Such a relief to have moved my brother from a second floor studio in a senior building with no elevator! Now he can wheel himself to the dining room in minutes to three good meals a day, and aides help him with everything his mobility prevents him doing himself.

My mom has been living in Amber Court for one month today. I feel that she is happy and safe. The supervisor for the nursing assistants is very friendly and helpful so is Ed the Director of Operations. My mom was paired up with a wonderful roommate thanks to Jil, the Director of Admissions. So far so good!

My mom has been here for several years now. Like all assisted living facilities it has its share of issues, staffing shortages, inconsistency with meal service, etc. However it's very nice and clean, and rhe entryway and dinaing areas look beautiful since they redid it. Lovely garden area in the back. They have alot of activites daily for the residents. The staff do try hard inspite of these challenges. My hope is that AC will hire more staff and pay them fairly. That would go a long way.

My Grandmother lived there for five years. Betsy was always wonderful, thank G-d for her. My grandmother had Alzheimers and her disease took an emotional toll on my family. Betsy was always very calm and able to guide us throughout the progression of my grandmothers dementia and care. Ginger and the activities were fantastic, she works tirelessly to ensure the residents are entertained and engaged. My grandmother was a Holocaust survivor and she felt very comfortable at Amber Court. Would highly recommend Alcove for memory care.

I can't say enough how happy I am with Amber Court of Westbury. It is without a doubt the best move I could have made for my mom. Leaving Bristal and coming to Amber Court has made such a positive impact on my mother. She is the happiest she's been in years. Not only is it considerably cheaper, the care level is exceptional and much better than Bristal. Every member of mom's team is outstanding! I thank you ALL!!!

Amber Court has a wonderful environment for people in need. Our tour guide, Jill was amazing, helpful and very, very knowledgeable a delightful person to go through this experience with.

Lovely, clean, environment. Hospitable staff. Many room and price options to accommodate income and personal preferences. Just be diligent on securing full prices! Make sure you understand that the price given for room and board doesn't include "medical." Another plus is the convenient location to the parkway. My mother is actually looking forward to moving in and being able to get involved with the social and therapy opportunities, and this makes both of us happy!

My Mom has been at Amber Court I believe close to 2 years now. From Day 1 my Mom has been very happy. Her caretakers are wonderful caring people, always there to greet you and answer a question. Anthena, her caseworker is the best, although as of now there is a newly assigned caseworker. I am sure she will be every bit as professional, and helpful as Anthena. All the staff are very friendly and my Mom is well taken care of. It's a relief to know she's in good hands. Thank you Amber Court for being a well run facility that puts the residents needs as a priority.

We moved my mom into Amber court in august 2022 a few months after dad died. She needed to start living her life again. From the start, Jill, Christine and Anthena have been great helping us, well done!. The staff including mom's main aid are wonderful. My sister is a resident at Amber Court Westbury and I am pleasantly pleased to see how well she is taken care of. Staff is friendly and informative. Whenever I visit I find her room spotlessly clean and she is always well groomed and seems happy. It was hard for the family to put her there but she needs 24/7 cate and we are not able to do that. It was a good choice for us. Thank you.

I got to experience your activities director, Ginger Bonner, for the first time. Compared to other activity directors Ginger is the gold standard. I am so impressed with her creativity and love for the seniors. She is a real asset to Amber Court!

I took a tour in hopes of placing my mom at Amber Court. I met with Jil and Laura who could not be more helpful and supportive during the tour and admission consultation. The community was spotless and the staff were professional and congenial. The activities and supportive services for the residents are numerous and diverse. I am of a medical background but a daughter first and look forward to having my mom live there.

Staff generally helpful but elevators not working today and of course not much individual care or engaging activities....staff has to scream to be heard by some residents in part due to hearing or memory issues, probably common at most facilities....also most likely understaffed...also common even at pricier places.

I accompanied a dear friend who is interested in care for her father who is recently widowed. We met with Jil who showed great compassion for my friend's loss and the concerns she had for her fathers care needs. Jil provided a comprehensive review if the services offered. She also took us on a tour of the facility and answered all our questions. Jil was very patient with our questions and concerns and was able to give us confidence in Amber Court ability to meet the residents needs. As we toured Jil knew all the residents and they knew her. We saw residents engaged in activities and dining options. My friend and I were impressed with the cleanliness of the residence and the friendliness of the staff. We believe Amber Court will be able to provide personalized care in a safe and friendly atmosphere. The activities and opportunities for social interaction were important and seem to adequately meet his needs. Jil was very knowledgeable regarding insurance payment. Just finished a tour at Amber Court @Westbury. The facility is beautiful, it's has big areas for the many activities offered but also has lots of little areas that feel like home (i.e., lounges, library). On-site doctors M-F, visiting specialists...what more could you need. Jil provided our tour and answered our questions making the decision to move our loved one easier. A staff we met had her own Mom there as a resident, I can't think of a better reference.

My brother and I had a tour at amber court with the director, Jill. She is a lovely, warm person. I loved the way she was friendly with the residents and went the extra mile to make them feel comfortable. This relatively small place feels like home. It has a lounge that feels like you are sitting in your living room. I like the effort thats madero help your loved one feel comfortable. Rooms are a little small, but there may be options to share a room that could work.

We were overjoyed to be able to have a visit with my mom after so long. Amber Court was so helpful in scheduling an appointment that would work so that I could bring my 12-year-old son. When we arrived, my mom was waiting for us and the visit was wonderful! Everyone at Amber Court was so lovely and so accommodating and I am so grateful that my mother is getting such a wonderful care! Thank you Amber Court!

I have worked with Amber Court of Westbury many times over my career. I have referred patients to them and have received patients from them for Sub-Acute Rehab. I can honestly say that the patients I have worked with from Amber Court and their families have nothing but wonderful things to say and are eager to complete their rehab so they can get back to their home. Working with Jil and the team at Amber Court is a true pleasure and they are top notch in what they do.

I went to visit my sister who resides at Amber Court in Westbury, Long Island. The facility is gorgeous. The building has only two floors, which make us feel being home. The staff was corteous and helpful. My sister is a very friendly and talkative person. She was proud to introduce me to the staff. She looks happy and well taken care of at Amber Court. I would recommend this facility to anyone who asks me.

The staff are wonderful to the residents and the administrators are very responsive to the familys concerns. Amber Ct. Smithtown is on its way to becoming a full service facility, with special events, trips and entertainment. Cant wait! Better than home!

My mom was at Amber Court from 2005-2014, they staff there is amazing I went home knowing she was taken care of and safe. She went in there with Dementia, they were so responsive to her needs, Ginger the activities director is amazing beyond words, my moms eyes light up when she saw her. Ginger gets tomkniw all the residents and treats them Like her own family. The management keep me informed on my moms case and when it was time to Move her into a nursing home they were on top of it. Its a top rare place and it was like family

Mom is safe in Amber court Westbury. Shes meeting new friends. She has 3 meals plus snack time. Her social life can be as full as she wishes. The physical therapy has added so much more energy to her life. She partakes in exercise classes everyday. The movies, discussions, doctors, and staff are all helpful and concerned. Mom enjoys the beautiful outdoor courtyard. She feeds the birds and takes her walks around the grassy areas. I visit daily and have only positive impressions. Mom is 96 years young.
