My mom lived at Atria for 6 years. It was a fabulous experience. The facility is very well designed and spotlessly maintained. The staff is well trained and very aware of the residents' needs. We could not have asked for a better assisted living experience.

I chose Atria for my 93 year old dad and it was a mistake (for him). He lasted there for only 3 weeks. It's a very nice place and I think for a younger parent it is one of the best in town. He simply couldn't adjust to being in a separate apartment after living with family.. even with the "pop in and out" assistance they offered. The Covid restrictions had relaxed to allowing us one visit per week but I assumed that people there were used to helping new residents acclimate. If I had been able to visit, I could have helped him but with Covid, it wasn't possible. He received zero orientation from staff besides the initial sales tour a week before the move in. He didn't know his way around at all. We, as family, were also not given any instructions about how to arrange for pickups or visits, or even told about their very cool APP which would have helped us help him remotely. There was no "ambassador" buddy assigned to him to introduce him around. His first night there, he was not given dinner OR ANY of his meds and no one checked on him. Luckily I had put a camera in his room so I could report that and things did improve. One staff person DID make the effort to get him to exercise class the first week, but he couldn't remember the next week on his own. So it fell on me to call him to remind him of events and classes and hope he would get to them. When I asked to pay for a higher care plan to escort him to events, they said they couldn't do that and told me to hire outside caregivers for him, which I did. He started skipping meals (it's not fun eating alone in your room), became seriously dehydrated , anemic and weak and fell 3 times in a week that caused a serious brain injury. This was the same guy who walked 1/4 mile a day (accompanied) prior to moving in there... and never fell at home...always dressed and undressed himself and always ate a full plate of food at our table....so it was completely unanticipated. When I spoke to the management they said he was fine, that they often saw him at events or walking the halls and that it just took old people awhile to acclimate to change. I am not blaming them although it would have been nice to have a heads up that he hadn't been eating and was suddenly too weak to dress himself. He has been hospitalized for 2 weeks and has lost 20 pounds since the move. I thought he was doing "too good for a memory care facility" and he had no skilled nursing care needs. At his advanced age, all of this could also have happened here at my house or anywhere else. Maybe it was just his time to get sick. Another problem was also that it happened so soon after he had moved in and they didn't have a "base line" for him so they didn't realize how fast he was going downhill. Anyway, it's a nice place for someone in their 70-80's to move into and live into their 90's, but don't expect the really elderly to adjust to closed door apartment living. He'll do much better in a more open door room environment (like memory care or a board and care home) where people are gathered from their rooms to a common area to be observed.

Toured the community for my mom after visiting 4 other local communities, I was so impressed by Atria Seville. The minute we walked in we were greeted by the front desk, she was warm friendly and very attentive to the residents around her. The tour was very thorough, community is very active, huge bridge club which mom is excited about. Erica did an amazing job! Mom will be moving to Atria by the end of the year..

I visited and toured with Jenny. She did a wonderful job of answering all of my questions. The plan was to bring my mother out from California and we were both excited about her joining the Atria community. I received amazing assistance from Jenny, Christine and Phyllis every step of the way. Unfortunately, my mothers health prevented her from leaving the immediate area she is in. I have nothing but good things to say about the help I received and do hope I have the opportunity to spread the word to someone considering a move there

Atria Seville is SUCH a lovely active senior residence - and their Engage Life director, Jill Ann Biondo, makes sure they have LOTS to do in staying active and engaged! My Speakeasy Swingers swing band plays there frequently and its always such a joy to see such a large turnout of residents every time. The decor is always highlighting the residents (both now on a TV screen that rotates through pictures) and yesterday (with pictures of residents in their military days, etc.) on the walls. And the party decorations! Jill Ann knows how to throw a party! And all the residents really appreciate that their calendar is filled with things to do and performers and bands to see--who come to their living room to make it easier for them. I love seeing how many residents have their pets staying with them and how homey each of their rooms are. Thanks to the staff and residents of Atria Seville for always making us feel SO loved and welcomed! Keep on jazzin!

