Friendly folk and always smiling and willing to help!! First shift during my stay was golden! Jennifer, Diane and Dawn were so sweet and were there when I needed them to be! They honestly seem to be there because they enjoy helping others and not just there for a paycheck like a few of the others I had to come across! And La'Rita on 2nd shift is a jewel! They are all very professional but can still carry a smile and make us smile! I wish I could take them home with me!

Yvonne, the super nice lady in charge of giving out snacks etc is a extremely caring woman that makes the patients feel at home. She is an asset to Franklin plaza. Other personnel that I have met there while visiting a patient seem to be very caring as well.

I toured your facility a few days ago for possible placement for my brother who has dementia. I cannot express enough how fantastic your admissions person Crystal was. She was the kindest, most welcoming person. She included my brother in every step, which let me tell you was so heart warming. Even tho he didn't quite understand what was going on, she took the time to make sure he felt included and heard. She was able to make a difficult day full of questions and unknowns a lot more accepting and understandable.

Only two stars because it's relatively clean ..my honest opinion, disorganized, patients deserve an remodeled place and upgrades, idk man these people are quite questionable, I asked about my check missing and it was due to my own error the lady asked if my account was overdrawn , like I'm a dummy yes that's an insult because I would know if my account was overdrawn just by pulling it up very dumb question to ask, the scheduler doesn't care about filling shifts very ghetto vibes smh ”

I've been a pastor on the near west side for over 20 years, and I've had numerous parishioners or neighbors who have lived at Franklin Plaza. Despite being overworked, and serving many residents with special needs, the staff is always cheerful, hard-working, and show a genuine interest in the residents.

On June 17, 2021, our FP Fam helped my husband and me celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary with a beautiful, surprise spread complete with dessert, card, flowers, sparkling grape juice and disposable wine glasses. I was so shocked I cried tears of joy especially since we were not together in 2020 due to COVID-19. These are those unexpected things they do to truly make FP a home for its residents and their families. Everyone I shared the pictures with were in awe at this wonderful gesture. Our family, all out of state, were especially touched and so appreciative of FP's kindnesses to us. It really was one of our best and most memorable anniversary celebrations ever. Much appreciation and gratitude from our Murray Fam to our FP Fam.

Poor quality food and communication by staff. One of those places you might imagine on a movie where people dont care..are low IQ and wages and residents left alone to termoil the remaining days in silence. Pathetic and pitiful.
