My mother has been a resident here for over three years (along with my father who passed away in November.) The staff and caregivers have become like family and have been supportive and caring when we need the extra TLC. We've laughed together and cried together. It brings our family relief to have this when we can't be with Mom. There are many activities and social events to attend. Games, music, sit and fit exercise classes, special brunches for holidays. The outdoor area is a serene, beautiful place to sit outside and enjoy. Mom walks daily along the path around the building. A big thanks to all who have touched our lives

I have a client who was placed here and has been a resident for the past year and I visit her several days per week. Sunrise is by far, the best senior living facility in southern Nevada (and I have been to several). Deb, the house nurse always has the residents’ best interests in mind and makes sure they always have what they need. She’s always available and follows up on any issues. She shows every resident dignity and respect. She clearly loves what she does, cares about seniors and their families too. Onika is a care manager that goes above and beyond everyday. She's very attentive and remembers preferences of special needs clients. If someone's under the weather, she's checking in on those clients. She goes the extra mile to make my client feel secure and doesn't leave the room until she knows they're comfortable. My client always looks forward to seeing her. Mary is the heart of the facility, making sure everyone is safe. She meets all the residents’ mail and package needs. She schedules their hair/barber and nail appointments. She has patience with residents, which is so important. It always smells like fresh cookies or popcorn in the facility, because she is always cooking for the residents. This place just got rated Las Vegas’s best assisted living and I can tell you, as someone who visits several days per week, it’s very true. It’s always clean, tidy and the residents are looked out for and well taken care of by the entire staff. So if you’re looking for a place for your loved one, just call and they will give you a tour to check it out.

My partner has been living at Sunrise for over a month now, and we are finding many positive aspects to the community. We visited Sunrise four times before making the decision to move here. During that process, Valerie, LA, and Deborah were very professional and thoroughly answered all of our questions. Valerie and LA were especially helpful with the transition and made the move for us easier. Additionally, Wendy has been supportive with managing all of the health needs. Ann really helped me when I made a big mistake on my payment accounts. Marie is very understanding when I have concerns about my partner. The staff receptionists are welcoming and can answer any question you may have. There are so many people working and helping my partner. Different staff members have called me about various concerns and questions. I really like this important communication. They seem happy to be there. I am thankful and appreciate their hard work and dedication. On their website, it will let you know what activities your loved one participated in for that day. Sometimes there are pictures. I really am impressed with Sunrise and I feel positive having him live here.

My mother has been in the memory care unit at Sunrise Henderson since April, 2025. The entire staff treated her with kindness, patience and dignity. For the rest my family there was piece of mind knowing that someone was always looking after her as she was sleepwalker along with advancing memory issues. For someone who hasn't been in our position as a family, the cost seems high, but when you consider the care your loved one receives and the piece of mind that you have, it is a bargain. Now that my family member has made their home at Sunrise for five months, I wanted to update my previous review. The only way to describe the overall health and well-being of Dan E is to say “complete transformation”. When he first went to Sunrise, he was not able to ambulate on his walker and was taken to meals in his wheelchair. He also spent between meal times in his room, as he didn’t feel comfortable socializing with other residents. Well, thanks to the amazing staff, including his aides Maricel, Adonis, Maryann, Casey and others, Dan E has transformed in an amazing way. He now goes to meals on his walker, transfers on his own, and after breakfast, spends the morning in the living room playing games, (Wheel of Fortune is his favorite and mine as I join him regularly), watching movies, or going over the Daily Chronicle. I am truly amazed at how well he has embraced his new surroundings and even more grateful for the exceptional care he receives. Marie, Coordinator of Reminiscence Care, is caring, understanding, and always available. She leads a remarkable team. There are many others, in various departments, that I interact with and everyone knows my name and treats me like family. Mary, at the Front Desk, is such a welcoming presence and each time I walk through the door, she lights up and makes me feel embraced. There isn’t anything she doesn’t know and she has helped me so many times. L.A. continues to assist me with such kindness and understanding. Tarynn, ED, is also always available to me. She is such a compassionate, caring, hands-on leader. To conclude, Dan E has been in four other Assisted Living Facilities, both here and in CA. Sunrise of Henderson is definitely the very best. Both Dan E and I consider the entire team Our Family... Our Earth Angels. We are very grateful to all.

My mom is a resident at Sunrise of Henderson on the reminiscence memory care floor. The caregiver staff are amazing and spend so much time making sure the residents have what they need. My mom requires a high level of care and they will sit with her and feed her for as long as she needs. They are kind and so invested in the well being of their residents. This is my mom's 3rd facility and she is very frail but we are very happy with the care she gets at Sunrise. I wish had moved her to Sunrise sooner.

