Upper management only cares about the dollar signs, they are never around so the staff has no direction. Whenever there is a legitimate problem, like the windows that bring in all the cold air for two winters now, the Executive Director just gets all irate with the residents and belittles them. The "roll out the red carpet" for potential new residents, gives out false promises so then the "line staff" have to try and explain to upset residents, when they honestly have no clue what is going on because there is absolutely no communication with them from upper management.

My mother has been very happy at Baywinde for many years. There are plenty of people and activities that she likes to keep her busy and active. She has been able to maintain her independence well into her old age.

I am a resident. I like my room very much. The food is average as I moved from another residence. The staff is helpful and friendly. Quiet location but near Wegmans and Walmart Supercenter. A very good gerentoligist makes calls here. Especially convenient in the Winter time. Extra care is available from an experienced private care giver making rounds 7 days a week. I'll need her more as I become more I'll.
