This is my first time writing a review for anything. I am so thankful for cardinal village. Dad has been there since 2015 when my mother passed. Everyone there has been kind and helpful from day one. He started out in independent living and now resides in assistant living. My dad is blind so he depends on these wonderful people. I love that I can pop in on dad anytime of the day, it is always pleasant, and has a pleasant smell. I’ve popped in as late as 9pm for a visit more than once. Dad is now slowly declining, and they are so attentive to him. They are wonderful, and hospice is wonderful. They keep me informed. The best peace of mind I have is that my dad is happy there and we are so appreciative of their care and kindness. It is a 45 minute drive for me, but I thank the Lord for directing us to cardinal village.

My Mom lives at Cardinal Village in the assisted living section. The staff is caring and friendly. This is truly a community, assisted living facility. They offer many daily program and a wonderful community feel.

I appreciate the communication that constantly updates family members. When I visit, the nursing staff takes time to share a story or something special regarding what’s been going on with my mom. They are very patient and understanding of the needs of the elderly. After each visit I always feel reassured my mother is safe and well-cared for.

I worked here for over 10 years in our nursing and dietary departments. While its true no workplace or facility is perfect, at Cardinal Village you will find a great atmosphere and team with which to work, grow and make a difference. Our residents receive excellent care. Skilled and caring staff including supervisors and administration, many of whom have been there for 10 and 20 + years, go above and beyond to provide for, advocate for and accommodate residents and their families. It was a privilege not only to work with some wonderful people but also to get to know and care for so many of our residents and families over the years.

Our family loves Cardinal Village!!! My mom has been a resident there for 7 years and calls it her home! She moved into Independent Living which she just loved and then to assisted living. I cannot say enough about the wonderful care that my mother receives at Cardinal Village. The nurses are some of the most compassionate and caring people that I have ever met. All the staff is amazing. They are always so helpful, respectful, kind and understanding to her. They really go out of their way. They always keep me informed of things going on with mom. We made a great choice in coming to Cardinal Village!

My Dad moved to Cardinal Village at the beginning of the year. The staff has been incredible from the beginning. So welcoming, warm, and responsive all the time. They go out of their way to help him whenever they can. The apartments are large and spacious, and the best part is that they have screened in patios so that I can visit from outside whenever I want. That has been a blessing for our family and dad during the last several months especially. I cant thank the staff enough for always keeping us up to date and making my Dads life so much better!

The staff at Cardinal Village is without a doubt some of the most caring people I have ever met. They made the difficult decision to place my loved ones so much easier than I had anticipated, from start to finish. The nursing staff is THE BEST! Three years ago I lost my mom and this year my dad. They were so compassionate and guided us thru some of life's most difficult times.

The independent side was great, but unfortunately when we had to transfer my Aunt to the assisted side it went downhill fast. The food that was hot and fresh in the independent dining room was cold and sitting awhile in the assisted side. The bathrooms were unheated and the complaint of the room smelling like sewage were never addressed. She was assigned a higher level of care which she was charged for but never received. After several complaints to a supervisor we were invited to find another place for her which we promptly did. Before she was moved out, the Supervisor had a nurse call to offer a discount. Supervisor didnt even have the decency to call herself. We refused the deal.

I want to give a shout out to Cardinal Village and their staff! Several years ago, my family and I had looked at numerous options in the area for our parents care. We chose Cardinal Village as the apartments are spacious and clean, and the staff were welcoming and helpful! My parents had an apartment first in Independent Living and then moved to Assisted Living. I have always been impressed over the years with the feeling of family between the residents and staff! They are always professional and caring, going above and beyond for everyone!Several months ago, my mother passed away and I can't say enough how supportive, loving and accommodating everyone was and has been both with my father and our family! I highly recommend Cardinal Village to those who are searching for excellent care of their loved ones!

CV is an amazingly well run facility!! Both of my parents resided in an assisted living apartment (my father has passed, mom is still there). The entire staff treats residents with dignity and respect. I am very satisfied with the assistance given in daily living, meeting medical needs, meals & cleanliness of the facility. Any issues/concerns that arise by the staff or myself are discussed as to how to handle them. I feel very confident when not there that my mother is receiving excellent care and her needs are being met in a professional, comforting manner.In my father's final days the staff was extremely compassionate. They comforted my mother and family members. They worked closely with hospice and he was able to stay in his "home" with my mother to the end. The love and warmth was appreciated and their sorrow in seeing him pass was felt.CV has become a loving home for my mother. I drop in all different times and have never had a concern about how I found things. I highly recommend CV for you or a loved one if you want excellent care by loving, caring people who consider the residents family.

