Short staffed is a way of life in this facility, with both Aids AND Nursing staff. We visit our family member on Saturdays and recently they were hours behind in receiving their morning meds. That is a travesty when their roommate was rocking and crying from pain. It's also not fair to the nurse, who get stuck short handed & is pressured expected to get medication delivered ASAP. I will give Kukos the the nurse doing meds on Sat 7/27. She was polite and professional, in spite of the pressure being put on her.

I'm still here and only been here overnight and I still have a few weeks here, but I have a complaint already the pt staff can be very persistent when u tell them you don't feel well they still want you too do things the nurse lady told that my blood sugar was Low the (PT) LADIES THE BLONDE HAIRED ONE WAS all over me wanting me to do all kinds of (PT) stuff even after the nurse lady told me that my blood sugar was Low. I told her I was not feeling well and she still didn't care about my feeling or my health I started to get very angry and up and they wouldn't let me eat. I began to cry inside and I was afraid that my blood sugar would go even lower I had to go and get help from some other staff members, which they was very helpful and understanding the other nurses and this tall brothers he is Brown skin at least 6'3 230lbs.he was very uncomfortable to to talk too and understanding to what I had to say. Also I just had chest( SURGERY). Want me too stand on an amputated foot.

Recently had to visit a family member at this facility. Walking up It stunk like garbage, urine and other body fluids. This smell continued throughout the time I was there. The nurses were unprofessional and disrespectful to the other individuals at the facility. An older gentleman was walking the halls from the waist down bare; another individual was struggling to get around the hallway alone. I would not recommend anyone's family member to go unless you don't care how they are cared for.

I see the hard work and dedication by the employees to provide excellent care for the residents.

It seems some neglect has been in the works. Like my roommate borrowed my wheel chair and left it behind where he got his rollator. I want that Wheel chair back. Then City Missions are giving me the worries about all my belongings all because I had to go to the hospital for surgery and there was no room for all I owned as it was on the ambulance.

I would highly recommend this facility for anyone that's in need of a caring facility. Taking care of my mom, who recently passed away. The care given was the special care and attention she needed, during her time of needing special care. She knew most of the staff on a first name basis and they knew hers as well. She really felt like she still mattered and that was important to her. Whenever I came to visit with her, it was never a scheduled visit, due to my schedule. When I arrived, she was always clean, fed and in good spirits. I would like to thank the staff for the they gave my mom. For making my mother's final days peaceful.
