My mom has been in the memory care for almost 4 years! We’re so happy with the care, kindness and love given to her! We’ve had terrible experiences in Florida at 5 different assisted living locations! We feel blessed to have found Sunrise of West Babylon. I recently attended the support group offered by Corrine the Memory Care Floor Manager and Dorothy the Memory Care Activities Director! Wow - it was beautifully put together - as if we were sitting around someone’s dinning room! From the food, the entertainment, but mostly the safe environment for the family members to share the challenges we all face with family who suffers with dementia/Alzheimers! Thank you Sunrise for the “peace of mind” care and always going above and beyond for my my Mom!

The staff at sunrise of west Babylon are extremely dedicated to not only their residents but the residents families. I’m very grateful for all of the staff but especially to Dorothy and Corinne . They have started a support group for the dementia families to come and talk to others that are going through this horrible disease. Dorothy welcomes everyone and is so caring and supportive to all. I have joined the group and I am so blessed that sunrise has this support group.

I have the pleasure of working with the staff and the residents of the Sunrise of West Babylon, and I only have the BEST things to say about the facility and the team. From the moment I stepped into Sunrise, I felt like I was part of a big family with everyone caring for one another. The organization, efficiency, and genuine care that the staff shows for the residents is beyond excellent, and I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for the best assisted living facility in the area! A special shoutout goes out to Corinne, Carmelita, as well as everyone else on the amazing Sunrise team!

My sister Rosemary is a resident at Sunrise of West Babylon. She has dementia and can’t live at home anymore. She is in the memory care unit. It is very difficult for me to see the changes in her but I realize she is in the best place possible at this stage of her life. In order to cope with the situation I joined a support group that is facilitated by Dorothy Obrycka. There we discuss all the trials and heartbreaking realities of living with someone with dementia. Dorothy and coordinator Corinne LaCorte guide us through trying to understand our plight and those of our loved ones. I am very grateful I have this group to rely on.

I cannot say enough good things about the Reminiscence Floor. I met Corinne through networking and can tell the level of pride she takes on taking care of her residents. She is always planning such wonderful and interactive events. I plan to start attending her support group

My mom has been living here a few months now, and every time I visit or speak with her on the phone, she tells me how nice everyone is. The staff always seems cheerful and attentive to detail, like encouraging her to get involved with activities of interest. Shes made some friends and is more active than she was living at home. Overall, we are pleased so far.

Everytime I go to Sunrise to see my Mom, I like it more and more. My mom is happy and follows the daily schedule of activities. It's just been about 4 months since she joined the community and has made friends and says that no one complains, it's all good! The staff really helps out by mailing me my mom's business mail, and calling me when there is the slightest issue. One piece of advice is to not go with a landline there. I hated that company and we have gotten my mom a cell phone which she is using for the first time in her life! And at 95 that's quite an accomplishment! Her buds help her with that. I am happy that my Mom is being cared for by the staff at Sunrise!!!

The level of care at sunrise was outstanding. The staff seemed to really care about my mother during her last days. They were all friendly and supportive for our family. The facility is bright and beautiful. The other residents were friendly. When you walk in you get a great feeling, I was greeted by a friendly dog and smiling staff. On my mothers floor there was a cozy cat that sat next to the residents. Every aspect of the facility was to our satisfaction and we highly recommend Sunrise of West Babylon. Thank you to all the staff and people that work at Sunrise of West Babylon for the help they gave us. And thank you to the friendly residents that we met there. - The Priestley Family

This is a good community for my mom. The staff is caring and very nice My mom is happy with her room and the cleanliness of this environment. She likes the menu and the variety of the meals.
