Nice place but it was sold at least a year ago to some other company. Mom really liked it, but she passed away. For the love of God, change the phone number. It's worse than the Government inefficiency.

I have live hear a while. Very nice, Bingo with friends at Assisted Living. No issues with neighbors, People friendly, keep to themselves. My son visits some Weekends, never a problem, Eating out close by, Church close by. Not too far to Down town Columbus. Near 270 for out of town company, my Sister from KY. comes straight up Rt. 23. LOVE neighbors, never any problems, respect each other. Come and go as you want. They sold Assisted Living and Nursing Home I hear. Hope they have an opening when I need it. That was one reason I moved hear but there is other Assisted Living if they are full but I can stay hear till an opening if I wish.

This place was WONDERFUL until my mom got sick & then we had to move her out! I gave the office ample notice & MET the deadline (actually was 2 days early from the end of the month!) It has now been 2 1/2 months later & I have been talking (texting) with the PROPER person I was told to speak with in regards to getting my mom's deposit back! Both this person who does the inspections & approves the apartments/condos & the head of center told me how they were shocked that we left mom's place so clean! They said and I quote,"We didn't even have to hire cleaners to come clean before we had the next tenants move in! Thank you for leaving the condo in such great shape & so clean! Even the windows were cleaned!" I told them my husband was a supervisor at an apartment complex & we know how to leave apartments & be respectful. They sd mom will be getting her full refund. I sd she is also supposed to get her application fees back as well as per her lease agreement she signed when she moves out if there is nothing wrong with her apartment! Well agai it's nw been 2.5 months & by the Statutes of the Laws of the Franklin County Bar Association ALL RENTAL AGREEMENT DEPOSITS * MONEY OWED TO RENTERS IS TO BE PAID BACK TO THE RENTER WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THEIR FINAL MOVE OUT DATE OR THEY ARE ENTITLED OF A FULL REFUND & ANY & ALL MONEY PAID IN EXCESS TO THE COMPANY FOR THE LEASE. (Down Payments, Deposits, Application Fees, Charges if any to replace any appliances etc etc..or instalation of window a/c units etc, etc.. ) I sent a text to the individual ONCE AGAIN just this past Friday (today is Monday time is 11:15pm almost midnight) I again have NOT HEARD ANYTHING BACK FROM HER! I did let her know that they are in violation of Ohio Law for not sending out mom's deposit check + her application fee (gave total amount expected) and advised it needed to be put in the mail on Friday and she needed to get in touch with me! Well she has failed to do so! So bottom line... this IS a wonderful place to live in the condos where it is gatedfor your independent parent(s). Very friendly neighbors & no yard work to do. They have summer gatherings & lots of fun! But when you move out.. seems like pulling teeth to get your deposit back!! So make sure you have all your "T" crossed, your. "I's" dotted & keep a COUPLE of copies of your rental agreement in case one comes up missing! This is just rediculous!

I know a senior lady living there, so I have seen the inside I don't know what type of home they consider them, apartment? townhouse? or half of double? anyway, they are very nicely made but not that nice for the price on rent. it's a small quiet gated senior living community

This is a wonderful place for seniors who want to live independently. My mom who 74 yrs old & can still do for herself and get around loves her new home! The gated condo community is just beautiful & the neighbors are so friendly! The grounds are always kept in clean & well manicured condition. They mow the lawns & have trash pick up. Each condo has a "sun/Florida" room which is in the back & leads out to the spacious patios. There are windows galore so there is ample natural lighting to save on one's electric bills. But if someone likes to keep the windows closed there is also lots of great lighting around the condo in every room & ceiling fans to move the heat & air conditioning around. My favorite part is the high ceilings & tons of space for storage! (In my moms unit there is not an attic, but not sure about any other units?) Her unit has a HUGE walk in closet with TONS of room to hang her clothes & also for storage. The kitchen has lots cabinet space on top & below with 3 corner Canet (2 underneath with Lazy Susan swivel to make more room for storage & easy access to items). There is also a dishwasher, microwave, flatop stove with self cleaning oven & very spacious refrigerator (just the perfect size that my mom can actually reach the top without having to use her stool.

This past summer we were looking for Independent Senior Living options for my mother. We weren't even sure what state she was looking to move to. Debbie Ayers was extremely informative, understanding of our situation, & helpful. My mother was able to get a tour & actually liked the whole facility, & she loved everything the Villa's of Scioto had to offer (especially for Independent Senior Living). Unfortunately, the Villa's are only located in Ohio, so when my mother decided to reside in Florida the Villa's were no longer an option. But, even after we had made the decision not choose the Villa's of Scioto Debbie still offered up her assistance & a few recommendations on other facilities & living options we might consider.

I received a letter last week from a family member of 1 of our long time Villa residents, Dorothy C., who passed away at the age of 98 a few weeks ago. We had the honor of having her live here as a part of our senior independent community for the past 15 years. Her son asked me to post this review for him and I quote "From The Family of Dorothy C: Our mother recently passed away after residing at the Villas of Scioto Community since 2004. For 15 years she enjoyed living independently in her own condo while having access to assisted and nursing home care should she need it. While she valued her privacy, the closeness of her friendly neighbors enhanced the pleasure of living within the small gated community. She enjoyed maintenance free living combined with various social activities and outings for seniors. We wish to thank the Villas of Scioto for enriching our mother's life. The C. Family"

My parents moved into The Villas of Scioto In October, 2018. Their condo is roomy and very nice! When we initially met with them, the staff was very patient and helpful. They spent all the time we needed answering questions and took us on a thorough tour of the facility. It’s been a nice place for my parents to call home!

I would like to thank Debbie Ayers, CSA for the tour on 12/12/18 of the Villas of Scioto, and the gracious couple that allowed me into their home, for an on sight tour. I was extremely impressed. with the amount of room and closet space. You can feel the comfort in their home. It is a place I know I would be happy to live. Debbie made me feel comfortable with the surroundings, and her expertise as a caring person. She made me feel like family. The superior quality of the facility, staff and management is the greatest gift to all who live here. Charles and I have lived here for 5 1/2 years. The new staff has been very responsive and cooperative in meeting any need we would have here in our home. The Villas are very spacious and best of all this community is pet friendly. If I couldn’t have brought our cat, Noel, I would not have moved here. Some of the benefits of living here include walks around the pond, ability to participate in all campus activities, and we can even request a meal to be delivered from the main kitchen on campus. Many of our neighbors have become good friends.....it’s a wonderful place to live.

I moved in to the Villas 2 months ago and it fits all my needs. It's a quiet, comfortable environment. Neighbors are very friendly and helpful!It's been a good move for me!
