When I entered through the doors. I walk my way up to the smiling faces of the receptionist desk. That was a warming greet. I told them who I was visiting .They ask if I sign in .I said no.I didn’t know I had to someone walk with me and help me to sign in.That was awesome. I took the elevator to the floor that I had to go to.I walk to my friend room . I didn’t see her. I asked a nurse and they told me were she was. I had a wonderful visit .by Everyone being helpful and friendly it made my visit welcoming.

It's never easy leaving a loved one in the care of strangers. Like any rehab/nursing care facility, you do need to be actively involved but overall this place was truly wonderful. The nurse, Lyubov, was attentive knowledgeable & compassionate. The physical therapists, Elka & Alex were truly amazing. They were encouraging, empathetic & very experienced. The doctor, doctor Mike, was also wonderful, he even gave us his cell number to calm my worries when she was admitted. From Kathy in insurance who also gave me her cell number & helped me navigate all the confusing coverage details to ensure a smooth experience, to the social worker Eva who was always easily available to answer all questions & guide us, the people there were exceptional. The only downside is the aides. They are understaffed so the response time to certain needs is pretty bad. Sadly, aides are a huge part of the overall care satisfaction so this seems like a ridiculous thing for the administration to overlook. If you are in contact with your loved one and reach out to the nurses if the aides are delaying response, you do get the help needed. It shouldn't be this way but it is and considering many other places that have so many more issues, I don't think this was a reason to give them a bad review. The place is immaculate & the food is healthy. The only thing that needs to be changed is they need to hire more aides. If you have a loved one in need of care & are trying to decide where to send them for a quick recovery this place can be trusted.

April 2026
Everything about my experience was outstanding. The receptionist was kind and efficient during check-in, setting a positive tone right away. The nurses were professional, gentle, and thorough, not only in asking detailed questions about my preparation, but also in taking the time to clearly answer all of mine. The anesthesiologist was equally exceptional, carefully double- and triple-checking that everything was safe before proceeding. She was incredibly kind and made sure I felt fully informed and comfortable, with no unanswered questions. Dr. Bonapace and his team were excellent. He explained the procedure thoroughly beforehand, and everything went exactly as planned. Both before and after, he made sure I was comfortable and well cared for. The team also ensured I was fully recovered before leaving, even providing juice and cookies, which was a thoughtful touch. I’m truly grateful for the level of care I received”not just physically, but on a human level as well. Everyone treated me with genuine kindness and respect, and it made all the difference.

Worst rehabilitation center experience. I have never experienced such rude and careless staff. They are dealing with human lives and families, not objects, and unfortunately it often felt like they did not care. My family member was transferred here from the hospital and stayed for about a week and a half to receive IV antibiotics. The first bad impression happened the very first night I came to visit. It was around 9:45 PM on a Tuesday. I had never been to this building before and did not know which floor my family member was on. I approached the security guard and politely asked where her room was and how to get there. Instead of helping, he simply raised his hand and pointed toward the back while pausing a video he was watching and eating chicken wings. He did not explain anything, so I had to figure out how to get to the elevators and find the room on my own. That night I stayed with my family member, and unfortunately the experience with some of the CNAs was also very disappointing. At one point my family member needed to be changed. When I asked the CNA her name Jean Pierre (always has a cover on her head) assigned to the second floor if she could please change her, she responded with a rude attitude and said, Again? I just changed her. I asked if she could at least give me a diaper so I could do it myself. She said she would come back, but her tone and attitude were very unprofessional. The following night, another CNA came around 10:44 PM to check on her. I asked if we could please change my family member because there was a strong smell and I believed she had had a bowel movement. The CNA said it was just the bathroom smell and not my family member. I explained that she had last been changed around 4 PM and asked again. I ended up opening the diaper in front of her to show that it was completely full. She then left the room upset, speaking in Creole to other staff members. She eventually came back with a diaper, and I helped her change my family member because I know it can be difficult due to my family member’s religious beliefs. If staff members do not want to work with patients who need this type of care, they should not be hired. Patients deserve dignity and proper care. Another concerning moment was when the Department of Health was expected to visit. The manager was yelling at the CNAs in a very rude and disrespectful way. That kind of leadership may be part of the reason the staff seems so frustrated and careless”there does not appear to be support from management. I do want to mention that the LPNs were very kind and helpful, especially a male nurse and Gladys, who always tried to answer my concerns. Also, one CNA named Michelle was very kind and attentive. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this facility based on how patients and families are treated.

It about sharing experience, talking to them, putting a smile, so much wisdom, but the wisdom is about LOVE. Respectful manner, and sharing a belief that GOD is eternal. FEAR OF THR LORD, AND LOVE OF ONE ANOTHER. TIME IS SHORT.

pros: nice facility. good food. lots of activity. great physical therapy. entertainment & enrichment. cons: Therapy is what they are good at. if you need anything else, then tough luck. My father was there. need ostomy care. none provided. ostomy kept on falling of, so I (son) did it myself. and already on my first try it did not fall off. because I followed instructions. But every time nurses changed bag it fell off. they simply did not follow manufactures instruction and did not prep skin. So I provided care - for the main reason he came to rehab. they did nothing Also my father needed specific diet for ileostomy. took me more than a week till they adjusted the diet. gave me the impression my father was the first ileostomy patient they ever encountered. my father was losing 2 lbs. each day. they never noticed and did nothing after I brought to their attention Staff is generally not responsive. sometimes rude. there's nobody to talk to. they don't follow up on promises made. for instance it took then 5 requests & 13 hours till they got around to put a bandage on an infection. unacceptable conclusion: if all you need is (billable) therapy then go there. they are great. for anything else, go somewhere else.