My father started as a resident in Independent Living and is now in Assisted Living. He is 90 yrs old and doing very well there. His physical ailments have all been addressed as well as the emotional issues. The nursing staff is professional and extremely caring. The rest of the staff are all exceptional in my opinion. I would highly recommend Cardinal Village; and I am not pleased easily, as I am very protective of my wonderful father!!

My 88 year old father moved into Cardinal Village one year ago. He really likes it there and has made many friends. The independent living apartments are well designed and have outdoor porches which is where he loves to spend his time listening to audio books. What makes Cardinal Village really special is its staff. They often tell me that they "love my dad" and I can see that they really mean it. His well-being and happiness is their #1 priority. They understand the struggles associated with caring for an aging parent and have made the process much more comfortable for my family. We are all very happy with Cardinal Village.

We were there for Thanksgiving dinner with Susans mom. Let me tell you,,the food was great better then the restaurant we went to later on. The kitchen staff did a great job.There was a young man named Patrick who was really great,,he took care of us the whole time we were there. The process of moving my parents to assisted living was the very stressful. We toured several options and finally settled on Cardinal Village for several reasons. While some of the newer places have beautiful common areas, the living areas are minuscule. The apartments at Cardinal Village are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. From the first visit we felt very comfortable with the place and the people. Karen Dixon, the marketing manager was extremely helpful and has been an invaluable resource in the process. My parents have been there for three months now and we are not disappointed. They are getting excellent care. All of the staff truly have the best interest of the residents at heart. From Patrick in the dining hall, who will make any dietary adjustments requested, to Tamika in housekeeping, who makes certain that the apartments are always clean, we couldn't ask for better service. The staff treats the residence like family and you can truly feel their caring.

Mom been there over 2 year and adjust to new friends and staff. it close to my home so it easy to visit with her she has her own apartment very comfortable mom going to be 88 yr this Aug. with screen it porch a lot of sunlight.

I'm very happy with the tour and with the place. They contact us every once in awhile and send information in the mail, but they don't overdo it.

When it was time to move my Mom and Dad to assisted living because they both suffered from dementia, I visited several facilities in Washington Township. Cardinal Village was the last of five. That was better than four years ago. I chose Cardinal Village because of the kindness that was shown from my first contact with Cardinal.. My exact words to Trish, the nursing director were "You have the kindness eyes I have ever seen in a health care practitioner and I am going to hold those eyes responsible for my parents". She never let me down. From Trish on down, the entire staff treated Mom and Dad with nothing but kindness, caring and respect. I lost my Dad last year and Mom just died December 22. The staff could not have been kinder. I truly felt that all who cared for my parents genuinely loved and cared for them. I am so thankful that I found Cardinal Village.

Im in Cardinal Village on a weekly basis and can testify to the warmth, generosity and kindness I see there. Each and every employee is dedicated to the safety and comfortability of their residents. I can promise you, your loved one will be well looked after at Cardinal Village. I would feel very comfortable having my own mother live there I know theyd treat her like their own!

Cardinal Village felt like home, and my mother was ready to move in after she visited. Everybody feel very welcome. The staff was extremely tenured, very easy to approach, and very personable. Everybody was really great from the service staff to management and to the clinicians. They have general practitioner and multiple discipline specialists that actually come in house. There is free transportation within 10 or 15 mile radius. We spent 4 hours touring the facility.

Cardinal Village was very nice. Maria, a staff member we met, was excellent. She gave us a lot of information about how we could afford to keep my mother-in-law there. The only thing was that the place seemed very dark to me. My mother-in-law prefers to be in a place that has a lot of windows.

You enter the lobby and scene is reminiscent of a grand hotel. Under that surface impression, nothing appears to change it. The staff is amazing, the apartments are well kept up, the grounds are immaculate. Mom has been here since September, 2014, and loves it - it is truly a community.
