My friend Claudie Schuler was a resident of Woodbury Mews from January of 2024 to June of 2024. Claudie passed away on June 15th 2024 at the age of 95. The nurses aid Pam, took great care of my friend during her stay there. Claudia's last two weeks at the Mews were spent in bed. I was at her side every day from 11 in the morning until 5 in the evening. When Pam was working, I was at ease I knew she was taking great care of Claudie. She would come in every half hour to 45 minutes to check on her lips, her skin and her condition making sure that she was comfortable. Pam's compassion and care is genuine and she inspired me to volunteer at the Mews. I am in my third year of volunteering in activities and it's a blessing to bring happiness to the residents. Pam is truly an angel as I watch her interact with the residents over the last 2 years. Some of the resident's children have mentioned to me what a blessing Pam has been to them. She is a ray of sunshine. Forever grateful Phil Burkle

The facility is beautiful and independent living area is well maintained. Room cleaning is irregular but mostly acceptable. Major drawback is the low quantity food served. Both quality and prep is completely unacceptable!

Hello Mews Staff in the Gardens Mom has been living at the Mews nearly two years now. I can't say enough about the dedication and commitment of the amazing staff in the Gardens. Mom often tells me that she is in the best place and feels safe, and cared for, by all of the staff. Special thanks to the nurses, aides, activity staff, cleaners, and kitchen crew, as well as the nurse Practitioner and Therapists! I am grateful for the care and love she receives daily in the Gardens! Thank you for providing all of the daily activities; the exercises, arts and crafts, musical performances, and spiritual events. Mom continues to feel purposeful. Keep up the great work! Mom has been at The Mews Gardens for over a year. All during Mom's life she was always active and involved with her many interests. I am thrilled with the activity staff that creates, organizes, and facilitates a variety of activities to stimulate the residents bodies, minds and spirits. These staff members, Barb and Deanna are very enthusiastic, creative, encouraging and supportive, plus they exhibit lots of patience whenever necessary. I really appreciate the Mews recognizing the importance of consistency. These two women are an amazing team! They are even similar in stature & appearance, which helps the residents recognize and remember them. And they are funny too, and bring smiles and laughter to every activity. Mom is engaged and busy all day just like she was in her life before Mews! Bravo Team Barb & Deanna!

My mom has been in Assisted Living for 14 months at the Woodbury Mews. Danyel, Tanisha, and Shameka have taken good care of my mother with experience and ability that I know she's in good hands when they're there. They always keep me informed to her continuing status. They have a positive attitude. Shameka even goes in on her day off to help for a couple of hours. Stacie has traveled to hospitals to review my mom's condition. Jenn is there on other days looking after my mom. Denise, Head of Nursing, is open and easy to talk with. While I never met the evening and night people I want to thank Dawn, Pauline, Pam, Darlene, Natia, Jessica, Charlyn, Tina, Jordan and Lourda. They look after my mom 24x7 when I'm 130 miles away.

We needed to find a memory center for my father. We visited several and there was no question the Woodbury Mews was the right place. The staff are exceptional, friendly and caring. Everyone there knows him by name. He loves the food and the activities. He attends Mass and loves the Friday "Happy Hour" with music and a little dancing. The staff keeps us informed on any medical or personal issues he may have. The facility is kept very clean, that is the first thing extended family would comment on the first time they would visit. My mom has been here a little over a year. She's had some health issues and the staff has been so supportive. Trish at reception has been tremendous! She truly cares about the people here and gives me peace of mind knowing that she checks in on my mom or lets me know if something is off. As our parents age, if we can't be with them all the time, it's so good to know that someone else is watching over them.

Fantastic facilities and at first my mom had a great experience but lately they have been very short staffed and services are slipping, particularly the housekeeping. Both my mom and I have expressed concerns and been made promises that have not been kept regarding housekeeping. It doesn't help that these issues have come up at the same time that rates have been raised. Makes it feel even more insulting. To be fair though, I have met many staff that have been caring and helpful. I have also attended several events there which have been lovely. Update: Mom's room has been cleaned regularly over the last month and a half So happy management corrected the issue! Thank you!

My aunt has been a resident here for quite some time now. Sadly she is not the easiest as of lately. However I would love to give one of the CNA's a huge shout out for always going above and beyond. All of the staff is great, but Brittany stuck out to me the most. With keeping up with the laundry, her room is always up to par, and my aunt is taken great care of. If you are thinking of a nursing home to put your loved one in, take a look a Woodbury mews.

