We recently moved my 95-year-old mother into this assistant living, it was not an easy decision since she has lived by herself a long time. But the Promenade Staff Are absolutely wonderful, My family and I would like to thank each and everyone of you for the care of that my mother receives under your supervision.P.s. My parents have been thriving at The Promenade for over 5 years now. Our search was tedious and at times overwhelming before we found The Promenade. We are fortunate to have met with Karen and with her assistance and guidance we were able to place my parents with a staff that is friendly and courteous as well as an apartment well suited for them. We are happy with our decision and would without hesitation recommend The Promenade

As an assisted living facility, there are residents in the community that are total care, two assist an needing lifts. Short staffed an superiors not knowledgeable of residents or staff. Cleanliness in building needs improving. Some residents are a safety risk to all in the community due to mental issues whereas Promenade of Middletown are not equipped for their needs. All in all the aids do their best. Rate of pay does not equal the work load.

Im really glad that my grandmother ended up settling down at this home. Every time I visit, the feeling is so positive and welcoming. She found comfort and happiness in a way that I did not expect, given the abrupt change in her life after being independent for so long. The staff seem as good as can be, and there is so much engaging activity for her to participate in throughout the day. A lovely place with a nice courtyard. And really clean too. Im grateful.

I have been to the Promenade on several occasions. The staff, resident Christmas party is the best!The maintenance and housekeeping staff keep the community clean and smelling great. There is always a huge crowd in the activity room. The Resident Care Department, led by Marian, always make sure that the residents are attended to.Call and ask for a tour from Karen; you wont be disappointed!!

My 92 year old mother has been a resident at Promenade for more than 2 months and I have to say she is in very good hands. Karen and her staff, among them Robert who takes care of just about everything, watch over her constantly. Mom is happy with the food, her room, recreation activities with Steve and the beautiful garden courtyard with running steam and pond. She is checked in on three times every night. Our family feels she is very secure there. We wish to thank Karen and the entire staff, front desk, maintenance and kitchen for the care and attention given to Mom

I have attended a variety of events at the Promenade at Middletown and have found each visit to be very rewarding and wholesome. I was fortunate to meet Karen Treacy, the director of community relations, who takes great pride and joy in her work. Karen coordinates events and oversees the facilitys operations to ensure the comfort of residents and uphold a fulfilling quality of life.

I recently started working here and Karen Treacy has been in charge of my training and shes been wonderful; very thorough and personal training experience. The staff is very welcoming and willing to answer questions. This facility is much nicer than some of the other facilities I have done work at.

My mother in law fell in love with this place as soon as we saw it on our search for her new home. Pat, the activities director, gave us our initial tour and was so polite and friendly. We followed up with Karen Tracey for the million unexpected questions we had and everything has been a very smooth transition so far. This place is IT when it comes to Orange County for me. It is packed to the gills with wonderful staff and life. Karen is a wonder. Fun, caring and extremely knowledgeable. She makes this place tick! My mother and family have been treated with kindness, dignity and respect since I first walked through the doors of the Promenade at Middletown, three years ago.. The staff is well-trained, efficient and very eager to assist with the individual needs of each resident..There are many various daily activities and parties, as well..Thoughtfully planned and provided, are three meals a day with snacks available..The building and grounds are very clean and well-maintained, including a beautiful outside garden in the center..Most of all, I have the peace of mind knowing my mother is in a safe, positive, kind, caring and thriving atmosphere..My mother and family have been treated with kindness and respect..

I provide a free service to seniors to match their needs with Assisted Living communities. Promenade at Middletown often matches the client needs and I have had some very happy clients who have decided to make it their new home.The community is well run and has friendly staff, especially Marita, Karen and Berna.They make touring a new family a pleasure and there is never any pressure put on the familys to make a decision. The families are provided with a lot of support to help with a successful move in.

While fundraising for Relay for Life over the last few years I have been able to visit the Promenade on several occasions. I always have a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is warm, clean and inviting. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I am always fortunate enough to see Ms. Karen Treacy when I am there and she is always working hard to make sure that everyone gets what they need, including my friends and I, even though we are not residents.

When I told my mom she was going in to the Promenade she was upset and against it. Then she fell in love with the place and so did I. She was taken care of from the moment she walked in. From the receptionist, the case workers, the maintenance workers, etc. they all took care of her. All the needs I expected for my mom were met. She had her clothes washed, dried and folded on her bed. They had great entertainment, activities and medical care. And she made friends there. Keeping entertained all the time. They always kept me in the loop with any progress on her. As for the aides. My mom had the best aides there And she loved her aides. I love them too. Sadly my mom passed away a week ago and the Promanade employees reached out to me. I will forever be grateful to the Promenade for her care. Ive known Karen my whole life basically, and she is the most amazing, lovable woman. I know Im not around anymore but when I was, I know how caring and thoughtful she was at home and at her job, Ive went with her and her daughter Patricia to visit,help out a few times, all but great memories of helping out the senior citizens. Everyone deserves a chance of something good in their lives, Karen deserves this chance.

Ive been here almost seven years and I have had wonderful experiences. The seniors have enriched my life tremendously. The support of the ownership, coworkers and families makes my job fun and exciting. My assistant, Steven DeBuck, is a great asset to the activities department and we are lucky to have him!

My mother in law is living at The Promenade in Middletown. I cant sing their praises highly enough. The place is run like they are caring for their friends and family, not like its a business. They are incredibly helpful and supportive of the family members who are dealing with the complications and emotionally trying time in an elderly parents life. Moms care aides are so loving and helpful. She always is dressed beautifully and they even curl her hair! There is something to do all day long in which she can choose to participate or not. If there are problems, they are addressed immediately and fixed. The dining room smells delicious and the variety of food is abundant. If mom doesnt like the meal, there is always an alternative available. The staff has been incredibly helpful with insurance claims, medications and emotional support. Her room, and all the common areas are clean and tidy. I told my kids that if I ever need support they could happily put me there! Thanks to all the staff there for taking such good care of mom! It was a difficult decision but the best one we ever made
