This is a small community tucked away on the North Shore. I live less then three miles away, but never knew it existed. As I looked into it as a possibility for my 82 year old father, I realized this is a hidden gem. The staff is absolutely wonderful to work with. Emails and telephone calls are returned promptly, even on weekends! Melissa was very patient while we went through the decision process to place him there, and once placed, so many others were very kind and helpful. Mary tended to every detail of his room as well as Mario. Krystal was patient in answering countless questions and Marven assisted with the medical transition. While my dad has been there less than a week so far, I feel confident he will have many happy years ahead of him there. He has complimented the food already which is a big plus! UPDATE: It is now 14 months since my Dad was admitted and I could not be happier with the medical staff there. Sonja is the main wellness director and all of them go above and beyond to answer questions and see to it that his medical needs are met. Shout out to Sonja, Maria and all the med techs. (Everyone else is wonderful too, but they get a special shout out.)

May dad has only been at harbor house for one month and I know it was the right place for him. The staff is amazing and he seems content. He has met people that he interacts with and hasn’t complained once. They are so accommodating and every one has so much patience. When I leave I know he is safe and I don’t worry!!!!!!

The Oyster Bay Campus is a fabulous place to live for your older adult live one. It is a loving, homey atmosphere for any senior to flourish . I would highly recommend both the assisted living and memory care. They are extremely attentive and intentional when it comes to the care and comfort of a loved one. Also, and very important, the chef is amazing and I love the food!!!

My experience at the Oyster Bay Senior Campus has been amazing from day one! It began with Melissa giving us a very well informed tour of the wonderful community, to having our loved one being able to live a full and safe life there! It gives me and my family great peace of mind and we thank everyone there for this from the bottom of our hearts!

It was an emotionally difficult experience watching my mothers dementia worsen. Harbor House was the perfect place for her and for us. The staff is caring and attentive. They understand her issues. And they are responsive any time I have a question or concern.

When looking for placement it can be heart wrenching and difficult to know you are choosing the right place. Melissa and staff at Oyster Bay Manor provide comfort in easing the anxieties of placement and provide a warm home like environment. Highly recommended.

Although I am in the very early stages of things, Oyster Bay Manor has provided a warm, comfortable, and helpful environment as I try to navigate what happens next. In addition to the property and facilities being designed with thoughtful intention, things are clean and well-maintained. More impressive is how thoughtful, supportive, and accommodating the team of employees seems to be. The director is lovely and kind, and it seems that her warmth has provided an environment that allows everyone to feel comfortable and happy which, of course, impacts the care of the residents.

I am writing this review as a current resident at Oyster Bay Manor. I knew during the past several years that I would need assistance in the coming years due to progressive health issues. It was not an easy decision to relinquish my independence, but I wanted to choose where I would go myself rather have the decision made for me. I did extensive research. My first contact was virtual due to COVID , and I did virtual tours of many places. When talking to the staff at Oyster Bay Manor, I felt an immediate connection, and my instincts told me, This is the place. The room was spacious and attractive. The cost was reasonable. However the willingness of the personnel to make me feel comfortable both physically as well as emotionally was exceptional. I am happy with my decision. I highly recommend Oyster Bay Manor on ever level. Now, its home.

Having taken care of a family member who has lived in an Assisted Living Facilities for over 20 years, and experienced them living at several facilities ( Bristal, Atria, Sunrise and Oyster Bay Manor) I can unquestionably say this facility is the gold standard of excellence. Unlike others which are far less quality run facilities..... (Bristal, Atria, Sunrises) this is a private, non corporate, truly caringly facility. Unlike the other corporate names: At Oyster Manor and Harbor House - many of the staff have worked here for more than 5-15 years, the staff is extremely well trained for those in needs of assisted living, dementia or Alzheimers. Their wellness department and nurses are always available 7 days a week to go over verification or changes to any medications. Family members are always welcome to visit 7 days a week. For any family in need of finding an assisted living facility or enhanced care facility for a loved one, this is the highest quality facility and best value (50-60% of the cost of the corporate names (Bristals, atria, sunrises) but they deliver higher quality care unquestionably. I wish my family found this facility 15 years ago. Unfortunately the corporate facilities (Bristal, atria, sunrises) on long island and surrounding area are focused on one thing and one thing only, profit. The staff turnover is very high, and the communication between the families and facilities are far less quality to Oyster Bay Manor- Harbor House. Id welcome anyone who wants verification on the other facilities subpar experiences to contact me via google message-email.

I worked at Oyster Bay Manor as the Wellness Director!! I loved all of my residents and my administrator, Krystal and the owner, Rachel!!! Life took me in a different direction, I moved out of state!!! I would definitely have my own family move into OBM or Hatbour House!!! This is the real deal!! They actually care about your loved ones!!!! Big brand names have nothing to compare about them!! Trust me as an RN, Im not in it for the money!! I want my parents as well as your patent to be well taken care of!! ... they are the best!!!!

The environment is comfortable and easy to live in. At this stage of my life, I enjoy the camaraderie that exists with my fellow residents. It makes me happy to be able to meet and converse with the other residents here, especially over a nice meal. There comes a time when you reach a certain point in your life where companionship becomes even more than it ever was. That is what Oyster Bay Manor is to me.
