I reached out to The Eliot at Erie Station looking for a suitable AL situation for my brother. I had the pleasure of speaking with Ms. Iris Hernandez, the Director of Admissions and Community Relations. She graciously agreed to give me a tour the very next day!! Iris listened attentively to my concerns. She heard and understood the urgency and my need to relocate my brother, a US veteran, from an unsuitable AL in the Bronx, closer to me and my home in the Hudson Valley. When I met Iris, just listening to her talk about the Eliot as "our home," you know, she truly cares. Iris is willing to do what it takes to fill each individual's needs; helping the resident to feel at home! Watching her interaction with the smiling and laughing residents is genuine!! She is their angel at The Eliot! Iris went above and beyond to assist me with the required paperwork and a timely move. My brother is home now!! He is happy!! I am happy because he is in a clean and safe environment where I know he will flourish! God has answered my prayers, and I am very grateful. I can honestly say that the management at this facility has gone above and beyond with helping me get situated and ready to move to my loved one into this assisted-living residence. I was at the facility for a tour with my family. My initial impression was how bright, clean and well maintained the facility was. Lisa M. and Iris were extremely welcoming and inviting. Such a breath of fresh air to speak with those who are compassionate and care about what they do and others. They had answered every questioned we had thoroughly. The interaction we the other staff was also very nice and informative.

We moved my brother-in-law into The Eliot a few months ago and they went out of their way to host a small wedding for him and his significant other. They did a great job including all of the other’s who live at The Eliot and made it a fun day for all!! Thank you ladies!

The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and caring. I have specifically dealt with Lisa and Betty and they do an exceptional job caring for the residents. There are a variety of activities available for the members such as crafts, bingo, and performers. I highly recommend the Eliot at Erie Station.

Working with with Staff like Sandra Gracia in getting my uncle into there facility where very helpful and got involved with paperwork. My Uncle is very pleased with the facility because he said himself," he is no longer in prison because the nursing facility he came from would not allow him outside and breathe fresh air. They make my Uncle feel very welcomed to be at the establishment.

The Administrator Lisa goes above and beyond with her help and thoughtfulness with any questions I have with my family member. She follows through with what she says she will do. I lived at the Eliot for almost a year. They moved me and kept over two hundred thousand dollars of my property. A TV, jewelery, clothes, radio and much more beware. They will say they have returned things which they have kept. Been told by others that my property has been picked through by staff there. One person Harold said I did not need need my TV my new home would provide it. A comment on what a deception this is. My intentions are to bring the facility to court

My experience with The Eliot, especially Sandra Gracia was very pleasant and the transition of my first client to The Eliot went so well that I then decided to recommend other clients there too. All together there was three of my clients who have been admitted to The Eliot and it all starts with that initial conversation, a tour of the clean facility, and the admission process. I have been a resident here at the Eliot at Erie Station,going on 2 years now.I find the Services to be Excellent,especially during the Covid Epidemic.The Mgmt staff was simply great,they was on top of everything.,the safety and well being of all the residents,still to this day they are amongst the ,most caring Ive ever seen.On a daily basis,The Adm.her asst.the Office Mgr.,The Case Worker,House Keeping Supv.and many of the supported staff are simply wonderful.Weve recently had a renovation to upgrade and expand our facility,the Regional Adm.who comes by often,brings us nice things to make our home very Beautiful.The entire Mgmt staff when Necessary will change out of their Personal Clothing and put on a uniform and, get their hands dirt by,Sweeping,Moping,Cleaning the rest rooms,or cooking whatever is called for,they are great

Fantastic place, staff working hard during the pandemic to keep the residents and visitors safe. Staff care for the residents but allow them as much autonomy as possible. The Eliot promotes a quality of life by keeping the residents autonomous but assisting as needed.

When I walked into the facility there were Residents sitting out front. Loved the decorations and the residents were very welcoming and engaging. Inside the lobby it was busy with Residents sitting, socializing watching TV, reading and preparing for their day. All staff I encountered were friendly, warm and knowledgeable. I was impressed with my time spent at The Eliot Erie Station.

My name is David Nikic, and I am proud to call myself the Administrator of The Eliot at Erie Station. I started here in 2012 as a Nurse. I immediately could feel the warm environment within the facility. After 4 years of providing Nursing services, I was given the opportunity of moving up the ladder to Case Manager. I spent one year as the Case Manager, and then was offered the position of Administrator. I am not only grateful for the opportunities that The Eliot at Erie Station have offered me, I have also enjoyed working in every capacity. My philosophy is that my facility needs to operate the way it would if I was looking for a home for a family member, and it does. I plan on staying here for many years. Not only am I happy working here, but the rapport with my residents is more of a family type which I would never want to leave.

I love working here. There is always a welcoming friendly face. Residents are always happy to see me. We go out on outings such as the Mall, restaurants, the library. Our residents enjoy Bingo, Lets cook classes, music therapy, and one on ones just to name a few. The Administrator David goes above and beyond his duties to make sure that the facility runs above par. Our supporting Management Team is top notch. There is no a situation that they cannot manage. I have never worked for a Group that is completely team driven. I have only been here 2 1-2 months and I have never been welcomed with open arms to which only made my acclimation much easier. We are more then a team we are Family.

Everything is going well for me. The staff are very helpful and give me no problems. The meals have been good. Once it was not good and I told them and I was given a roast beef sandwich for a substitution. They have activities and outings, I will be going on some later this week. They are on top of things and it is nice.
