While visiting my mother I was impressed with several staff members at Our Lady of Peace. Diane the nurse came and trimmed my mom’s toe nails after one of the staff let her know my mom’s nails needed trimming. Diane also took the time to show me how My mom’s nightly nurse is always kind and caring when helping my mom prepare for bed every night both ladies are always cheerful and smiling .

My wife was transferred from ECMC to Our Lady of Peace with care and understanding for her comfort. When she arrived at OLP she was greeted as if she were family. She was promptly placed in her room where she was well received by the staff and nurses. Very pleased with the exemplary service.

My uncle was admitted on a friday then became unresponsive sat.The staff were so kind.concerned.cried with my aunt and cousin.She was a nurse all her life.same for myself and our daughter.We witness such grace care compassion concern respect the kind we hoped we delivered to so many.We received it back 10 fold.He was given such dignity by all the staff no matter their title. I personally thanked the staff we had during those rough days.I was so grateful.my heart was full and I told that to the staff.We thpught he was going in for some rehab and respite for my aunt but Gid had other plans.Thank you is such a small thing but needs to be conveyed to the second flr staff.Outstanding display of human kindness professionalism and heart felt care.

Visited a long time friend. She was nicely dressed; room neat; no areas that had the nursing home smell. Staff were very friendly and the residents seemed content. The one negative was lack of staff available to assist with toileting. We waited at least 1/2 hour and the staff person was occupied with the person in the next room. I know it is not possible to have enough staff to avoid patients waiting for care. As a retired nurse I am well aware of the challenges that all health care facilities face. Bottom line - my friend is happy with your facility and appears well cared for.

My father was sent here after having an emergency while in town visiting family, We live in California now and all of his doctors are there. It was a horrible experience at Sister’s Hospital Buffalo. I was sickened when the doctor said he needs rehab before returning home I thought he couldn’t handle any more terrible treatment in this area but since he’s been here I’m so happy. The staff is absolutely amazing! The care that is given is terrific down to the food serving! . The facility is beautiful and they seem to really try to get all the permanent residence involved in activities. I loved it so much I told my son to fly me back here if I’m ever in need of long term /end of life accommodation! I feel safe returning back to California while he recovers because he’s in terrific hands!!

Our Lady Peace rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility is a top notch health care facility that provides excellent health services to individuals in the community. Whether is be a rehab stay or long term care OLP provides all the amenities to make you feel right at home! My dad was transferred to Our Lady of Peace from another facility and for the first time in a week I could breathe a sigh of relief and relax. As soon as I walked in the door I was transported to a beautiful, calm and cheerful environment. OLP exceeded all of my expectations from the wide open spaces, caring staff (staff was caring at his previous location just too few and overworked), bright clean hallways and windows, and spacious rooms! I am at PEACE !

I was warmly greeted by the staff! I arrived for a tour and was seen immediately. The facility was very clean looking and smelling. The living spaces are spacious and so too the hallways and eating areas. I love that the shared rooms are designed with some privacy in mind! I would love to have my husband be able to receive LTC there!

Great place for rehab. They treated my Mom like family as well as us. If we visited during meal hours we were fed as well. Highly recommend this place to everyone needing rehab. Special thanks to Amanda who really gives special attention to my Mom for her meals. She's absolutely incredible and she treats everyone there like they matter!