My sister and I always promised my mom. We would not put her in a place, a convalescent home for sure, but it got to where we couldn’t even leave the house without her needing something or falling down. Her memory was going faster each day. We shopped around for facilities and knew what we wanted. There was a show on Netflix called the Inside man and he was a an old guy living inside a senior assisted living place. I told my sister if we could find a place like that… that would be the greatest, but I thought there would be nothing like that. After visiting Sunrise, we knew immediately. This is the place that we will pick for our mom. We always would tell people it’s like living on a cruise ship. You got everything there…. the nurse, the doctor all the caretakers are the greatest & friendliest bunch of people you will ever meet in your entire life. Seeing is believing so if you have a question about this, you have to go visit, you won’t believe it. Linen tablecloth’s, they have games, activities, rides. The list goes on and on. If you’re feeling bad about putting your mom or dad some place this will help. Sunrise was our second home too. Our mom only ended up being there four months but for us and for her it was the best last four months. She continually saw people 24 hours a day. She was a little bit active. There’s a person there that even does hair and nails you can’t beat this place. Your heart will be at ease if you end up putting your mom or dad there. We did feel bad, but I know she got more attention there than she did living at my house. There are so many people to Thank and be Thankful for.

My mother, who recently passed away, was a resident of this place, solely because of the glowing reviews this place somehow received. My sister was first sold on this place because of the supposed exclusivity and reviews. She and my father were in contact with an individual by the name of Valerie, who is the saleswoman for Sunrise. I didn't meet her until later, but it was clear what Valerie was when she came to my parents' house, armed with a "nurse" named Tee from Comfort Hospice, another shabby organization that Valerie knowingly set up (that I'm sure Valerie got a kickback from), to evaluate my mother. I was far from impressed with her then, and in retrospect, my intuition about her was spot on and still is: she's a vulture. As it is with a few others who work there. Nonetheless, Valerie, being the typical saleswoman that she is, sold my sister and my father on moving her in. However, once my mother was moved in, we, her family, soon enough got a rude awakening after the week-long honeymoon period. This place is overrated and definitely not worth the outrageous amount of money they charge. The admin staff is absolute garbage, specifically the very rude, disrespectful, childish, and unprofessional Debra Shaskin (the VOLUNTEER activities director). I also am not a fan of Ashlee Jensen (the person who allegedly runs things there), Linda Kahn (activity staff person), Marie (the care coordinator of the floor my mother was on), Valerie (the saleswoman), and others in the activities admin staff. I would hate to think that the Sunrise administration's (and a couple of the staff members') microaggressions and unpleasant, immature, horrid and unprofessional treatment that me, my sister and my father experienced as the family of a resident was just special to us...for perhaps, obvious and not-so-obvious reasons...nonetheless, Shaskin's (and Linda/activities staff as well as Marie, Valerie, and Ashlee and the rest of the "administration" at Sunrise) lack of courtesy, respect, or professionalism will not yet go unforgotten, nor unchecked. To end this on a good note, however, the type of care and the quality of care that specific caregivers gave my mother was top notch, and I thank them for everything they did for her and for us, right until the very end. Also the place/surroundings, albeit outdated, were nice. That's the only reason why this place gets two stars.

The staff at Sunrise are the best in town! The Activities Team (Debbie, April, & Belinda) offer such a nice variety of activities that there is something for everyone. From Pretty Nails, helping my mom feel pampered, to Math & Thinking Games, helping her stay sharp, the ladies make activities fun, engaging, and special for every resident. They are always talking with residents, smiling, and working hard for them. The Caregiving Team is fantastic, too. Shianne ensures the best training, staff supervision, and open communication with the family, which is so critical. The caregivers, such as Anji, Anuka, Briawnna, Kaitlin and everyone on staff truly care and they provide warm, patient, helpful, and consistently high-quality care. The nurses and the med techs, for example, Marsha and Isaac are on-time, careful, accurate, patient, and caring. The fantastic front desk staff, kitchen staff, cleaning staff- are on task to provide the best environment possible. My mom loves Sunrise and the great care she is getting provides us a peace of mind that we so appreciate. I highly recommend Sunrise.

My husband was a resident at Sunrise for seven months. He was on the memory care floor. There are not enough words to express how I feel about the staff. They took such good care of my husband. I was there a lot, especially during lunchtime, and I could see how the staff interacted with the residents. There was always someone there to help. The staff knew all my family by name. Everyone was warm, friendly and caring. They encouraged my husband to participate in all the activities. On days when he didn’t want to be around the noise of everyone doing an activity, someone would take him outside to enjoy some fresh air. The facility is clean and very well maintained. There is a support group available for family members. That was very helpful. During my husband’s last days all the staff was incredibly kind and supportive. Placing my husband in Sunrise was a difficult decision. While he was there I knew he was safe and well cared for. Definitely a five-star review from me.

Sunrise of Henderson is an outstanding senior living community for our dad. The staff is phenomenal, very knowledgeable, professional and caring. Our dad came to Sunrise of Henderson in poor health, in a wheelchair and on oxygen. He was living on his own and declining fast, so he made the decision to seek out an assisted living facility. Sunrise of Henderson was the only facility we visited (appointment set up through A Place for Mom) and immediately decided it was the place for him. Since moving into Sunrise of Henderson, and due to the amazing staff at the community as well as the residents our dad is thriving. He is off the oxygen and walking around with his walker. He has established a morning routine of eating breakfast, attending the exercise session and then going to many of the other activities, such as Bingo, Rock n Dice or Jeopardy. My sister and I have become regulars in playing Bingo with him and have become friends with many of the residents. Our dad has become very social and participates in a lot of fun activities that keeps him active and thriving. He loves the food, the staff and all the fun things he can do during the day. This place is like family to our dad and to us. All the staff from the concierge, dining, housekeeping, caregivers, medical, maintenance and management provide excellent care and are ready to help whenever needed. They go out of their way to make sure all of our dad’s needs are met and keeps us informed of any issues or things they need for his care. We couldn’t have made a better choice for our dad than with Sunrise of Henderson. Our dad as well as our family feel safe and well cared for at this community.

