I cannot say enough wonderful things about this assisted living facility. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much the staff genuinely care about the residents. Every employee I’ve interacted with has been kind, patient, compassionate, and incredibly attentive. It truly feels like one big family here. The facility itself is always clean, welcoming, and full of warmth, but what really makes this place special is the people. The staff go above and beyond every single day to make residents feel comfortable, respected, and loved. It’s rare to find a place where the care feels so genuine and personal. And the food deserves its own review because WOW ” absolutely phenomenal. The meals are fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. It’s honestly better than food from a lot of restaurants. You can tell real effort and care go into everything they serve. If you are looking for a place where your loved ones will be treated with dignity, kindness, and compassion, I would recommend this facility a thousand times over. Truly an amazing place with amazing people.

My father has lived at the Inn for close to a year. The whole entire admission process was amazing. The facility is always clean and decorated to a holiday theme. The staff have all gone above and beyond, from the nurses, aides, activities and kitchen. They have all exceed our expectations. Highly recommend The Inn at Northwood in Dover.

Had a good time playing Bunny Bingo with my parents! A lot of people showed up and the organization of the activities department was amazing! The Easter Bunny walking around made everyone smile, had a lot of fun! Can't wait to see what's planned next!

My grandparents absolutely love living here! It’s so beautiful, the facility is always clean. It’s like family, you’re always greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. The activities include family members as well, tonight we played bunny bingo and it was so much fun to be able to enjoy this activity with my grandparents!

We attended the Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations at Northwood and We had a great time with wonderful food . Steve played his guitar and filled the room with Christmas and Christian music .Greg was a hit drawing his caricatures for us, he’s very talented. Fun time for all!

My Dad spent his last few days of his life in hospice at The Inn at Northwood Village. I can't even say in a words how much wonderful care he was given. As much as I wanted him to be at home I couldn't have chosen a better place for him to be. Amy and her staff were the AMAZING!!

We moved my grandmother here a year or 2 ago. She is very happy here and has nothing but compliments about both the facility and staff. She is enjoying the activities, food, and company that she is around daily as well. We also have peace of mind knowing she is taken care of when we can't be there. Moving her here has been a wonderful decision for her and the family thus far

The Inn at Northwood Village in Dover Ohio has been great, Not only thru the covid epidemic and flu epidemic and sometimes being short staffed but they've made everyday feel like a normal day and did a fantastic job at hiding the stresses of the daily jobs from the residents and families quite well making them feel safe and welcomed no matter the situation! They have some of the best staff possible that really make the residents and their families feel at home. Let's not to forget to mention a shout out to the kitchen personal for always going above and beyond to put out well presented home cooked meals and going about and beyond during holidays and special events happening at the Village!

My parents lived at The Inn at Northwood Village for almost 3 years before they had to move into a skilled nursing facility. Moving them out when their health declined and needed more than assisted living was harder than ever. Northwood was their home. They loved living at Northwood and wished they could have stayed. When we moved them in I had no doubt they would do well and get great care. My mom was a social butterfly and she made friends with everyone that walked through the doors. She met so many new people and also reunited with others that she knew that also come to live there. She had a great time participating in the many daily activities available and having her days there filled with happiness and friendships. The staff were wonderful to both of them. The nursing staff made sure their medical needs were taken care of and the aides not only assisted them with their needs but also became like family to them. Meal times were my dad's favorite. They both enjoyed the food and tasty desserts made by the wonderful dietary staff. The servers were also like family to my parents. Mom loved to talk with them during meal times and keep them on their toes. Their rooms were always kept clean and laundry was done for them. The building is absolutely beautiful and the staff is attentive and caring. I would recommend anyone to have their loved one join this assisted living community.

Great facility, and wonderful staff. Management did an excellent job explaining financial breakdowns so we knew upfront what to expect. Facility offers regular and innovative activities for the guests, and staff is always on-hand and very friendly/knowledgeable. Highly recomend Northwood for you family and loved ones!

Have recommended this facility to both family and friends. Aging is tough enough. When you cannot live alone anymore this is a nice place to share your life journey with others. Many activities available and I have been told the food is good too.

I cannot say enough good things about this assisted living home. My grandmother had a stroke and was at a horrible rehab facility where we were certain she was going to die. When we reached out to the Inn at Nortwood they had her transferred within days and she immediately started thriving again. The staff is amazing they got her to eat out in the common area and encouraged her to participate in activities with other residents and now she has made friends she seems so much happier and her health has drastically improved. Not to mention the place is gorgeous, large rooms, tons of fun things in the common areas we love visiting and having parties for her there with her new friends. The inn at Nortwood literally saved her life, we are forever grateful!

Put Mother in there on 30 june, expecting the care everyone says is wonderful. haven't been able to contact MOM since 1July. They didn't tell me when she was admitted that her room did not have access to any visiting areas do to COVID. Everyone else seems to be able to at least look through a window at their loved one. I am really REALLY disappointed. Mom has a cell phone she used one time to call me at home to tell me she didn,t have the call button for a nurse, I had to call the INN from home and tell them MOM was thirsty and had to go to the bathroom. I provided a night stand for her to pace a water bottle and her cell phone on -- they put it on the other side of the room ---- haven't heard a word from mom since. They lied about moving her bed so she could at least see out when they don't have her drugged enough . When admitted I gave some instructions about her care to the head nurse and that all went in the trash a couple hours later. So it seems the place is under NO adult supervision/ leadership. Today I left messages for them to call me ----no response --- I hope they let me know if Mom gets worse so I can bust in there and say good bye. My frustration is growing -- now I guess I will pull her out of that place so I can care for her properly. What a mess. Today 3july ,called The Inn 3 times to make an visitation appointment . They said they would call me back 3 times --- just called 4 times, no response .

Thanks so much for taking good care of my grandfather. He really likes the food and never leaves the table hungry. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great activities available for the patients to attend in the assisted living. A beautiful facility that has a lot to offer.

As a past resident, I would NOT recommend this facility! There are NO activities for able-bodied and able-minded people, the staff is not friendly and though the breakfasts are very good, other meals lack taste and nutrition. Although it may look good one the outside, the interior management and organization needs attention.

The most important thing I can say is I feel my father is safe and cared for in a personal and professional manor. The surroundings are lovely but most importantly the staff does not work a job. Each staff member shows this through daily interactions with residents and their families.

When I visited the facility I felt the amenities were top notch. They have a beauty shop, theater room, laundry service, Ice cream parlor, dining room and all the amenities you could want for a loving family member. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. The rooms are nice sized and very clean. They have activities that keep the residents engaged in and active. They have a very nice courtyard for the residents to get outside as weather permits. The residents have a very comfortable lifestyle with all their new friends their own age around them. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a home for their family member.
