Now we are helping our 2nd set of parents. Sunrise again went above and beyond to get my parents into their new home within a week. They take care of all the details with tremendous love and respect. Cannot recommended them highly enough. Your loved one will be taken care of by a loving qualified staff. They know how to handle the transition from their old home to their new home. They taught us how to have a conversation with our parents in our new world of dementia. They truly treat us like family.

I have been to other assisted living locations in Canton and they competence of the staff at Sunrise is highly appreciated. We are informed promptly when issues arise and don't have to wonder what the status is. My father is always in a good mood when I pick him up for appointments and has never had anything bad to say about the staff. I feel we are lucky to have picked a winner facility for my parents.

Everyone that I came in contact with was extremely helpful and professional. Especially Melissa and Bethany. I spoke to several facilities and Sunrise was the easiest to get answers. I highly recommend this facility. My Mom is quite comfortable. They are keeping residents and staff safe during the pandemic and thats very important!

My father passed away on Christmas Eve, due to heart complications. He was only there for the past twelve months, but I couldnt ask for a more caring compassionate group of people. I felt so safe with him there. I lived just across from the facility and visited often prior to Covid. The place is always beautiful and clean and I couldnt say more about the staff. My father spoke highly of everyone and loved staying there. I only wish he could have enjoyed more of the entertainment, big bands, etc., prior to the pandemic. My mother has been here since October2019. The staff was incredibly helpful during moms first week. They counseled with me for a month on what to expect and the best way to handle moving her in. The facility is extremely clean and offers activities for those who are interested. They often have events so that the family can visit and enjoy time together and we are emailed regularly. My mother has adjusted fairly well and trust me she is a stubborn woman! The only downside that I have found, which probably is the case in all assisted living facilities, is communication. There were some misunderstandings regarding medication. If medication is listed as as needed then it will not necessarily be given when its needed. The staff does not always notice when there are potential issues but my mother is pretty good at hiding her issues, so I cannot put all the blame on the facility. It is important that if you have I loved one in any assisted facility,that you visit regularly and check their room for cleanliness . Are they getting their clothes washed, are they hiding things like food in strange places? The caregivers do not have permission to go through the rooms thoroughly, so there are things they may not know. It is still important that you stay actively involved in your loved ones life and care, even when they are at an Assisted Living facility. I am truly blessed to be able to have my mother in such a beautiful place. They clean her room regularly and do a fantastic job. Two of the caregivers, Helen and Reba are absolutely fantastic! They chat with us and let us know funny details about things that my mother does. They have been incredibly helpful and I dont think that the daily caregivers get enough credit for all that they do. We love Helen and Reba!

I have worked at Sunrise for 4 years! I take great pride in handcrafting meals from scratch everyday! The kitchen staff has all been together for over 4 years! We listen to the residents input to build our activities and 3pm socials! 🙂 I love working here!

I have been employed here at Sunrise of Cuyahoga Falls since this past July as a housekeeper. It has been a great experience. The residents are well taken care of by the care managers. It is a blessing to meet the residents and talk with them. It is like a large family! I love my job, being able to clean the residents home is rewarding. And there are days that many of the department heads pitch in to care for the residents! Even our Executive Director! Heart warming! Wonderful facility! I recommend this home for seniors needing assistance in living!!!

I have worked at Sunrise for 3 years as a care manager, housekeeping, light maintenance and I drive the bus for doctors appointments. I love my job mainly because of two things: One, I am able to care for and fulfill the residents needs which in turn gives them happiness. Two, I am able to help make their home clean and presentable for them, allowing the residents to enjoy where they live. My co-workers and management are amazing as well. I have had many different types of jobs during my working career but Sunrise has given me the most fulfillment thus far.

The memory care area is intimate - with lovely nooks and curved hallways that spiral from the rooms to the common areas. It was welcoming and inviting for residents and families.

One of the best places Ive ever had the pleasure of working at. The residents really make coming to work seem like Im not working at all, its like being home with family. From the staff to the families of residents Sunrise is truly a big family.
