My experience was fine. I got to visit my friend in her room. We watched the mass on the Catholic Channel. My my friend is in room 105. She is so pleased with the Catholic Channel, since it's in Spanish.

Seems like most of the people that work here are sweet and take care of the residents! Except for Rosa She has been very rude not only to residents family (including myself) but also to the residents (including my grandma) which made the visit very uncomfortable. I can only imagine how the residents feel with her I get that you need nurses but a nursing home has a purpose to serve to make residents comfortable. Which is the only concern I'm having with this place.

Desert Springs keep the rooms clean and the residents too. There is a TV set in each room and it is good size so it can be seen from their beds My Mom has made several friends there. The meals are served on time an they are good meals and good normal size portions. There are activities daily like BINGO or Movie with popcorn, woman's day for manicures or men's day for manicures, and beauty shop day and barber shop days too. On Sundays there are around 3 different church services plus one in Spanish. I visit my Mom 3 days a week and on Sundays I listen in on the Spanish services and it is real nice. There are several really nice staff members working there at Desert Springs. My Mother has not said anything bad about them. She likes the staff that help her. I love Desert Springs! They took such great care of my husband. My sister in law Jaci and her wonderful nursing staff got him back on his feet again. Berry in physical therapy went above and beyond for him. We love the care he received there!

Our group is always happy to go visit & have a church service with any of the residents who want to come. Most Sundays we have a proximity 12 - 15 who join with us. The one thing I like about Desert Springs is it is clean most of the time.

I have a good friend who had to rehab here after a broken hip. Every time I went to see her, she was well cared for and the staff was really friendly and concerned about her.

My stay here was nice...the nurses were nice..the staff was nice and helpful and friendly...very nice and clean..i think Ms.Saenz the house keeper...was awesome..and kept everything nice and clean...Ms. Sara always gentle and helpful..happy...Crystal..David..Memi..Ray..Jay...Gaby...Jasmine..Terry...Josh in wound care...n lots more ..they were the best..and made time fly..i hate to go and miss everyone...but..in a way i am glad to go home..

Our Mom spent her last months on earth in this wonderful place! Caring for people at the end of life can be exhausting, but these wonderful people do it with excellence and dignity. Many of them told me how special Mom was to them. I'm amazed at their hearts and service! Shout outs to Ursula, Janell, Rosa, Guadalupe, Mary, Riley, Yazmin, Velma, and Daniel! So grateful for your compassionate care for Mom!
