I have. Been here almost 2 weeks the care has been good and bad. The last few nights have then awful really really bad. Don’t see a nurse or aid almost all night. They set you up and then they just leave you. They never come back to see how you’re doing. I would think twice before I would come here again. Physical therapy was good. I care not so good. I had my call light on for better part of an hour I’m late. I’m just madder and maadder. Good luck to those are still here.

My mother-in-law is there. After a horrendous fall she was sent there for therapy and recovery. A physical therapist worked with her while we were in the room. Her name was Suzanne and she was so knowledgeable and helpful. She was truly amazing and took her time with explaining to our mom the importance of using her walker so that she won't fall again. She taught her breathing methods, adjusted her arm-sling so it works properly and so much more. Suzanne really pays attention to detail. We are very grateful for her patience.

This place is incredible and boosts my confidence and faith in knowing my mom is being treated well during her recovery. When I first learned she would have to go to an extended care/rehab facility and especially the name they're tied to under a hospital I'm not a big fan of, I was a bit worried as many such places have quite the horror stories including the hospital under the same name. But after hearing directly from my mom and from seeing in person, I am very very relieved. The staff are super friendly, from the nurses, therapists, even the maintenance crew are wonderful. Many even had concern for me as I have been having really bad asthma and chest pain from walking as of late and having such a long walk from the front entrance all the way to the very last room in the very back I have to stop a couple times to catch my breath and let my chest pain go away. I'm not even a patient but they still kept checking on me and made sure I was ok and even brought a wheelchair for me to have a seat for a few minutes and then offered to let me take a shortcut right through the therapy room so I wouldn't have to go the long way around the hallway. The wheelchairs are very comfortable and padded. I've never seen such phenomenal equipment and care before. I also notice when a patient uses their call light, they aren't ignored for hours at a time, they pretty much get answered right away. This place and the staff need to be given the highest honors and awards possible for their amazingly excellent service. Update: I would just like to thank everyone here for caring for my mom. This place has the best physical therapists I've ever seen. I'm jealous that I'm not able to get that quality of PT in outpatient PT services for my pain issues. The food service people are great, especially Denise. Great lady, always working to brighten the patient's day with her great sense of humor and optimism (Go TIGERS, haha). Lee is one of the greatest and most intelligent physical therapists ever and you can tell she really cares for and wants the best for the patients she serves. The speech therapist Laura is wonderful and one of the nicest and kindest people I've ever met, she's so gentle and kind and sweet to the patients and their families. I can't remember all the names but literally everyone here is incredible. The aides, nurses, food service, therapists, and the doctor. Thank you all so much for your excellence. It does not go unnoticed.

Severely understaffed. My wife received poor care while she was there. Aides dont seem to be properly trained (hiring warm bodies?), and unless this is your last or only place to go, I wouldn't recommend it. You're working with people who need help and proper care... and it's not just profits over patient care. (Reason for two stars and not just one is that there are GOOD, compassionate, caring people here. Nursing is not glamorous, it's not high paying off the bat, and you have to CARE about your patients.)

If I could give Woodlawn 10 stars I would. Every nurse my Mother has had shows kindness while meeting her extensive needs. Krista has been there for us even when my Mom collapsed in the parking lot and we had to go back to the hospital instead of her follow up Dr appointment-she and another nurse tended to my Mom like she were their own grandmother. The therapists continue to work hard getting her up when she returned for a second stay in a totally dependent state, using the overhead lift system and getting her in a bedside chair, working to a wheelchair, and then to the parallel bars to get weight through her legs. They meet a person were they are and do whatever it takes to get them on the road to recovery. We are helpful to continue care until my Mom is able to return to her independence but realize these wonderful people need to share their expertise with other deserving patients. I am sure when her care transitions elsewhere we are going to have a major adjustment to our expectations for care. We have used Woodlawn in the past for my Dad's care and they were just as amazing 15 years ago...so glad we were able to get in with my Mom and have another wonderful experience. And if we have the need in the future, Woodlawn will remain our top choice for care.

