I've been to other nursing home facility. And I have to say that this place is one of the best by far. An everyone here is so friendly. My husband is in nursing home floor now not in Rehab anymore. I have to say they take care of him an plus the food his good. Thank you for a wonderful. Concert for all the September birthdays on the nursing home side plus Can't forget the assisted living side wonderful entertainment so nice. I was able to Check both entertainers an William really enjoyed the Concert. Happy birthday to my Billy that's what I really call him an people that really know him call him Billy

Firstly, the PT staff & nursing staff were exceptional. Secondly, my Pain Mgmt Dr was on point. I am grossly disappointed in the person (s) responsible for emailing my pharmacy in Hawaii with the prescriptions that I so desperately in need of. Thanks to them I need to wait for my primary dr to obtain them!

My father was there recovering from knee surgery very compassionate helpful kept clean great experience. The physical therapy people were phenomenal my father still talks about how great Miriam and Ian were.

Do your research if you love and care about your family don't every bring them here my mom was there 11 days and the morning staff was very nice but night staff was horrible especially knowing my mom couldn't walk on her own or by herself she was at risk of falling and the night staff had the nerve to tell my mom I don't care go to the bathroom alone and when I transfer out they basically was kicking her out didn't call me at least before ambulance came my mom had to asked them to call me this is not a place for elderly that needs care the only thing I can say good about this place is the rehab and norma was excellent treatment with my mom besides that this place needs new management for night staff

Today is a momentous day. My Uncle has ben discharged from rehabilitation at the Norwegian Christian Home. He is not only physically improved but has been spurred on emotionally and spiritually. I attribute his renewed conditioning to the excellent care he received. I would like to thank Karen Johnson social worker for taking my numerous calls and questions. Your guidance kept us on track and my Uncle loved when you peeked in to share a kind word with him. I would also like to thank Lia, Anita and Giovanni for your patience with my tedious questions. Lastly, I would like to thank Reverend Will whose guidance does not go unnoticed. A quote from my Uncle. "The therapists were great and the food is good." Thank you Norwegian Christian home for an exceptional outcome.

Clean, friendly and reliable facility. Their staff cares about the residents and their families. My father really benefitted from their sub-acute rehab program and was able to return home in the best shape we have seen him in recent memory. Highly recommend!

I have been reading the reviews and felt I had to write about my moms experience. Please keep in mind everyone is entitled to their own opinion. My mom was admitted in November , 2021 and I have to say her experience was very positive. When I first contacted Tina in admissions and met with Karen the social worker I found them to be both compassionate and extremely helpful. When my mom wasn't eating the Dietician spoke with me and immediately changed her food. Like anywhere else you will be hit and miss with the employees especially now with Covid the whole world seems upside down. The aides always attended to my mom and my mom had to learn patience because they have many patients. Norma, Jackie and Divia were wonderful and my mom felt Vera was the best nurse ever. I also found the receptionists to be very cheery. So while I can understand people having different experiences and my moms wasn't perfect I wouldn't want the whole place to be painted with the same brush. These are very trying times and I appreciate how Norwegian treated my mom.

They have a Wonderful Christmas Eve Dinner for residents and family. There's a area with a Pond and Gazebo where you can relax and enjoy nature. They have a library with lots of books. Occasionally they bring in people to play guitar and sing with the residents which really helps cheer them up! —

We contacted Norwegian Christian Home and Health Center because we were looking for a location nearby to host a party. NCHHC has an event space that they rent out, Arthur Nilsen Banquet Hall. Renting the hall is reasonably priced, its very spacious and clean. The staff (Judy in particular) was very friendly and helpful in answering all our questions before we booked the hall. Great Space, Great Staff, we had an amazing party at this location.

Are you all kidding ,, this place maybe good for rehab but if your a resident there it's horrible,,every time I visit I get sick to my stomach , it's dirty , the visiting area has old stained chairs ripped wallpaper on the walls , a ripped up block cushion that the residence use to put up their feet,, it would be nice if the furniture was replenished and inviting,, they surly need more cleaning staff, and some of the nurses have bad attitudes as if your bothering them, it's very sad this place needs an upgrade in the worst way.
