I recently worked at the landing of brighton and my experience was nothing short of amazing. Erica the ED is truly a natural born leader with so many skills and talents. The staff , atmosphere and residents are super. Avery the maintenance director as awesome so patient and kind. Joni the wellness nurse is by far the biggest blessing. Joni is everything a nurse should be. If i could rate this community higher i would have. Keep shinning bright at the landing of brighton.

I am very happy staying at The Landing. From the pleasant atmosphere, the Staff, along with the Aides, everyone goes out of their way to make the residents feel comfortable. The activities include games, musical presentations, outings to restaurants for lunch and shopping excursions. The kitchen staff offers some wonderful meals and a variety of choices. Religious services are included as well. Life is good at the Landing!!!

My brother moved in here a couple months ago and we couldn't be happier with his care. The staff go above and beyond to help him each day. They take the time to know their residents and help them acclimate. My brother is a proud veteran and he is now eating with other veterans during meals. It is so reassuring to have him tell us he's going to eat with his buddies. The food is amazing too which is very important to my brother. We are all having brunch with him Easter Sunday and he couldn't be happier to be the host. If you are looking for a place for your loved one to be treated with dignity and respect-this is the place…then you can enjoy being your loved one's family again instead of their caregiver! The fellas below left a seat open for you…just make the call!

From the moment I walked into The Landing on Brighton I saw genuinely, warm interaction between staff & residents. I saw community & support & had a positive feeling that this could be the place for my Dad. When I'd narrowed the field, ( to two places ) I brought my Dad so he could make his choice, but not be overwhelmed by more than he could handle. He also appreciated what he saw & he felt welcome. Sara, gave us a wonderful tour & was very helpful answering questions. The only reason we did not ultimately choose the Landing, is Dad chose to be at a facility closer to where his wife was moving. It was the right choice for them. But I am grateful to Sara for making a very stressful time, hopeful & positive. I'd also note that a friend's father had been a resident here and very much enjoyed The Landing & community as his home.

I could not give a more glowing review for this facility. This center saved me (and my mom) during a time that can only be described as a nightmare. From the moment I made contact with Sara, this staff has held my hand and gently ushered me (and my family) through this difficult transition. The administrative team has been an absolute joy to work with — Sara, Sheila, Kelly, Avery, Erica — all of them have been nothing short of fantastic! The care team is always kind and respectful with my mom. I feel confident knowing that she's getting her meds when she supposed to and the staff is always available to answer questions. (Ie: "did my mom eat lunch?" "When did my mom get xyz medication?"). The building is well-maintained and tastefully decorated. It's situated adjacent to a popular walking/biking trail and my mom likes watching the folks who come through the trail. The dining room is bright and airy with lots of windows. Best of all, I feel like I can resume my "normal" life now that my mom has the support she needs. A huge thank you to the staff at The Landing for saving me and my family and being there when we really (really) needed it. I am forever grateful.

I have a family member who has been at the Landings of Brighton for just over a year. My family member has been through some difficult times during that year, moving in, covid, and especially with the adjustment of her losing her independence. The people at the Landings not only helped my family member, but they did it in a caring and loving way. I cannot say enough about how wonderful the executive Director Erica Rosa is. She is a caring, knowledgeable leader, and has built a team around her that not only care for the residence but they care for each other. This makes for an environment in which you feel comfortable leaving a loved one. I wish I could name everyone else who has been supportive of my family member, but the list would be too long and I would be afraid of leaving an induvial out. I would highly recommend the Landings of Brighton .

I can't say enough about how great the Landing is. What makes it so great ? The staff! It seems like every employee is happy to be there and it shows with their genuine care for the residents. My mother has been at the assisted living facility for about 9 months and I am so glad we found the Landing. I know she is being taken good care of. It's like another family when I visit. Our Dad had a great experience at The Landing. The staff was attentive, caring, friendly and professional. He often mentioned stories about how the team looked after him and how well they treated him - from friendly good mornings he got most days to the kindness of the nurses delivering care. Our father suffers from late-stage Lewy body dementia, and after losing his wife early in 2022, we set out to find the “perfect” Assisted Living & Memory Care home for him. Our vetting process was comprehensive & meticulous, and after meeting with & touring numerous facilities in Rochester, our family decided to hand over the majority of our father’s care and well-being to the incredible people at The Landing of Brighton. If you are reading this, you understand what a challenging and emotional process this is. Without question, our family’s experience with the Landing over the past eight months has been nothing short of spectacular and we could not be more gratified with the thoughtfulness, devotion, and respect they have shown our dad and each of the other residents. Across the board, from the directors/administrators to the medical & activities personnel to the resident aids, maintenance, and other staffed professionals, we have been blown away by their attention to detail, empathy, kindness, and communication. In a community such as this, caring for adults at this stage of their life, all with varied conditions, requires special, special people. THOSE people are here. We visit our dad frequently and each time we are greeted in the reception area, we’re reminded what a fantastic decision we made in having our father become a resident and part of a family at The Landing of Brighton. It should be at the top of everyone’s list that is seeking an Assisted Living & Memory Care home for a loved one.

My mother in law has been at the Landing since July of 2019 During her time at the Landing she experienced one Covid lockdown which we feel was handled very well the staff kept us well informed and spent extra time with her to keep her spirits up and keep her occupied She enjoys her meals and the dinning room staff is very accommodating, the menu changes daily and the Chef is a really nice guy and completely approachable Housekeeping is attentive and thoughtful, not disrupting and intrusive They are responsive to requests or specialneeds Med techs are consistent and timely in medicine delivery and helpful with questions Front desk personnel have been exceptional , always willing to help or find help when situations arise Actives are always available and the present actives director is enthusiastic, pleasant and fun Her overall experience has been very good and we are very comfortable with her living there

We were very happy with the facility and the staff during my father's all-too-brief stay at The Landing (one month). He passed away shortly after his arrival and we were disappointed, not only to lose him, but to not have had longer with the Landing community and facility. It would have been an ideal place for him. The facility is pleasant and well laid out and the staff is caring, both those working directly with the patients and those in the office. We drive by frequently and have fond memories of both him and the support he got at The Landing.

The Landing of Brighton is an exceptional facility. My father was there for two and a half years before having to move to skilled nursing care. The staff truly knew him as a person not just as their job. They took on the role of family during COVID when we could not visit him. They dealt with staff shortages like all facilities but did so with hard work and smiling attitudes. While not 100% perfect (no place could be), my family and I could not have asked for a kinder and more home like experience for my dad. We are so grateful!

The Landing of Brighton has been a wonderful environment for my Father since his wife passed away. He was living alone with very little contact with others, as he was having some early onset dementia. At the Landing my Father has social interactions daily, participating in activities, dining with others and thriving. He is also given his medications daily and has his room cleaned, bed made and laundry done. He says boy this place is like a 5 star resort! What more could his family or he ask for. Thank you to The Landing for keeping my Father safe and happy!! .

Food is very good, rooms and decor are lovely. As of this writing, although licensed for enhanced care, they are not properly staffed to provide it. Staffing is thin on weekends and especially on long holiday weekends. Most aide staff care caring and competent, just not enough of them. Other paid staff are delightful.
