding. It was clear that they go above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable and valued. I also appreciated the open communication”whenever I had questions or concerns, the staff was always available to discuss them in detail. It’s rare to find a place where the staff truly treats the residents with the same love and respect they would their own family members, and I am so thankful for the peace of mind that this facility has given us. I wholeheartedly recommend The Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing to anyone looking for a caring, thoughtful, and dedicated team to look after their loved ones. My grandmother was in great hands, and for that, my family and I are incredibly thankful.

My daughter was only here for a few days before she died. The care was excellent. The staff was very responsive and when one turned on the call light it only took a few minutes for a response. There was one nurse, Mary, that was so helpful in arranging Hospice care and taking care of things in general. The building was kept clean.

It is a smaller facility but the staff are very warm. When I came in I saw the Staff them talking with the residents engaging with them. Some places look super fancy but only feel cold. I saw residents smiling and laughing when talking to the staff. That is a major plus in my book

My mother recently stayed for a week of respite care. The facility was extremely clean and the staff were very kind to her. I would recc this to everyone.
February 2017
My mother spent almost a month here in the Skilled Nursing section of The Sanctuary after a heart attack. Then later, when my father needed a skilled nursing facility after a stroke, we made sure to request The Sanctuary again since our previous experience was so good. The rooms are really nice with a microwave and refrigerator, there are pictures on the walls, and it is like a little mini apartment. Very cozy. The staff is very caring and wonderful to deal with and have patiently dealt with my many questions each time. Everyone we have dealt with so far - nurses, aids, PT's, OT's, dietitians, the Social Worker, Activity staff, even the cleaning staff - have been really nice. Perhaps the previous review was poor in part because of patient confidentiality. I don't think they are allowed to say whether a certain person is there or not. But I'm not sure. But they definitely should not have hung up on someone. The visiting hours are rather short but if you have family there, those hours are not enforced. We can visit pretty much anytime within reason. My experience with both parents there at different times has been really good and I highly recommend this facility. I checked out several others and just don't feel that any others even come close to comparing.
