I honestly could not be any happier with Peregrine. From the staff who answers the phone, to the nurses, to the aides, to the administrators. They are always available to talk to. Our journey was a rough one. My father passed away and even before he was gone, mu mother had a terrible episode where she called 911 on me (her own daughter) that she didn't know at that moment. To make a long story short. She was placed at a facility that was convenient to me because of the distance to my home. They were awful. My mom was a tough patient. She was out of control with her behavior and was kicked out of the place she was sent to at first. She was then denied by a handful of other memory care facilities. We then found Peregrine and Peregrine didn't give up on her. They agreed to take her as a resident. It was tough at first. I remember getting a call when she was having a very very bad day, the nurse wanted to see if I could provide any comfort to her but I couldn't. I told the nurse to just send her to the hospital. The nurse's exact words were "SHE HAS BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH I WILL NOT GIVE UP ON HER". My mom is living her best life because of the care she receives at Peregrine. The facility is clean, the residents are fed very well and there are activities for them. The accommodations are beautiful and most importantly the staff! They have all become so important to me. I find so much peace knowing my mother is taken care of and loved.

My mom and dad moved to Peregrines 1.5 years ago. Dad has passed and mom is in memory care. I have made many difficult decisions over this time and have found the administrators kind, caring and helpful. They have been only a phone call away. The staff have been like family....so nice to hear when one of them say how much they love my mother. Thank you

The nurses at Peregrine are loving, caring, kind, and put the residents needs first at all times. I love coming to work every morning and working here at Peregrine. Best thing about coming to work is seeing the residents.

At the beginning of COVID mom and dad were failing in their home. Family were staying with them 24 hours a day. We could not find any help. Through a Place for Mom we found Peregrines in Cheektowaga. They were wonderful. Sure COVID created problems but they were well cared for......the Peregrine's staff became family. It has been a year and a half....Dad has passed and mom is in Memory care.. We have met new staff and they are now family too. We only have praise for everyone who works there. What a great bunch of people.

The loving, compassionate care my grandfather received at Peregrines was second to none. They seen him as a whole person. They celebrate what is unique about each resident. Genuine care. The grounds at Peregrines are clean, bright, and welcoming. The memoy care wing offers a safe environment for the challenges that come with aging adults. Would I like to live there when the time comes? Yes!! You should ask yourself that when choosing a place for your loved one.

The administration and staff are amazing and work so hard to take care of those residents! The building is in the process of getting remodeled and just the small changes already look amazing! I cant wait to see how it turns out!!

My mother has been a resident at Peregrines Landing in Cheektowaga for nine years, and although there certainly have been some ups and downs, it has been a very caring and compassionate place for her. She turned 96 in May, and Im never worried that her needs are not met or that she isnt cared for. If I have any concerns I contact the administrators who work there, or head coordinator, and things are handled immediately. I highly recommend Peregrines Landing for assisted-living. Its smaller than some of the sprawling assisted living residences in the area, and its been wonderful to get to know the residents and staff. I feel like they are all part of my family.

Great facility that cares for its residents. The administrator and her staff ACTUALLY care about the people living in the building, and will do whatever it takes to benefit them. It is a difficult process for each family to have a loved one live in assisted living, but you can be confident in choosing Peregrine's Landing.

This July marks my mother's 8th year at Peregrine Landing in Cheektowaga. She is happy as a clam there; loves the staff and activities/entertainment...the scenic rides and other activities that Priscilla and Maddie organize and run. She enjoys the food and friendship of other residents. I love that it is small enough that I have developed a relationship with many administrative and staff members and feel that if I needed help with mom, they would be there to assist. That is perhaps the greatest comfort for me. Before mother and I chose Peregrine Landing eight years ago, we looked at others in a similar price range....and none compared. Have there been occasional problems? Of course, but I've always been able to work them out with the staff who are great listeners and were willing to work with mom and me. Peregrine Landing would be an excellent choice for anyone looking for assisted living.

It seems to me that either disgruntled (former) employees, persnickety residents, or children of the same who think it's a hotel would tend to rate low. The job, no doubt, is one of the most challenging to anyone, e.g. St. Mother Teresa, but the people there are as good as they get. A have a family member there and am constantly challenged by passive aggression and frequent memory loss. Sometimes it's a win/win and other times not in the least. I can only imagine what it's like to be confronted and resolve the most minor of issues multiplied by 100 residents and twice as many family members on a daily basis no less! My family member is now 'content', safe, housed, fed, and well cared for. Who can do better?

I'm heavily involved in nursing facilities and senior care homes. Peregrine Landing in Cheektowaga is one of the best I've seen. Ms. Wiberg has collected as many people she could find that reflect her personality which is shown through the passion, excitement, and genuine enjoyment exhibited by everyone there, including the residents. Strongly suggest taking a tour if in the area. Top of the line.

Great facility. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate you. I felt comfortable with our dad staying there while he recovered from some recent surgeries. The food was very good too!