Very nice friendly ppl. at desk & free to walk around once inside. There's atrain track adjacent to property, her Apt. its directly in front of it. Apparently it still goes by every morning at the same time (I was told loudly blowing Horn-'Eye roll'! When they show Place during the day -"No Sounds"!) Apparently she likes it there and has Still has her Freedom! I had personally never tasted the food but my sister really knew how to cook- she wasn't crazy for the fish the one day-hopefully due to a 'lack of seasonings'. Having been in many (5+) nursing homes, I really liked This place by Far, So did my family! She's Very Special to All everyone so we want the Best for Her! Hopefully, it Is As good as it is perceived. 

I was so impressed with the whole staff at Woodbury Mews. From the receptionist, Trish, to sitting down with Lorraine I could feel the warmth and knew right away this was the place for my mother. They listened to my needs and addressed them all. The entire nursing staff really cares about the residents. I just finished signing contracts with Betsy and she was very thorough and informative. I can not wait for my mother to enter this next chapter of her life.

My daughter and I went here for a public event. It was amazing! Elsa and Spider-Man greeted us at the door! The characters were so friendly and sweet with the kids. There was pretzels and cotton candy along with refreshments! Elsa and Spider-Man had a dance/sing along on the outside patio with snow for the kids! They had an ice cream truck come! The kids were all so happy. The staff was great and overall the event was amazing. All free too! You can tell the staff really cared about the elderly who lived there as well. It seemed they new each resident on a personal level. The facility itself was beautiful and clean. We are excited to go back if they have another fun day event!

I recently initiated an inquiry, via the website, in an effort to update my accumulation of information on the Mews. After sitting with Lorraine Parker, RN, Senior Sales Advisor, my sister and I was were offered a tour. The tour was most welcome and enjoyed since a comprehensive renovation program had been completed since our visit of several years ago. The resident "gathering spaces" are inviting and comfortable. The inclusion of a quiet area for "art appreciation" was unexpected and beautifully presented.

Ive worked here about 8 months now and have become a part of the mews family. i started as an essential worker and now apart of the maintenance crew. i enjoy coming in everyday and interacting with the residents who are some of the most friendly and interesting people Ive met. the staff here does an incredible job day in and day out to do everything they can for everyone here. these have been rough times for all of us but everyone here keeps a smile and a good attitude. Denise and her staff of nurses are amazing with everyone. Kim and her staff in our memory care unit take such good care of everyone. jake and his crew are some of the hardest workers here and everyone else goes above and beyond every single day. My father lived in the memory care unit as his health declined.The nurses and staff are very caring. It is a clean facility, nicely decorated. I am so thankful for nurses and the aids at the Mews. They go above and beyond . Kim schedules trips for them and even comes in on her days off. She finds cute activites and does them with the patients woth the help of Sarah. They make sure the unit is cute and decorated for every holiday. The aids are wonderful with the residents and i know they get great nursing care. Im happy my grandmom gets to call this place home and it guves me comfort knowing she is well cared for.

My father in law started out on the assisted living side (Denise is wonderful!) then he was transferred to the memory care unit there. I can not say enough about the care and compassion the nurses and CNA's display. Nurses Kim and Jen go above and beyond! They truly are gems, I don't know how we could have done it without them! My parents moved into the Woodbury Mews in 2013. After losing my mother and due to my father's declining health, I moved my father into the Mews Assisted Living facility in 2015. I've been extremely impressed at the changes and improvements that have taken place at the Mews since Watermark has taken over management of the facility. The communication between residents, family and the wellness providers has been tremendous. I am not only in touch with the Director and his immediate staff on various issues but also in close contact with the Wellness Center nurses and LifeChoice Hospice staff. We recently encountered a looming financial challenge for my father, a retired USMC veteran. Thanks to Michael Lando's assistance, we were able to identify resources for his VA benefits and work with the Mews staff on any changes/modifications to my fathers care. It is very reassuring to know my father is in a caring, supportive environment! They are like family and truly care about his comfort and well-being!

My parents just moved into the Independent Living portion of Woodbury Mews. They have a one-bedroom apartment with kitchen. It's really lovely looking. It was freshly painted for them, new rugs installed and maintenance has been great helping to hang heavy mirrors/artwork etc. The only negative, per my mother, is the food and I've seen this echoed in other reviews. She said it's not very well-prepared and not very favorable with little to no seasoning. She's glad she has her own kitchen so she can prepare some meals on her own instead of eating in the communal dining room.

I worked at the Mews for about 2 years until just recently. I can tell you from an insider's perspective that it is a great place for your loved one. No place is perfect, but the staff truly cares for the residents.
