Kind and caring environment. Reflections is a fine living space for our mom. She is surrounded with wonderful caregivers. The rooms are nicely appointed and always well kept.

My Mom has been in the Reflections unit of the Bristal at Massapequa for almost 3 years. The staff is caring and kind. They treat the residents with respect. They do their best to involve the residents in all kinds of activities such as crafts, exercise, and singing…… I wish my Mom was well enough to take care of herself. Unfortunately she is not. For this reason I feel the Reflections unit of the Bristal at Massapequa is the best place for her.

I was lucky enough to not only have one grandma live at the Bristal at Massapequa but I had two grandmas live there! I could not imagine my grandmas spending the end of their life anywhere else. The staff were so attentive, the facility is gorgeous (my grandma kept saying she feels like she lives in a hotel) and the food is exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make sure all of their needs were met and more. My grandmas loved all of the live entertainment and trips they took out in the community. You would be doing a disservice to your elderly loved ones by not moving them into The Bristal at Massapequa!

Suzanne who runs the dining with her staff is amazing! We’ve had many family dinners with our Mom and have never been disappointed. She always finds a way to accommodate a resident wanting to have a meal with their family. Without seeing her smiling face on an almost daily basis, life wouldn’t be the same at the Bristal!

Mom and dad have been very happy at the Massapequa location. The greet staff of Anna, Pauline and Collin are always polite, helpful and happy. Carla and her team have been great at handling the case management and everyday needs. Susan and the Wellness team of Chalita, Chantelle, Dion, Kirsten and many more have been so attentive and hands on with mom and dad. The whole staff has been so helpful in making sure that everyone is comfortable and well cared for each and every day. Thank you all!

I had the pleasure of meeting with Jon Taylor to discuss the needs of my mom, and he couldnt have been more insightful and compassionate. He took the time to answer all of our questions and show us around the facility for more than an hour. What impressed me the most was when he called to follow-up with us, and there was no pressure like some other places we went to. Great facility, great staff.

Our Mother has been a resident for almost 2 years. Covid 19 has been so hard on us. Moms 96th Birthday was a Zoom Party and Jennifer K and Jennifer A coordinated. It was a great!! Thanks to the Bristol and their great staff for their help!

My aunt has been a resident of the Bristal for two years. After visiting numerous facilities, I felt an incredible sense of security, trust and warmth when I first sat down with John and upon meeting the staff and residents during my tour. The facility is beautiful, elegant and exceptionally clean. All staff with whom I have been in contact have been attentive, professional, responsive and kind. My aunt is very happy and enjoys all of the activities and trips. Staff, starting with the front desk, are loving and friendly and go out of their way to engage residents and family members. This facility has done an extraordinary job of caring for the residents during the pandemic and keeping families informed. Despite working under incredibly stressful conditions, the staff always found the time to answer my questions and to help me to find creative ways of keeping in touch with my aunt.

After touring the facility (its top-notch) we decided this with the spot, and were happy that we did! Every time we visit, the place is immaculate and the staff is always friendly. My aunt loves the dining and the friends she has made. Sometimes when I leave, I wish I could check-in for a night or two. If youre considering a place for your loved one, visit this place!

The staff in the Reflections unit of the Bristal at Massapequa have been taking phenomenal care of my mom. My mom is also very happy there. The activities department also does an excellent job keeping the residents entertained and mentally stimulated. All in all, the experience we are having is beyond expectations

My mom has been in Reflections since Nov. 2015. Life treated her beautifully until my father passed away, and at 95, mom was no longer able to live alone. Circumstances after a fall made it difficult for her to be on her own. I had an easy decision in choosing the Bristal because a very dear friend had a relative here as well and I already was familiar with the facility. When the decision was made for her move here, everyone at the Bristal made the transition for her as simple as possible. Mom has a wonderful room with all the amenities, constant care and supervision, activities, field trips, three meals a day, helping and attentive aides, physical therapy when needed, and access to the whole facility if she is accompanied and supervised by a friend, relative, or aide. Her medications and in house Dr. visits are all handled by the staff and any concerns are addressed immediately. I would highly recommend The Bristal at Massapequa. It is a kind, caring, well organized, clean and modern facility. Rose P.

Remember the line from "Cheers" - everyone knows your name? Well the entire staff at the Massapequa Bristal not only knows everyone's name, but so much more about each resident! The quality of individual care and concern they naturally show is just amazing. And like a grand hotel, there are wonderful meals, lovely accommodations, beautiful areas to chat and relax, a variety of activities and weekly trips, on staff medical facilities, a Beauty Salon, a cinema, an exercise room, a computer center, a library... I know our friend is well taken care of as she has reached her 90th year. Thank you everyone at the Bristal of Massapequa! Julie & Ron Tedeschi

Mom's been here for 10+ months. Mom's experience (and mine) is absolutely positive. The staff is extraordinary and the recreation events -on and off premises- are non-stop! The facility is bright, lively and clean. If you have an elderly, loved one and looking for an assisted living location you must check out the Bristal at Massapequa. Highly recommended.
