Wash. TWP did a really good job and my mom, she got really good care. The staff was really friendly, I was amazed at how long they have been there! Lisa is like 20 years, and Carmen is the best! She helped my mom so much! She was in a single room or a studio which was definitely adequate for her. The bathroom was really big, it had a good shower with a seat and everything else is accessible for her. They also have different types of rooms. My mom would go to exercise classes, the arts/crafts were creative and she never missed BINGO. They did a lot of different activities and movies, they have a really nice multi-purpose room. Mom also was a big fan of the meals, she felt she was going out to eat every time. My mom sadly passed back in January; she got to spend a year there and went peacefully.

My mother has been a resident of Washington Township for three years. It wasn't an easy adjustment for any of us but throughout the difficult times, the staff were always available to answer our questions and to provide support and caring compassion. Now, I can say without any reservations, this is the perfect place for my mother. I can't imagine how our family would have coped with this pandemic without the kind care of the staff and the executive director Regina. Top notch all around. We have been kept informed every step of the way. Our questions are answered promptly and our concerns addressed immediately. In addition, during the quarantine, the staff has helped us to stay connected with multiple calls/face time/zoom. AND, early in January, the residents and staff ALL were vaccinated. We have been truly blessed to find this new home for her.

After moving her in almost three years ago, the change in her is remarkable. Mom is more social now than ever. She used to sit and watch TV all day. Now she plays bingo, made new friends, joins in on different "meetings" and discussions and goes on "outings" with other residents for a fun afternoon. I am impressed with her upbeat attitude and good progress as she is very happy and content in her new home. My brothers and I feel we made a great choice for her. Washington Township Senior Living has become part of our family throughout these past couple of years.

We are very thankful we found Washington Township Senior Living. My Aunt is so happy with her apartment, the caring and loving staff have become like a second family to us. She has many new friends, a big south philly Italian population of course. The activities are great, she is more spunky than ever. January will be two years for her, we got to see what life is like pre-covid and now in covid. Even during this virus, Washington Township Senior Living has made the best of the situation, but most importantly we know that she is safe and healthy. We visited half a dozen facilities and we let the decision for my Aunt to choose. I am 1000% certain that she made the right decision! It truly is a joy to see her smile and laugh when we go to do our porch visits. I must say also, that as a family member, anytime I have have a question or a concern the staff responds immediately. If my aunt doesnt answer the phone right away, I call Ashley at the front desk and she makes sure someone checks on her. I can rant on forever how great Washington Township Senior Living is; honestly if you are looking for care for you loved one, this is the place to be.

I got my mother in law back, but most importantly I got my wife back! There were so many sleepless nights that my wife spent over at her mothers house. The constant worry of if she is just OK just drained us; especially my wife. It was not an easy choice as we promised my mother in law that we would never put her in a Nursing Home. I say that with quotations, as this is all a stigma. The reality is that Washington Township is beautiful! I myself had to learn the difference in what assisted living actually meant. We virtually visited about 4 different facilities, and we knew that Washington Township was it! After talking with Regina (director) meeting all the staff; we just got that gut feeling; that feeling that this is moms new home. My mother in law is safe and now has a routine structure back in her life. I am forever thankful for the team at Washington Township Senior Living.

Washington Township Senior Living is a friendly, clean, and welcoming community. The staff treat the residents like family. They always keep them busy with activities to support resident interactions and entertainment, so no ever gets bored. The food is always homemade and delicious! The environment is filled with energy and positivity, and you couldnt ask for any better staff to care for your loved ones.

The sales director Emily is so kind and full of energy and is willing to help in any way she can! As a vendor, our organization provides care to many of the residents in this community. I will tell you that this community is very well organized, and you can tell that they are passionate about delivering superior care to their residents. From the second the doors open, you are greeted by a concierge, who is pleasant and extremely accommodating. The staff are friendly and professional. Most importantly, you can tell that the residents are very happy and receive excellent care. I’ve spoken to many family members in this community and they are thrilled to be part of the Five Star family. I would not hesitate to place my loved one in this community. They are THAT good at what they do!

