Our present team from Assisting Hands is providing my husband Bob G with wonderful care and we feel so blessed they are " on the case"! The three who have been with us for a long time ( years!) are Rob Roby, Lilly McCord and Aissatou Diop. Their kindness, patience and understanding plus professional manner ( and willingness to "go the second mile") have provided us immeasurable comfort and peace of mind,. More recently, Ronishia Robb has filled out our "A Team", and is devoted to Bob as well. We feel very fortunate to have these dedicated people in our lives .

Very happy with our caregiver, Davanna, who has been such a help to my husband and to me. She is prompt, dependable ,extremely friendly, and anticipates his every need! I can work,,knowing he is well taken care of! After a few caregivers who were not a fit, we finally found our gem! Thank you so much!

Katrice has been so helpful with my mom. She is compassionate and patient and always makes sure my mom has what she needs. Any concerns are communicated to me immediately. I feel so safe an relieved knowing Katrice is there to take care of my mom. My mom has not willingly accepted help, but Katrice has found a way to build rapport and a system that works for them both. We would be lost without her.

We have had the pleasure of having Monica caring for our mother for a few months now. Monica has been a wonderful companion for my mom, and she has a gentle presence that has helped my mom feel safe and cared for when we cannot be there. Thank you Monica!

This is our first time working with Assisting Hands only recently. Linda Shaw was terrific, listening to our concerns and the needs my parents now have. They assigned a care manager, Jen Kessen, who has kept in touch with us. We then, of course, got a new provider in Monica who has been caregiving for my mom and dad for several weeks now. They both like her very much (that, in itself, is saying something as they are vigorous judges of character). She engages them like no one previously has, playing cards, going for walks, simply by being PRESENT as a caregiver. She is kind and is in touch with their feelings. We are all very happy with her care and hope that we will be able to work together for a long time.

Assisting Hands provided us with Coura who needs little or no instructions and is so motivated to doing everything she can to help. Once she does something we need, she continues to do it every time she comes. Often she will remind us that what we are doing is part of her job description. She keeps busy. She asks often if there is something more we need. She is pleasant the entire time she is here. She seems to thoroughly enjoy helping us. We are very blessed to have her help.

My mother is 84 years old and has Alzheimer's. She lives in an assisted-living and we have been using an Assisting Hands for 2 1/2 months now. Her psychiatrist just called and they are lowering her antidepressant medication. This is wonderful news and it's the first time in decades! We are thankful for Tanecia and all her efforts!

Barbara Hill - Kelly was an outstanding and an excellent caregiver. Her work ethic was incredible and always willing to go above and beyond her assigned duties. Kind, supporting and encouraging, Barbara worked extremely well with the PT's and OT's assigned to my case. She was not only a caregiver but a friend and we truly miss having her at our home.

We picked Assisting Hands almost at random as a family member was in need of services and we were desperate. Rarely does that work out well. Assisting Hands was the exception to the above statement. All the caregivers were attentive, well trained and knew what to do in all situations. The caregivers worked with us and hospice to make an end of life experience as trouble free and as tolerable as possible. Management stopped over on a regular basis to ensure we were being taken care of and happy. While I hope not to have to use their services again should the need arise I would call Assisting Hands again without hesitation. They allowed my family to have all bases covered without having to do or know a thing. They literally had it covered 24 hours a day.

Assisting Hands (Dee Ann and Anija) were great! Very professional, thorough and caring for our elderly Mother! Thank you!

My experience with helping hands has been tremendous. My regular caregiver Quiana Cooper is exceptional. She takes the initiative without me asking, to do things for me and things around the house that I'm unable to do. She is always on time she's friendly and I would consider her a friend at this point, I have been so happy with helping Hands. They've been with me for three months now, I had a traumatic crush injury in November that landed me in the hospital and in a wheelchair. Quiana has done everything for me that I can imagine and I don't want our relationship to end. I mean, I'm hoping I'm at some point, I get out of the wheelchair and don't need as much help but I would still consider Quiana a friend . The administrators have been pleasant and extraordinarily helpful, and I would recommend the service to anyone, Kim Tremblay

We have been very happy with the care that has been provided by Assisting Hands, and particularly, Destiny. She routinely goes out of her way to anticipate needs, exhibits an appropriate sense of urgency, and goes above and beyond in her care taking measures. This brings great peace of mind. Thank you for the dedication.