Sunrise Senior Living is the best assisted living facility in the valley. The location and amenities are exceptional. The feeling of being at home is felt throughout the property. The rooms have floorplans that utilize the square footage in the best way possible. The covered parking is a nice bonus as well as free transportation on uesdays & Thursdays. The dine in area is cozy & spacious. I especially liked the waiting space that had a fireplace with a den setting. The gorgeous fresh flowers throughout were another reminder of home. The staff was caring & professional. If you're considering assisted living look here first, no need to look any further!

From the moment my family and I went to tour Sunrise they made you feel very welcome! My interactions with Priscille, Fabrienne, Shianne, Nav, Ashley, Debbie, Bobbie, Mary and the care givers especially Taya, Enoka, Anji, Kaitlynn, and Tanya were beyond impeccable. There was never a time we had any issues with the staff or the facility. They handled everything to the best of their ability and I truly appreciate each and every one of them. Just in my first conversations with the reps from Sunrise, I was positive it was going to be the place I'd want my grandmother to go. So far our communication has been wonderful and all of the residents looked so happy. ***Update*** My grandmother is all settled in and let me tell you the staff is AMAZING!!! She's so happy to be there and is so comfortable. The facility she came from prior to arriving at Sunrise was atrocious. And they neglected her and basically starved my grandmother. I would like to share it with you for the Sunrise Senior Living the only way I know how to put this into words is to to tell it how I feel in the beginning I was, not wanting to come here or to any assisted-living but my first day here I was really really surprised the staff knew who I was and called me by my name that day I met some residents all who oh, were very nice to me as well., Sunrises makes every effort to accommodate their residents and to see that they’re not bored, and to keep them healthy and active. as the days went by, I came to like this place more and more. There is always something for everyone There’s Always something for everyone here the staff sees to it that everyone is accommodated and no one is left out. Also, they try to include family members as much as possible to take part in things here my family came, to the Christmas buffet they all loved it, one of my brothers said this was the best Christmas he had since he can’t remember when In the app, good and brown made m. My other brother said that this is such a great place and if has to go into a senior home he, he would like it to be this one I felt good and proud that I was here and we had such a good place from the moment you walk into the front door you feel a very good atmosphere it it looks good. It smells good and the people around all look so happy I’ve come love this place. and don’t want to leave Sunrise seems to be a very happy and family oriented facility. You don’t find many like this right when you walk in the front door it has the atmosphere of a home the warmth and caring of the people and And staff is noticed right away Other senior citizens should use Sunrise as their model Senior Living home it doesn’t get any better than this Who i’m writing this review and I don’t. I’m not good at putting things in words and I wanted to come out real good because this is the best place I’ve ever seen. it doesn’t get any better than this

I have been visiting this facility for about 2 years as an outside provider and in my opinion this is one of the best assisted living facility I have seen in this city. Caregivers and nurses truly care about their residents. This is a place where employees treat residents as a family but first at all with respect, compassion and dedication. The staff, food and facility are exceptional. My father moved in last April after being rejected to return to Merrill Gardens on Paseo Verde (complications after a hip replacement). This was a blessing in disguise. Sunrise Assisted Living does not have the staffing turnover and shortages that Merrill Gardens is experiencing. Sunrise staffs 3-4 caregivers per floor during the day and 2 late at night. This is in addition to at least two RN's to manage the medical needs of the residents. Merrill Gardens (larger facility) staffs a CNA in charge with only a few caregivers during the day and 1-2 at night for all floors. All this for about the same price. I am particularly impressed by the efficiency of serving meals at Sunrise. The caregivers from all the floors work in the dining room during meal time and take orders on tablets. Orders from the menu are sent to the kitchen electronically, and meals are typically served in less than 10 minutes. Meals at Merrill Gardens may take up to 30-40 minutes to be served depending on staffing. Sunrise seems to really have this figured out!

From the moment we entered this facility it felt like home. The staff, regardless of their positions, were uniformly friendly, helpful, and professional. I am updated regarding any changes wrt the status of my aunt who is a resident there, and repeatedly impressed by the immediate response to any of her medical needs. The robust activities program entertains my aunt to the degree that she is often too busy to talk on the phone...and the food is great! Here’s my top notch reaction and comments to the Luau that was sponsored by Sunrise Senior Living, where I’ve been living for the past 5 months. The food is amazing, delicious, 5 star, appetizing, smells good and overall wonderful. The team that works here coordinated this event with aplomb and a certain cleverness. They were dressed appropriately for a luau and treated the residents and their guest with care, thoughtfulness and good manners.
