My husband and I spent so much time visiting senior living apartments in the Westchester area for his parents. It was very important to find a place where the tenants were intellectually stimulated, active, and welcoming. We dealt with Abby Stenzler. She was so communicative from the second we reached out and provided us with more attention and information than we had received from any other place we toured. She introduced us to Lauren, the director who was so welcoming and friendly. We loved everything about our visit and cannot wait for my in-laws to meet Abby and Lauren, and see the beautiful apartments and everything the building has to offer!

Let me count the ways.... Life at Waterstone of Westchester is nothing short of amazing. It starts with the staff (thank you Abby) who are warm and helpful. Then there are the multitude of premium amenities but the best is the residents themselves in this community who are vibrant and welcoming . Take a tour and you will see!

My parents moved into Waterstone of Westchester this winter. The team - particularly Abby our leasing consultant - did an incredible job around all the logistics of their move, including a temporary smaller apartment while we waited for availability in a larger one. The community is warm and welcoming. Its extremely well-located within Westchester - central and with many amenities nearby. The staff is nice and the maintenance team is very helpful. They have a great network of providers who help residents - Right at Home for caregiving, folks to hang pictures & TVs, trainers, physical therapists and even Tatiana who does a great blowout! Its a great option for people who are not ready for assisted living but want to live in a building that creates community through both place and activities. It feels fresh & new - like any standard new construction - and seems like a great place to call home! I would highly recommend!

As a physical therapist who regularly works with residents at The Waterstone, I can confidently say this is an exceptional community. The staff is consistently warm, welcoming, and most importantly, extremely helpful in supporting both residents and outside care providers like myself so we can do our jobs effectively. That level of collaboration makes a meaningful difference in resident outcomes. It’s also very clear that the team here genuinely cares about the residents. The individuals I treat are truly happy living at The Waterstone, and that speaks volumes about the culture, attentiveness, and quality of care. Management is approachable, engaged, and always willing to listen, which has made them outstanding partners in providing the best possible experience for residents. On top of that, the facility itself is beautiful. Moving my mother back to New York from Sarasota, Florida, was a big change, but the team at Waterstone of Westchester made it an incredibly pleasant experience. Having lived in Riverdale and Westchester previously, she wanted to be back home, and they have made her transition into her new home so easy. The staff went above and beyond to introduce her to the lovely community of residents. She’s already playing Mah Jong and is even looking into joining a book club! I don’t want to jinx it, but this might be the best decision I’ve ever made for her. My only wish is that we had done it sooner. I would definitely recommend this facility to any family."

I'm an outside contractor, the very first day I walked in the facility the difference was obvious. I had to go to the concierge desk to sign in and ask for directions to the client I was going to see. The warmth and professionalism of the clerk took me by surprise. She was very kind in her response to my inquiries. I've worked in other facilities and by far the staff here is exceptional, ,courteous and eager to assist. I've had the opportunity to watch their interaction with the residents and there is a familial feeling in the way the residents are treated. It's a good place to live.

We moved into Waterstone of Westchester about a week ago after investigating many other senior living communities nearby. This by far is a wonderful choice offering so many wonderful amenities. The staff is warm, caring, and compassionate. Most of all has been our experience with Abby, our Senior Advisor. She has guided us through a very challenging process with ease, always taking our calls and referring us to the appropriate person. It was difficult to downsize but we're so happy we did it. And we're delighted to be here and near our daughter and her family. Was a wonderful decision!!

My dad and stepmother moved to Waterstone in White Plains approximately one year ago. They were both healthy and vibrant people in their 90's and didn't need an assisted living, but they wanted a social, yet protective environment should an issue arise. Recently my dad had some health issues and the executive director and the staff at Waterstone immediately stepped up to make accommodations that my dad needed. The staff is always quick to lend a hand and provide a solution to a problem that may arise. Everyone at Waterstone is friendly and communicative resulting in excellent customer service to the residents and their families. As an elder law attorney, I have visited and dealt with a lot of senior communities in my 35 years of practice and this particular community rises to the top. I highly recommend it.

My mom just moved this week from a 55+ community in Silver Spring, MD to Waterstone in White Plains, NY and her transition has been seamless. After my sister and I first toured Waterstone and met with Helayne we knew that this would be the place for our mom to thrive! Once my mom saw the gorgeous apartments, dining room, movie room, pool, gym, and outdoor courtyard her decision was made. My mom at age 90! is very active and will be able to continue doing water aerobics, playing bridge, and engaging with so many new friends. Jay-ne has made her feel so comfortable this first week by arranging dinner dates with other residents who have welcomed her into the community with open arms. The food is delicious and that's coming from a former restaurant owner! Waterstone is a special place that instantly became home for my mom and we are all excited to watch her next chapters unfold in her new community.

