Walnut Creek Campus – Reviews
April 2023
The Suites at Walnut Creek has the most caring staff, the DON does not sit behind a desk and is always on the floor. every time i see her she is always on the move giving the best possible care.

Clean space and friendly folks.

Recently moved my mom in here and she is happy. Everyone has been so welcoming and helpful. There are several activities scheduled each day that cater to a variety of interests. She always loved to cook, and can be picky! she has had nothing but positive things to say about meals at Walnut Creek. The caregivers treat her like family. I feel so comfortable knowing that mom lives in a caring and relaxing community. Some of the reviews below are terrible and I was apprehensive. Certainly not discrediting their experiences, but our experience has been totally, TOTALLY different.

Beautiful campus!

I have worked at both Walnut Creek Nursing Center and the Suites for years and I am completely baffled by the below review, a slap in the face to everyone that works hard and takes pride in their work at WC everyday. Walnut Creek is a fine place to work. I've seen first hand the lengths at which Management, John and Stephanie included, goes above to make sure residents and staff are supported. If you're a dedicated, hard worker that does their job? It's a great place to work. If you're not, you're probably let go. You're probably upset about being held accountable. And you probably resort to writing outlandish and frankly slanderous reviews. Stephanie and John are 100% no nonsense. As they should be, for the sake of the facility's residents. And not everyone is a good fit for that.

My parents live in the cottages which are very nice and well kept up. Walnut Creek has really a beautiful campus. We have no complaints with the quality of care and love that they can maintain their independence. I’ve had direct communication with the Director of Nursing on a few occasions and appreciate the prompt addressing of any concerns and follow up.

These 5 star reviews are fake. Paul Miller gave 5 stars and he is the DON's son, and she is being reported to state for negligence along with another nurse under her supervision. Her daughters also work here and one has been caught drinking on the job and abusing residents. Do not put your family members in this facility until management is changed or until the state investigation is complete. Stephanie Miller and John Hochwalt will lie straight to the face of family members, employees and interviewees about the job and the legalities of the job. House keepers are lifting, feeding, changing and passing meds to residents. Nothing about this place is legal.

Another great visit with my mom at The Suites at Walnut Creek! In spite of the heat there was a beautiful, light breeze, ice cold water and of course great company! Thank you to the staff for making this happen. I know its not easy, but we sure appreciate it!

Walnut Creek is a great facility, and they care a lot about their patients. My mother and father both stayed here and were taken care of. They were provided with everything they needed. Stephanie Miller was extremely helpful throughout the entire process.