I have had the pleasure of visiting this facility on more than one occasion and each time the staff has been super friendly and accommodating, the residents are always pleasant and happy and the place is always clean and well organized. They take multiple precautions to ensure the safety of the staff and residents and is all around a great place! I would recommend this to anyone searching for a great home for their loved one!

Truly an impressive community! The managers really seem to care about the people here. I met briefly with Emily (the marketing director) for a tour and she stopped to talk to every single person we passed and made sure they were happy and simply having good days. I have seen a lot of assisted livings, and none have appeared as much like a family as Washington Township Senior Living.

I have had several opportunities to visit Washington Twp Senior Living both on a professional as well as a personal level. The community is always clean and the staff is very caring and strives to be their best. They are always doing events for their residents and families. I would call and schedule a tour with Emily right away to schedule a tour and see for yourself.

I cant express how wonderful everyone connected with Washington Twp. Senior Living is. Its an absolutely beautiful facility, but more than that, the residents I met were fully engaged and entertained with all the activities offered there- obviously a happy place to call home. The 5 Star management team couldnt be more caring or helpful when I was searching for a home for my father. They offer all the amenities your loved one could possibly want and the food is fabulous!

I recently went to tour this facility and from the first call where I spoke with Jeannie to set up the appointment for the tour I had a feeling it was going to be a great experience and it was from the moment I walked in I felt more than welcomed the front desk receptionist Tammy greeted me pleasantly and had me take a seat while I waited for Jeannie the marketing director who was from start to finish absolutely amazing she made me feel so welcomed and was open and able to answer any and all questions. Before touring we sat down for breakfast and the food was delicious not to mention how overall great and friendly all the staff was I dont think I passed one person in there who looked unhappy. Over all this was such a wonderful experience.

Just returned home from South Philly Night at WTSL.It was a fabulous family and friends event beginning with tasty South Philly favorites such as sausage and peppers, cheese steaks, pasta salad,broccoli rabe and cannoli. We had a chance to mingle with other residents and their families. Many of whom were former South Philly residents. The night ended with entertainment from several String Band members. Great music which inspired some family members,residents and staff to get up and demonstrate their best mummer strut moves!!Lots of fun!! Very uplifting to see the joy on residents faces as they sang and clapped along!!!

My wife and I had a great time at south Philly night. We got to spend some time with a friend and share some of the great food. They had Philly cheesesteaks, cannolis,sausage and some great desserts as well as a singer and a mummers group playing songs. People were dancing and having great time.We wish we lived there.

As a clinical liaison for a skilled nursing facility, Ive had multiple interactions with Washington Township 5 Star Senior Living. Its always been a pleasure working with Genevieve no matter what the situation, whether it concerns transferring a resident or a social event. The events and support are always top notch! My Mom stayed for a 6 week respite and the care and respect she received were definitely 5 Star quality! I would highly recommend this facility ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I would like to take a moment and express my gratitude for the services that Washington Township Senior living staff has provided to my family and my family member. It was an emergency situation and every detail was taken of. The caring staff and professionals have been so kind and truly care about the people that are living there. Friendliness and warmthare seen through the halls of the building. The food and staff are warm and inviting. The ability to attend the wondeful family events they host helps to make my loved one feel as though she is not missing out.I have also had the professional pleasure to work with the staff in becoimg a real estate resource for them. Referring families to them for help and helping the families that need my professional abilites. I know the staff and they know me.Washington Township Senior Living stays very involved in the community. They have an open door policy allowing professionals in to help. Hosting wonderfull networking events, such as just recently the Hawaiian Luau.The opportunity was greatly appreciated and the networking is invaluable.

The Family & Friends Holiday Night was just wonderful!!! The staff goes all out to welcome everyone and make them feel comfortable. From the music to the delicious sweets (bananas Foster yum) a festive night for all!! What a great place!!!

South Philly night was so much fun! Our father Tom F. who has been a resident for 6 years loves to attend all the planned events and 5 Star has to offer. He loves the hospitality, food and staff who treat him with respect. Next year he will turn 100 years young!!
