Very nice facility, small and quaint, which my Mom loves. The staff is responsive, caring and kind. My Mom was not interested in going to an assisted living facility, but after going through some medical challenges she accepted the idea and now loves the life she has. It is a daunting responsibility to find an assisted living facility for someone who has survived a stroke and other medical issues. SUNRISE Plainview was the choice. We started the long journey with the invaluable assistance of Michelle Martinez. Michelle took time to explain every step of the process. She knows well the organizational structure of the facility and has guided us as needed. We are impressed by the way Michelle goes the extra mile. She listens with patience and speaks with kindness, always with a smile in her voice. She is the type of employee who gives a good name to an organization.

Recently transferred my 93 year old Uncle from a horrible senior care facility in Levittown. We all had PTSD as it was traumatizing to see him literally not taken care of. Sunrise is a totally wonderful experience! As soon as you enter, you are greeted by Angela the receptionist who always gives you a warm welcome along with the rest of the reception staff, who are their to address any issues or concerns you may have. My uncle is well cared for and the Senior Care Staff could not be more accommodating. He is up three times a day out of his bed to eat in the dining hall where the other place left him in his room and in his soiled diaper. I would highly recommend this place as it’s a very difficult decision to part with your loved one and trust their care to someone else. They treat you like family here and he has also gained a few pounds from the delicious food here! If I could give this place ten stars, I would! Thank you sunrise for taking such wonderful care of our uncle he is so happy here and we no longer have to worry about him. Also Sara is wonderful who is in charge of the activities and entertainment and she is always planning fun events with singers and musicians and she plays games and has fun festive events for each holiday. She completely engages them and they are always smiling and enjoy her upbeat and very caring way about her. Thank you Sunrise for all the love and care!