I spent all of November shopping for the best next chapter for my 94 yo godfather after my 81 yo godmother passed on Nov 1. We visited 13 senior communities. Waterstone topped the list in many ways. The pristine, quiet, classy building has all the amenities we sought, and its vibrant, upbeat, well-heeled bright-mind seniors are a top draw. We were deeply impressed by the warmth of the staff we met and found Helayne the most personable marketing pro with just the right touch bases and outreach. Our experience at Waterstone was 5 star. The rooms are clean and completely updated with thoughts on layout and amenities. The service and staff are so helpful and friendly. The activities, pool, spa and daily activity plan are wonderful. The Resturant chef even came out to introduce himself to us. We came to tour Waterstone of Westchester, on behalf of my parents, after hearing about them through friends. We were blown away by how beautiful it was. Abby Stenzler showed us around and answered all of our questions. She introduced us to everyone who passed by, all of whom seemed really happy. We are excited to bring my parents and sister to see it - we are sure they’ll love it as much as we did. As we were leaving, we noticed their happy hour was rocking! I loved how packed it was.

I have visited close to twelve (12) communities and have found Waterstone of Westchester to be the perfect match for my 90 year old mother. While we are in the process of selling her home we will rent an apartment at Waterstone of Westchester, independent living in the Spring of 2024. I have found the staff to be very friendly and working with Helayne Scheier, Senior Advisor who has been very helpful as I navigate this "new world". I visited with my Mom for a tour and Helayne was so kind and informative and made my Mom feel right at home. Helayne went above and beyond and mailed my Mom two (2) books that they are reading for their book club. Helayne introduced us to a few of the residents and I know that my Mom will feel right at home when we make the move. The apartments are well designed with all of the details very well thought out. They are also very bright and my Mom fell in love with the full kitchen with high-end appliances! I would advise everyone to take a look at Waterstone of Westchester and it is right across the street from Bloomingdales in White Plains! My folks moved into Waterstone 2 months back and the community welcomed them in a truly loving and authentic way. The staff” from Lauren to Abby to Maddie, to Debbie to Oleska are simply first rate. The activities are plentiful, diverse and well-designed, the team’s attention to building a strong sense of belonging and caring is first rate in every way. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The senior team’s openness to critique, dialogue and transparency is ” in my 40 year career in education and social services leadership” fairly unique. Everyone at the front desk is kind, patient, and ready to go the extra mile. Are there issues that need to be addressed” sure! The place is still experiencing some early growing pains. Is the dining experience somewhat frustrating and uneven- yes! Is the cost higher than most places” of course. But you get the feeling that this is a place where ones’ loved ones who have worked hard to be able to live with dignity and comfort will be able to truly enjoy their golden years!

My Mom is moving in here in a few weeks. I can't say enough great things about the process so far. Everyone very accommodating. We feel like family already. Everything from the team of people we've met to the cleanliness to the decor and atmosphere is first rate. Abby and Roseanne from the Marketing office are second to none. Debbie and Hannah make my Mom laugh and smile every time we're there. And Lauren, the Director, is absolutely wonderful. We cannot wait to move her in.

The pandemic left my mother feeling isolated and deprived of social interaction. As it turned out, Waterstone was the best prescription we could have hoped for. The staff is incredibly warm, engaging, and available, always with sincere smiles on their faces. We really feel part of a wonderful community, so much so that Mom’s Place has become a new destination for us--enjoying the company of other residents and staff in the various impressive and impeccably designed group spaces. In addition to making many new friends and sharing new experiences, mom now leads an active lifestyle and loves her beautiful new apartment. I highly recommend Waterstone to any adult (62+) eager to spend more time with friendly contemporaries in an elegant setting.

Combined with an exceptionally beautiful apartment and programming available to the tenants is terrific. My wife and I have been astounded by the tremendous support provided by the Executive Director Lauren Freifeld and her staff. From the very start their presentation of the concept, facility, amenities and process of "membership" were clear and honest. They have made the entire process very easy. Their help extended to our transition to Waterstone from our previous living situation. Some educational amenities have already come on line prior to opening. There have been many opportunities to meet other committed future residents via Zoom and on two occasions in person during one of the Covid "lulls". Overall a positive experience.
