Wonderful facility a caring staff. Its clean, smells good. Appropriate activities for the residents they follow up on everyones care. The only complaint is the food is not always tasty per some residents. But I will say that the residents are use to home cooked food.

I cannot say enough good things about Elderwood at Cheektowaga. Both of my parents lived there in the skilled nursing facility for the last two years until their deaths. My Father died in January 2020 and my Mother in April 2020. During their time at Elderwood Cheektowaga, my parents received the best care possible. The staff treated them with professionalism, respect and love in all matters. I cannot imagine a better place for them to have spent the last years of their lives. Thank you!

My mom has been staying at Elderwood for both rehab long term care, and they have been terrific. They were very very helpful with the transition and helping us with the financials. They kept us informed through the entire process.

My mom has moved into Elderwood Assisted Living at Cheektowaga. It has been wonderful. It is everything we thought it was going to be. They have done a marvelous job. I can't say enough about them. As far as I know and as far as I could tell from my mom, the amenities are all really good. She is adjusting as well as can be expected for somebody that you put in assisted living, but she is doing well. They have everything she wants and more. Her accommodations are great. She is in a one-bedroom suite, and it is perfect. The staff has got to be the high point. They're great people. They really are. They will do anything for her, and they have been really accommodating. I have no complaints at all. The facilities are perfect. It is one of the reasons I chose it. It is right in the wooded area on a river. It is really pretty. It offers lots of opportunity for them to walk around the grounds. There are paved paths too. It is actually pretty good. They have lots of activities. There is stuff going on every day. It is not cheap, but the value is there.

We recently moved our Mother in to the Elderwood Cheektowaga Assisted Living facility. The interactions withe staff have been exceptional from our initial site visit through having Mom at the facility. The staff exudes a high level of commitment, compassion and professionalism in all aspects of their responsibilities. We have been impressed with the overall focus to making Mom feel welcome at the facility and the extra focus to orient her to the new surroundings. We are extremely happy that we chose the Elderwood Cheektowaga facility for our Mom.

Our family first met with Elderwood Assisted Living Cheektowaga in the fall of 2017. My mother in law had several mini strokes. After discharge from the hospital, we contacted all the recommended home services pt ,op ,aids and meal on wheels and of course we were there daily. It soon became apparent we needed more help. We explored many facilities but on our first meeting with Elderwood we absolutely knew we were in her new home. They were extremely patient and helpful explaining the process. They worked with us and answered all our questions. Every staff member from reception, nursing, case managers, community relations to administrator were compassionate and professional. Overall our experience with Elderwood Assisted Living has been a good one. The staff is very compassionate, and they do a great job explaining everything that is going to be going on. We had a few difficult situations arise with my loved one, and I think they handled them all very well. Based on our experience I would recommend them.
