This is not a place I would choose for myself or for my loved one. The apartments are nice, the facilities are nice. There are some issues that I take with some of the aides that come to see different people in the second building that I'm visiting or the first building and come in the wrong entrance. Their attitudes are not kind, the comments about the people who live in the building to whomever they're talking with on the phone are egregious, disrespectful, deplorable, and need to be reported to whomever they work for. Bringing it to the attention of the building personal does you no good, so don't try. The amount of rent that is charged should allow for a recycling bin in the trash rooms that are on all of the floors. Unfortunately, there used to be one and for some reason, the bin was removed. Now, we get to "stack" recyclables next to the trash. You can all imagine how well that works. The weather has been horrible lately and it is winter so we adjust and dress appropriately. However, some of the residents that live in the second building believe that they are apart of the Indy500 team Hot Team. The Hot Team works with the Pit Crew to test tires, check on tires, check on drivers after CRASHES, etc. See where I'm going with this? Considering the temperatures continue to go up and down and Mother Nature can't decide if she's going to defrost and bring Spring or continue to see if we are officially turning into penguins, the parking lot remains an ice skating rink. For those of you that are wondering, there is on site maintenance and security cameras both in and outside the building. Maintenance is always prompt with fixing anything in the apartment, they are kind, and approachable. The property manager, Sharon, she is also kind, and approachable which are pluses. They are perfect for problem solving and easy to talk with. These are things I look for when I look for places to live.

GET EVERY THING IN WRITING!!! Lived there three years in three different unit, if you keep to yourself everything will be relatively ok, some senior residents hate the fact that younger folks live there aswell. Property Manger made couple of mistakes on important paperwork and almost lost 1/3 of my security deposit by sloppy paperwork (this did get corrected hence the updated review). Practically get everything in writing and make sure you keep your documents for everything

We moved in the Chateau Heritage on July 1st,2023 and never looked back. It is absolutely perfect. Beautiful, spacious apartments that all are meticulously kept. The rent is reasonable and includes our utilities. Really, you need to visit to understand! The employees and residents are all extremely friendly and supportive of each other. There is a weight room, salon, and an in-house physical therapy presence. It is great being in the quiet, scenic beauty, yet Brockport and just about everything one could hope for to make their home.

My mother-in-law lived here for about two and a half years. She loved the small community feel of the building and the amenities that were available to her. She frequently used the puzzle room, and the large kitchen / meeting room that renters can reserve for activities is a great spot for a larger gathering that won't fit it an apartment.

If you are 55 or older I highly recommend the Chateau at Heritage Square. It's a beautiful building, less than four years old, and the Cabot corporation and staff keep everything looking like new. The staff are friendly and efficient, and always willing to make sure you are a happy resident. The amenities include free wi-fi, spectrum cable, heat, AC, garbage removal, a workout room, a sauna and a library. It also has an activities director, hair salon, and a restaurant with a resident discount. My parents have never regretted moving from their house into their apartment. They love it here. You're never alone unless you choose to be and downtown Brockport is less than a mile away.

We moved here almost 9 months ago and haven't had any issues. With just one price, you get an all inclusive apartment with so many activities to chose from, a salon, a sauna, a restaurant and you can even can get a massage. The area is peaceful and quiet and all staff members bend over backwards to address any issues you have. Come take a tour and right now they are offering specials you would be crazy to miss out on. 2 free months of rent. What a deal!

The Chateau is one of Rochester's best kept secrets. This 55+ community is tucked away in Brockport, NY far from all the congestion of the city but close enough to all types of things to keep you busy. The small town of Brockport, NY is a short 5 minute drive away as well as Wegman's, Walmart and lots of little shops. The Chateau itself has many amenities, including a full restaurant that's open to the public, fitness rooms, saunas, hair salon and coming soon yoga, nail salon and massage room. Do yourself a favor and take a tour if your thinking about the move to apartment life.

Warm and welcoming from the minute you walk in the door. Beautiful water fall outside as you walk in. Amazing fire place in lobby, and just as wonderful restaurant The Madeleine (open to the public). Meg is in the salon and does a wonderful job on your hair and there is a spa too! There are so many things to do for the residents through out the week. Very warm and inviting place.

The Chateau at Heritage Square Apartment's has everything you need under one roof and in Brockport, conviently located near route 531. The Chateau includes a Spa / Salon, Madeline restaurant that is also open to the PUBLIC, and a 55+ community. The Chateau is a must see property with everything included and a little country living! As some residents would say it's like a cruise without the water!

Not impressed. Unorganized, 40 minute wait for an egg salad sandwich and a julian salad. Creme brulee was oily. Our waitress may have been new because she didn't know anything. There were only three tables and a party partitioned off, which was almost over, when we arrived for lunch.

The place is beautiful inside and out. Greeted at the door by a putting green and a small water feature. Staff was friendly and eager to assist. Not full to capacity yet, and it's a country mile from town.

Had the pleasure of dining at Madelines at least twice and each time they surpassed my expectations. The atmosphere and staff is top notch! The food is excellent and the menu is extensive! Best kept secret on the west side of town! Well worth the trip!
