My father has stage 4 cancer, he is not the easiest person to deal with but I will tell anyone who cares about their family to come with a team. Sloppy and disingenuous transfer of care from OSU and staff is dependent on who is available. Inability to get “nurses or anyone that can read specific charts has been a joke. My dad’s feeding tube (overnight supervision) comes undone and then he has staff asking him why he made a mess. He was able to have a feeding tube come unhooked and had to use the restroom and no one acts quickly nor kindly after 5. Not efficient in my opinion and I will never let my dad come back. Staff works m-f then leaves a disaster of misinformation and mismanagement of care over any holiday. when Medicare uses your money to bring in third party services and you can’t tell me they care about my father. Basic needs dirty, wounds not cared for, embarrassed and I do his laundry, diapers you need to pay your full time staff more and unfortunate future clients better bring a few family members. This place is so sad Sincerely and unfortunately Erin Mahler

My mother was more than a resident, she was a member of the Mayfair family and they treated her as such. Mayfair was always great with communication if there were any concerns with my mom and they treated me as family as well. The staff is compassionate and extremely dedicated, I rarely saw “new faces” as far as the staff. When my mother passed the staff was shaken as if they lost a family member as well, which in actuality they did. If you’re looking for a facility for your loved one to be safe, cared for and loved, look no further than Mayfair Village. There will always be a place in my heart for Mayfair, I owe them more than words can express. Thank you for 10 years of comfort, care and love.

I would like to say even though they're short staff, the employees they do have work really hard. Especially with it being Mother's Day and they should be celebrating like most. They're working hard to tend the needs of other love ones. I would like to say Happy Mother's Day to all the hard working Mother's.

What a disgusting place. I was there after one surgery and it was ok. When I went there after this last surgery it was terrible. They didn;t have any medicine for me, they didn't have a TV's. They said they locked them up during the weekend. So here I am in pain, in a dark room with nothing to watch. The girl who they said to me that she was sorry she was mean to me. She said they made her say she was a nurse. I have some prescribed drugs with me and I took them. Then they threw me out. Then they stole my walker and computer. When I came to I was back in the hospital. No one, and I no one, should go there. It used to be a good nursing home, now it is pit with incompetent nurses and incompetent management. It my hoped they they are closed someday.

Hayden was just wonderful… He could not help us due to the age of our friend being too young to be able to live at Mayfair. However Hayden spend 45 minutes helping us find all the options we might have in finding our friend the best options for a place to live in the Columbus area… What a help! No one else would do this for us! Thanks Hayden!

The building may not be shiny and new but it is very clean and solid. The real gem here is the staff and the community they create. I have repeatedly been so warmed by the personal observations staff members and administrators shared with me about Dad and his activities and his conversations with them -- even staff I'd never realized were interacting with him. I got lots of very good regular feedback about how he was feeling, how he was eating, how he was socializing, and so much more. Mayfair feels like a home first and a business second. Dad's activities were built around personal relationships with the staff and the other residents rather than around babysitting. He made friends there that he would NEVER have ventured out to meet when he lived at home. Dad looked at six other nearby places and chose Mayfair easily over the others because they all felt cold and impersonal to him in comparison. It's just an added bonus that Mayfair was more affordable than all the others.

My Father spent seven months at Mayfair Village and enjoyed every minute. The staff was pleasant and attentive to his day to day needs. The facility was very clean and well kept both inside and out. The staff was great at keeping everyone busy with games events and music on a daily basis. I would highly recommend Mayfair Village for anyone looking for the best care for their parents or grandparents. Thanks you to the staff for the caring atmosphere that my Father enjoyed while in your care.

Mayfair Village has an excellent staff from the director to the receptionist! They are truly people oriented folks with terrific personalities! My mom has been living here for four years and her medical situation has been complicated. The nursing staff has been supportive in helping me to make informed decisions about her care. Assisting an aging parent is rarely simple but I feel as though the Mayfair staff has helped me with every step along the way to understand the complex issues surrounding her care. I feel as though I have a partner in caring for my mom.