Moving into Atria Seville feels like a five star community with a home atmosphere of family and friends. The building is beautiful, the dining is fabulous, all kinds of entertainment and activities to fill your day. The care staff are the best a what the do, the treat everyone as if they where their own mother or father. Several of the staff have been here for more than 10 years so that says alot about Seville.

Working with Atria-Seville, and Jill Ann Biondo, has been a pleasure for me. I do a tea talk there once a month, and Jill Ann always has the room ready, sweets to go with the tea, and sometimes an extra special activity that we do together. The residents are always receptive to the activities, and I look forward to my visits every month.

I have been a resident here since June 2013. I could not have made a better choice of where to spend mygolden years . The facility is great, the staff is even greater; and the service and meals are outstanding. I have made many new friends that I enjoy sharing endless activities and entertainment with, especially the Happy Hour.I have a great little apartment in which I can spend my private time, without interruption, if I so wish, to read a book or watch television, etc. I especially enjoy the Blackjack Games dealt by Samantha, the luckiest and best looking dealer I have ever seen, besides being one of the nicest and most versatile persons employed here. In summation, I hope to spend many more happy years here.

Mother has been at Atria Seville for 6 months. I cant say enough about the staff and services they provide. There have been a more than a few events in which mother has needed assistance and encouragement. The staff and management literally jump and run to care for her and keep me informed. A special thanks to Karen Gains (Community sales director). Karen does much more than sell, she freely councils and cares for each resident and family member long after the sale. At Atria Seville you will never hear Thats not my job. This holds true from cooks to maintenance to the Executive Director.

The Atria Seville is an absolutely beautiful and loving five-star resort community. Im always impressed not just by the fabulous staff but also by the incredible residents! The Engage Life Director, Jill Ann Biondo, is the BEST! She always has diverse activities going on and the residents are always participating. Jill Anns decor for every holiday is stunning and I love how she features the residents and their accomplishments with photos on the hallway walls - just as if they were over their own fireplace mantle. She has photos of the men who fought in WWII and Korea with their active duty pictures alongside their current headshots and I love the new large-screen TV with revolving photos right as you come in - it sets the tone that the residents are the stars and they are living life to the fullest! I perform there nearly every month - sometimes singing with a pianist doing a cabaret show, sometimes with my 7-piece swing band (The Speakeasy Swingers - whos oldest member is 92-years-young and who toured with Louis Armstrongs Big Band back in the Forties - hes usually the oldest man in the room but when we play the Atria, there will be four or five people older than him!) and sometimes just leading a sing-along to Mitch Miller CDs. Jill Ann even had me be part of a Murder Mystery with some of the residents - and I ended up being the murderer - who would have thought? It was such fun rehearsing with the residents and getting to know their life stories - like Rosalie, whos a club president, and ambassador for the Atria Seville and who knows every word to every song I sing from the Great American Songbook. Theres so many wonderful residents who never miss a performance - Izzy who loves to sing Besame Mucho, Brad -- who once nearly competed in the Olympics - and would have if WWII hadnt gotten in the way; he loves Ill Take You Home Again Kathleen and Nancy whos a real Broadway fan and always sings along on Hello Dolly. I can always count on everyone in the room (and upstairs watching from the balcony) singing or humming along to Always, It Had To Be You, or Well Meet Again (my bands closing theme song). My band has played for an Academy Awards ceremony where the residents received Oscars, New Years Eve dance, and coming up for Mardi Gras and their Homecoming Prom dance in May. Ive had residents tell me that they never want to miss a performance because they enjoy the music so much and its such a treat to have such wonderful LIVE music right in their living room. They never know who Ill bring to play piano - Ive had pianists who have played for every major star on the Strip back in the Fifties, Sixties and Seventies join me because they enjoy playing for the seniors who love the music so much. In short, Atria Seville is truly a five-star resort community with loads of activities and amazing residents who make sure they are enjoying life to the max!