This place has been AMAZING with my dad. He had been in a hospital/LTAC since early January. Had ALOT of ups and downs, and sadly, it seemed a lot people in the previous facilities had no hope for my dad, continuously told us he would not get better and that this was as good as it was going to get. THANK GOD he came to this place. Immediately they started PT overload, got him eating FOOD, not through a tube, got his trach tube out, took care of his stage 3 bed sore, which is in healing stages now, and have just overall been his saving grace. Even when he couldn't handle the extreme PT due to his blood pressure, he was lucky enough to move to the other side of the building that specializes in PT (at your pace) and nursing care. My dad has done a COMPLETE 180 since coming here. I thought i had lost faith in the health care system. And i still kind of have. But Aultman Woodlawn has restored hope that there are places that actually CARE about people, won't GIVE UP on people and want what is best for them and their families and will do everything they can to get the person well and home. All I have to say is THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart and my family's hearts. You gave us my dad back. Can't tell you how grateful we are. We appreciate all of you there and all that you do. Food is ok lol. But you guys are AMAZING. Thank you again for everything!!!! <3

My mom was here for only a few days until she passed but I have to say I was impressed. The nurses were great. I stayed with my mom day and night until she passed and they always checked on me asked if I needed anything or if any of us needed anything. They were polite professional and just amazingly kind. After my mom passed they even sent my family a pink rose in a vase that was actually hand delivered. That ment a lot it was a really sweet gesture from them. Me and my family have nothing but great things to say about this place.!!!!!

My father was a recent patient, discharged yesterday. I found the staff at Woodlawn to be very professional, knowledgeable and caring. What was most noticeable is how they listened to the patient and their families. Both my sister and me work in similar healthcare environments in Florida and we know great care when we see it. Thank you to the staff at Aultman Woodlawn.

I previously gave this place 5 stars, that was before they lost my father's dentures and will not accept accountability. He's a double amputee that has fallen out of his chair twice and was left alone in the bathroom. They sent him to the emergency room because he was sleeping and wouldn't wake up. He's a heavy sleeper who was heavily medicated at the time. The only reason they get 2 stars is because not all the staff is bad, it was the administration. The aides were nice and nurses were helpful. However the hospital administration lacks compassion and at times are aloof.

Have not been impressed with the care they have been giving my mother. Three times they have not given her anti-rejection medication to her within 3 hours of when she was supposed to take it. She had a broken ankle surgically repaired at Aultman main. When discharged to Aultman Woodlawn she went 11 hours with out any medication to manage her pain. That was the first time they failed to get her anti-rejection medication to her on time also. She can't get to the bathroom on her own and it frequently takes them 20 minutes or longer to answer her call bell. I found less than half the staff friendly or helpful. They are very defensive even when you are asking nicely. It seems that the nursing staff let's the aides get all the call bells. NO ONE is too good to answer a call bell - not nurses, not doctors, not the CEO - all staff should uphold the supposed Aultman mission/core values and take every opportunity to provide care for the patients. I saw 4 call bells going off and 2 nurses sitting at the station with no intention of getting up. Not okay and will end up being a huge liability at some point. The therapy staff have been very good, kind, and advocating for her...therapy and one good nurse named Heather is the only reason she is still there and why this isn't a one star review.

Food is not very good and items seem short. Served cold a lot of times. My mom likes the staff but not the food. Also has not had her hair washed in a week because it can't be scheduled. ???

The Staff is very caring and friendly! My friend said, " They remembered me from before!" Abd thats been awhile! She said, " I would rather come to Woodlawn than anywhere else!" I have to agree, they have a great facility!

The staff is very helpful and friendly. Great place.

My Grandma went there for a stroke. The staff is very nice, only a few are mean, but it's very limited. The food is absolutely terrible. It looks and tastes horrible. She hates it.
