My Mom was a resident at Sunrise in Woodcliff Lake for 5 years. She received excellent care there. She spent the last few years on the Reminiscence Floor. The staff there was extraordinary, especially at the end of her life. Sunrise offers individualized care but works as a team, led by Executive Director Grace Cosgrove. Every employee there, front desk receptionists, nurses, aides, chef, recreation coordinators, maintenance person, hairdresser and manicurist knew my Mom and treated her and our family with the utmost respect and kindness. We initially chose Sunrise of Woodcliff Lake because it was so beautiful, with lovely outdoor space and beautiful lawn and gardens. The inside was always impeccably clean and cheerful. But it was the people there we came to value the most.Sunrise became home to my Mom and the staff her family too. Moving my Mom into Sunrise was the best decision we ever made. We are ever grateful to everyone at Sunrise.

My loved one stayed a short time at this community, and what I saw seemed nice enough. Circumstances did not allow her to stay long, but that was not the fault of the community.
