The service, hospitality and staff are top notch here at Esplanade. Everyone is welcoming and Patrice has been an excellent partner for us for many years. We (Fox Rehab) are the therapy provider in the building so we are able to hear from the residents about how engaged they are in the activities and entertainment here. They love it and we love getting to work with everyone.

My mother has been at the Esplanade for only two months now. So far, we are thrilled with everything! The first thing we noticed was how friendly everyone is. As soon as my brother and I arrived (ahead of my mother, for moving items in), we were warmly greeted not just by staff, but by the residents, all welcoming us. All of the staff are friendly, including the cleaning person, and waitstaff. They introduced themselves to us and made it known that we can ask them questions or let them know if there are ever any concerns. I had to request a delayed cleaning once, as I was working remote from my mother's unit with a scheduled morning zoom meeting; and the cleaning person was happy to accommodate. On the first morning that my mother dined by herself (she was late to breakfast, and the dining room was practically empty), the server chatted with her and shared with her, her own background and such. My mother was delighted. We were (happily) shocked to learn that basic medical care and physical therapy can happen right in the unit of residents. They are very flexible with decor for the private units. They provided us with some initial furnishings which we can switch out with our own preferences. No rules about hanging artwork - we are free to nail things to the walls without concern. The food could be better. It isn't the worst, but isn't great. They are flexible with the menu and you can easily order some select items off-menu. I think their grilled cheese option is decent; and the macaroni or potato salads were good. My mother hasn't complained at all; the other residents with whom my mother dines seemed unimpressed with the food. The most disappointing detail is the lack of fresh vegetables. Fortunately for us, my mother prefers canned vegetables - so this is not a problem for her. She is also happy that she can get ice cream as dessert any day of the week, seemingly. The place is spotless and cozy. There are plenty of options for comfortable but sophisticated seating in the common spaces (including on each floor by the elevator bank). The artwork is tasteful and matches my mother's appreciation for European oil paintings/watercolor type of art. The team is responsive and eager to please. Patrice and Josephine are amazingly considerate and thoughtful. Both are easy to smile/laugh. Very easy to chat with. From the beginning, it felt like they were genuinely listening to us when we shared our backstory/concerns with them. The pricing structure is very straight-forward; no hidden fees. No long-term obligations. No gimmicks. Simply refreshing! We are very grateful to have found the Esplanade.

As a family member who visits often I can say without hesitation that it was the best decision to place our mother there. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. There are daily activities she enjoys as well as a hairdresser, podiatrist and home health attendants on premise. The laundry and housekeeping staff are pleasant and reliable. Administration is accessible and accommodating. There are daily specials to choose from in the dining room and also an a la carte menu if those options don't appeal to her. I went to visit a family member for the first time at the property. I was very impressed. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The apartment was really nice and spacious. I also loved the balcony. We sat out on the deck which was really nice. I toured the property and liked everything about it. I would definitely recommend this type of living.

So far my experience has been wonderful. The staff has been very warm and kind. Patrice has been a pleasure to work with, she goes above and beyond to accommodate us. My dad will be a full time resident in a few days. So far any of the residents I speak to are happy and like living at the Esplanade.

My Mom recently stayed at Esplanade August - October 2022 and unfortunately passed away due to illness. Just to mention the staff at Esplanade were kind, gentle, patient and caring. They really tried to do there best at all times. Also place was spotless, rooms were nice and food was great; they also have different recreational activities for the residents. Highly recommended!!

Esplanade is a very nice senior living home. The rooms are very large with kitchens. Many daily activities to keep the guests out of their rooms and to stay active. There are only 2 common complaints that I hear. The place is a little more expensive than other seniors living homes but Esplanade is luxury. The other complaint is the food. Not the greatest in the world. Everyone I speak to there loves living there dispite the common complaints.
