Caring staff, but the aide/nurse to patient ratios are unsafe; the staff is extremely overworked, and the ratios put residents at risk. One aide can not take care of 27+ residents the way these residents need/deserve to be taken care of. This facility is also not a typical assisted living facility; there are many residents that require extensive care, and it feels much more like a skilled nursing facility with the level of care that is carried out, which makes the ratios even more unsafe.

I wish I could rate this higher than 5 stars! I've made more progress here than anywhere I've been including rehab facilities. The staff is extremely friendly. They know everyone by name the first day. I like to say it's a well-oiled machine! Highly recommend!

End of life care for a parent is a really difficult process. Anything that can make that process easier is a really big deal. Plum Creek made it so, so much easier for my Mom, her sisters, and my Grandmother during my Grandfather's last few weeks. Senior care can feel isolating and lack humanity and empathy.. after weeks in the hospital and rehab, Plum Creek was such a breath of fresh air in this respect. They treated my Grandpa like a full human, took his care seriously, and brought him comfort and genuine joy in his last few weeks. The importance of this for not only my Grandpa, but my whole family, can't be overstated. He made friends at dinner, he played bingo, he had a grin on his face handing out candy for trick or treaters. When our family couldn't be there with him, we felt confident he was being well cared for and this confidence was reinforced by frequent pictures and updates. Christina Meadows-Waller, the executive director at Plum Creek, deserves direct recognition. She is truly dedicated to this work and it's felt by residents and family. After my Grandpa passed, while grieving, my mom was still singing her praises. "She cared for him like he was her own father". My family's appreciation for everything she's done can't be accurately put into words. Thank you Plum Creek and thank you Christina for giving my Grandpa a comfortable home and such kind and thoughtful care these last few weeks. It means more than you know.

The entrance way is very welcoming especially this time of year for Easter. Many residents are out and about socializing. The staff are extremely pleasant and are continuously providing the best care.

Plum Creek is a very special place. I worked as a nursing assistant for many years at Plum Creek & I can say first hand how wonderful it is. I am now a registered nurse & have even more respect for the facility and the individuals running it. I've seen and worked at other facilities and it's truly hard to top the care that Plum Creek provides, because nothing less than excellent care is accepted. The residents are considered family and treated as such. I recently had to assist a family member with choosing a facility and there was no doubt in my mind where to go. You cannot put a price on the peace of mind that comes with knowing your family member is safe and being loved when you're not able to provide care. Not only is it great care, but the food is delicious, and they always have great entertainment/activities for everyone to join. They have outings you can sign up for that provide transportation for residents to grocery shop, have lunch at a restaurant, see Christmas lights during the holiday season, etc. Truly just a special facility that will care for your loved one the way you hope someone would.

The employees at Plum Creek care for their residents as if they were their own family. Both of my grandparents spent their final lives at Plum Creek. They received not only the best medical care but also loved being part of the community. The countless activities , homemade cooked meals and wonderful atmosphere were a true blessing! It was so comforting knowing they were receiving around the clock care by compassionate loving employees !

We found Plum Creek when our first relative reached the age and stage where they couldn't safely be on their own at home anymore. When two other relatives reached this point as well, there was no question in our minds where the best place for them would be. The staff at Plum Creek go above and beyond to make each resident feel special and loved and the facility, activities, food, garden...just everything is absolutely wonderful. They care for our family members as much as we do. Our family members thrive in this environment as they are emotionally, mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually cared for. We can't say enough about Plum Creek!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! The entire staff exudes kindness, professionalism, smiles and a positive attitude when caring for the residents. Everyone has been willing to jump right in and provide care. This is a family approach to care and allows my family to have peace of mind. I couldn't be happier with our choice!!

I started there in 2018 as an aide and have recently switched positions after graduation to be a nurse here. I debated continuing to work here after getting my license with another full time job but plum creek feels like a second home! I couldn't imagine not being there. It has grown so much over the years and continues to become better in areas such as staffing, training, accountability, communication etc. I see many employees go above and beyond for our residents everyday. Each department does their part to keep our facility running smoothly. I am always able to speak with management in a timely manner. The best part of my day is seeing my residents in which I hope I make their day as much as they make mine. I would recommend plum creek!

This facility is absolutely wonderful! My grandmother is currently residing here and every time I come to visit she is always so very well taken care of. The staff really go above and beyond to make sure she is taken care of and comfortable. I was so worried about putting my grandmother in a nursing home but plum creek has definitely kept my mind at ease. Thank you so much for all you guys do!!!

We placed my mother, now 103 years young, here at Plum Creek assisted living just over 4 years ago. We were not sure how she would adjust as she had always been somewhat of a loner and did not have many friends. Since she has arrived, she has thrived in this environment. We appreciate the daily structure and the many activities the staff provide, going above and beyond for holiday events, happy hours, bingo, crafts, music, exercise, etc. for the residents. Plum Creek is not alone facing care and staffing issues as are other healthcare facilities, but they are dedicated to providing the best care they can. Since it is family owned and operated, they consider each resident "family" and makes sure the communication doors are always open for suggestions, comments, and ways to improve care.

I've been working at plum for over two years now and I love it!! The staff is amazing here, I'm currently working towards my nursing degree and they've been so helpful throughout the process with working around my school schedule! I'd recommend this place to anyone!

I can't say enough good things about Plum Creek. My mother-in-law is a different person since she has moved in Plum Creek. Her quality of life has improved a hundred fold. The staff goes beyond the call of duty. Everyone is kind and thoughtful. Married to an only child it was a difficult decision to place my mother-in-law anywhere but it was the best decision we made.

Our family had to make the tough choice to move my uncle to assisted living but we couldn't have found a better place! The nursing staff is amazing and works hard to manage all of his meds, keep his chronic illnesses managed (like his CHF & COPD), ensures he sees the NP as needed and keeps an eye on his mental health. He receives physical therapy and occupational therapy as well as speech for cognition. It's all made a HUGE difference. He was SO not social ever-and now he enjoys attending the activities and group exercise classes! It's so great to see him have friends. They all look out for one another. His room is kept clean (which is a huge job because he is messy). They make his bed each day, bring him towels each day, empty his trash each day. They clean his room and do his laundry once a week. Everyone is so kind and helpful and it's so nice to know he's well taken care of and safe! Oh.. and the food is great! He never complains about a meal and sometimes asks for seconds 🙂 I love that the building is all on one level. I also love that it's family owned!

I love having a close relationship with our residents and their families. Plum Creek is a great facility and a very rewarding place to work.
